  1. Sure, my graphics card is a bit outdated (6GB GTX 1060) but it doesn't matter.. I've tried putting everything to minimum spec and there is still something wrong with my framerate. My fiber connection is 1000mbps both ways and many other games work really well but for some reason this game very laggy with dropping framerates, it seems I can't push above 50 fps (with intermittent microfreezes) no matter the graphics settings (tried them all). Any suggestions on what I can try to do to improve the lag? I really like the game but PvP is a nightmare right now. Singleplayer works fairly well but this isn't exactly a single player game.... Processor Intel® Core i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz, 24 GB RAM Any ideas?
  2. That is not what is happening. the device is still there but switches to some other device (probably motherboard output) when I get out of range and switches back when I come back. All other applications work fine. Not Swtor. It is however not 100% reproducable... I'll try to narrow it down when it happens the next time. BTw: Updated my post to be clearer
  3. I have a wireless headset (not bluetooth). If I walk away to the kitchen the sound device (in windows) sometimes get switched (because I'm out of range). This makes the whole game lose ALL sound. When I come back Windows recognizes that I'm back and enables (switches back) the sound device but the game can't pick up on it. Disabling and Enabling the sound doesn't help. It seems the game only acquires the sound resource at start and doesn't try to re-acquire it when you enable the sound. This also has the side effect of crashing the game when trying to quit the game (probably trying to de-allocate the sound resource and fails unexpectedly). Steps to reproduce: * Connect a wireless headset with a usb receiver * start the game and log in * Walk away so that the signal is lost * Game has now lost sound * Try to quit game and it crashes I'm on Win 10

    Stun Wars

Hi All, My first whine post here so... here goes. PVP is F*cking broken. This game should be called STUN WARS instead!! Can you come up with a better pvp system please where "correctly timed stuns" isn't the core of the system? Basically if you have all your CDs then you have a shot, otherwise no (against an equally good opponent). Also... please fix Resolve, what is it suppose to do anyway??? That's it. Thank you for taking the time to read this whine post, I look forward to writing more as I go along and am exposed to more s*itty PVP CC. BR
  5. While I agree that it is hard to define skill and that skill is a very relative measure between different players there are some very OBVIOUS things that negates "skill". E.g. If a person with relatively good skill meet 2 players of the opposite team which don't have very much (still relative) skill, considering no stuns (or few CC options) are available then the person with good skill would have a chance. In this game however it is not the case... The better player (the one with "skill") would simply be stun locked to death. If this isn't completely OBVIOUS to you, Styxx, then I argue that you are just here to troll and/or act as if you are better than the rest. To everyone else It is completely obvious, that the stun system in Swtor is broken.
  6. I would like to see an overhaul of the stun system. As it is now it is ridiculous, stuns are too big of a factor in PvP, it really is frustrating and says nothing about your ability as a player.... just stun away. Please consider making PvP actually based on skill and stop it with this stun nonsense. BR
