  2. Ha! That wasnt one that I expected. Except for being the cutest of all companions, she does not have much going for her :p

    "Here, sir"

Her personality fit my IA to a tee. My IA was neutral leaning towards the light side. He was about getting the job done no matter the cost and protecting the Empire from not only the Republic but also the sith, he hates sith.

  3. 1. is HK-51 coming out in 1.4 or is that in a future update?

    2. any release date on Makeb?

    3. are we going to get the next chapter in our class storyline with Makeb?

    4. you guys recently stated that new content is going to be come out every 6 weeks but that you were for focusing on group content. is there any content planned for a solo player beside HK-51 and Makeb

  4. I submitted a ticket about this and talked to a customer service person live and was told to express my concerns and give suggestions on this forum. After the server consolidation, I now have two identical character on a server. By identical, I mean same alignment, advanced class, appearance, and race. There needs to be something that allows me to make these two characters not carbon copies of each other, whether it being able to change my advanced class, appearance, race, or maybe reset my class quests and alignment so I can make different choices.
  5. This thread isn't just meant for the emperor, but for the record; my guess is the vitiate's (first) body degraded into dust with age. It's my best guess, explaining why he wore rags over his face like a mummy when I first confronted him. Anyways:

This may sound odd, but I remember in KOTOR, and even a bit in KOTOR 2, that hk47 respected, but dislikes you. Even when you figure out more about yourself (in both K1 and K2) so, naturally, I want HK51 to do the same. I don't want him to like me, but respect me. I want to be degraded into be called a "meatbag", but not death threats like SCORPIO.

so, a middle ground between our two favorite droids: T7-O3's joyful and happiness, and SCORIPO's utter hatred for you.

actually the reason he was wearing "rags" over his face is because that was his voice that was a voss at the time, and after the confrontation his voice went to the planet voss and if you have played the sith warrior storyline you know how that turns out and btw this will answer all your questions about the emperor http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=340056

  6. I just finished the story on my Sniper Kylania last night and I went through with this, and it was of course the Cabal, but...

The idea was daft at best. This is especially after she later tells me that I'm their only field asset. So you send your only field asset to get captured and tortured, and that torture sequence was disturbing with sounds like you're being torn to pieces, where you'll be helpless and at the mercy of the enemy for the possibility it might be used against them? Being helpless and held by the enemy is not a good idea and our chance of survival would have been minimal at best. Add to that the method of torture could have easily been crippling or even far worse (although they can't go too far since this is an MMO). But she has the gall to say that she's glad I'm alright later in the story? I'd be much better if I wasn't getting what sounds to be multiple bones broken, shocked, and beaten. Bioware has always had a problem with nonsensical plot-hammers to force us to do really inane things, but this one was really aggravating. I even told Keeper off and said I'd figure something out, but no dice. I was even more annoyed with her when she responded that I had no idea what's she's been though. I wanted to point out that I've been through a living hell and that's before the torture she sends us too! The screams Kylania made and the horrific crunching sounds still ring in my ears after finishing the story last night.

The only reason I pushed on to finish after that nightmare was that Doc Lokin told me there was no permanent damage when they dropped us off and of course no alteration of Kylania's appearance, but the entire idea of this part of the story was ludicrous. As an imperial agent, we would of course be trained to resist interrogation since being captured and interrogated is a strong possibility, but being told to get this done on purpose, and especially considering the state of intelligence at the time is just imbecilic.

Despite the above spoiler, the overall story was very good although after seeing the Warrior and Inquisitor endings I see we really get shafted. I don't expect the rewards that a Sith gets of course, but the level of disparity is alarming. On the plus side, their stories were a lot blander than ours, if they were less put upon.

the torture scene was a cliche, its in alot of spy/military based movies and i actually thought that it proved what the agent was willing to go through to save the empire. plus it was the only way we could get the star cabal to slip up so we could find them. watcher 2 was very nice and considerate which is why i chose to give the codex to the minister but stay in the system and make the empire a better place aka "Not batman". i hope in an expansion i can rebuild intelligence and put watcher 2 back as keeper, old keeper back as the minister, and me still as cipher nine...fyi i went completely neutral and doing whats best for the empire not the sith

  7. I like the story but it has its moments of pure stupid near the end.

When Keeper tells you in act 3 that your mission is to get captured by the Republic and then learn what you can and escape. Like she knows they're going to do just that and then put you into a situation where you can escape. I mean, did she read the script?

I just refused to continue after that. Fortunately I was 50 so I don't need to.

It was the Star Cabal not the Republic and she told you she was giving you 24 hours to escape, and if she did not hear from you in those 24 hours she was going to call in reinforcements to save you

  8. I'm just hitting Voss in Act 3 so still not sure yet myself and am curious as well. I too picked the freedom option since revenge can easily come with being free and that whole experience was so traumatic, I almost automatically picked freedom. I don't know what the differences would be but on Belsavis:

Scorpio flooded the room I was in with my convinct team with a gas that makes you extremely violent, but my agent was immune. Scorpio commented that it should have been impossible, but apparently my choosing freedom from one form of brainwashing carries over well! I don't know if other options from act 2 would really change anything here, but I liked how it fit.

the other options don't. I chose the option to push me past my limits and still got the same cutscene with scorpio.

and to answer the question: I don't know what happens with that particular option, but i do know if you select the one that says push me past my limits watcher x just says that is an interesting idea then frees me from my brainwashing

  9. I went completely neutral trying to do what was best for the Empire on my agent and got him to lvl 50. I am now currently making a new one completely light side, it's quite fun and makes the story alot more interesting.

Despite what many people think the Empire is not evil, the Sith are evil, the Empire is neutral

  10. My ending was a mix of two of them. I went neutral, imperial intelligence dissolved and I gave the Minister the black codex but said I did not want to become a free agent.

The direct quote is: Me: "I'll make the empire a better place not by fleeing but standing my ground." Minister: "loyal to the bitter end i see. good luck to you cipher or however long that name lasts."

This confuses me because I went neutral and did not get DS points for this ending. All I know is it was pretty cool though.
