  1. I would support a personal damage meter available only to the user, and one available only to the group/operation leader that lists all team members efforts. This enables the individual and the leader to assess performance and effectiveness. Neither should have a chat-spamming ability. Ultimately, the meter is only a tool. How it gets used is up to the player community. We choose our leaders for their ability to guide us to success. Hopefully, your leader can use such tools to assist each person in attaining their maximum effectiveness. If that's not happening, get a new leader, find a new crew to run with, or start your own. Macros are a sticky wicket. Too much logic, and you reduce the game to easy mode. Not enough and they are useless. I wouldn't mind the ability to use some simple macros to combine damage/healing abilities to reduce keybind clutter. It's going to take some time for Bioware to work out what the middle ground on that is.
