  1. OK, so, it's stronghold/guildship stuff. It needs some fleshing out, and some bits may be impossible but would be a very cool mini-expansion! So, basically, the idea is, some areas of a stronghold or guildship would allow access to new guild-based content. Examples: PvE Fleet Battles: In the fleet battles, the guildship would follow a pre-set course ala space-on-rails missions. Guildmembers could: 1) man turrets on the guildship 2) launch starfighters to attack targets or defend the guildship 3) launch player-class ships [1 ship of each class at a time, at pre-set intervals]. Depending, of course, on what areas on the ship are unlocked. These fleet battles would be part of planetary conquest stuff, give fleet comms, drop decos, perhaps be pre-requisite for certain planet-side operations. PvP Battles: Some PVP Ideas: Raidable strongholds (flaggable on PvE servers, all the time on PvP) and boardable guildships. linked to conquest and invasions, queued guilds could fight against other queued guilds for conquest points/decorations/trophys/bragging rights/fleet comms Perhaps the guild that conquers a planet with strongholds would get "control" of an open world version of that planet's stronghold. (The openworld version would look like thiers and be defended by NPCs from thier faction.) Guild V Guild duel-style Starfighter matches: guildship 1 and guildship 2 arrive in arena and begin launching starfighters, and 2-4 player-class ships. Objective for the starfighters is to protect the guildship from enemy attack, while providing escort for the player-class ships. the player class ships would follow preset space-on-rails style courses (or better to allow free-flight? the larger class ships would be slower than starfighters) to attack the enemy guildship. the two guildships would follow a preset course to broadside, circle the arena, or something similar. first guildship to explode loses. OPEN WORLD Space: guilds can take their guildships to open-world versions of space fleet battles zones. (?max number of guildships per instance? static standin for guildships in openworld?) players can fly starfighters or class ships (1 per class per guild) or take AI boarding craft (Taxi) to attack enemy-faction ships (NPC, pvp-flagged guild&player stuff), space stations, etc, inside or out.
  2. OK we actually have a number of interested guilds. For now, BROES is gonna go ahead and offer to host joint ops. I'ma talk to our core group about what day/night we wanna be on doing flashpoints waiting to see if anyone shows. (it will probably be friday or saturday to avoid conflicting with anyone else's 8man schedule). Also, I'm gonna start joining you guy's websites. please accept me. in the meantime, the custom chat channel stuff is case sensitive. password should be lowercase. I look forward to seeing you all more ingame.
  3. Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep's original 4 members have been together since first beta. how's that?
  4. I have PM'd you all in game with a custom chat channel name/password. I'm going to spend the weekend getting my guys into it, I'd love to see at least a few of your officers joining in. In the meantime, friend me! Caathrok is my main, my secondary is Taeron.
  5. I will assume we all are to some extent. I PM'd you. Want to keep this thread on track.
  6. currently BROES *tries* to raid saturday nights, but we're flexible... different days, different availabilities. especially if we can find good partner guilds to work with
  7. Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep is always recruiting. I am currently attempting to organize a multi-guild raid organization to make it easier to do true casual play and still be able to have set raid times. We go through ups (where we have extra people show up for 2 raids a week) and downs (where it's me, the GM and his wife), but are overall active and friendly. Feel free to contact me ingame (my primary alt is Taeron, otherwise I'm usually on Caathrok) or seek out our GM Kaspr. website is in my signature.
  8. Guild Name: IMP: Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep / PUB: Cowboys from Hell Faction: Empire & Republic Focus: Casual, PvE, PvP, Crafting Website: BROES.guildlaunch.com
  9. Well friends, here's the long and short: My guild is casual-play. None of us can guarantee to show up for 2-4 raids a week, we have lives and jobs (mostly conflicting schedules too, ugh!) For the last month, we've had trouble managing 1 raid a week due to, well, real life. However, even so, we still have 3 players who CAN commit to a weekly schedule (at the moment at least), and another 10-12 who cannot but usually make 2-4 raids a month. I have seen other casual/semi-casual guilds and smaller raiding guilds having similar issues. My plan is this: Form an alliance of multiple guilds, several casual/semi-casual, maybe some smaller "raiding" guilds, thus creating a pool of trusted players for the raiding guilds, while expanding the ability of the casual guilds to offer raiding options. Also would provide alternate raid leadership so no one burns out trying to lead. We would then Set 1 or 2 weekly raidtimes, person(s) to contact for each guild and an out-of-the-way but convenient location to meet ingame. We can even make use of my guild's website (I paid for all the features from guildlaunch) to facilitate communication and organization beyond what can be done in game or on these forums. EMPIRE-SIDE, cause right now we ain't got crap for pub-side raiding. Most of our pub-alts in our pub-guild are sub-50. I want to hear from you if you are an officer or leader of: 1) An active social/casual guild with members who'd like to raid, but cannot commit to a full-time or part-time raiding guild. 2) A semi-casual (less than 3 week inactivity limit) guild that's attempting to raid on a regular basis. 3) A full/part-time raiding guild that's struggling to find regular raiders for set weekly raids. 4) A Solo player looking to get into end-game content, but not willing to leave his current guild. If interested please contact me either via PM or in this thread, Visit us @ BROES.GUILDLAUNCH.COM (Public Discussion Thread), on our STEAM page, or contact me ingame (my main chars Caathrok or Taeron). More Information: The Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep is a casual/social guild/gaming community that runs semi-regular optional weekend raids, offers a friendly atmosphere, pub-side guild, website/vent. It is composed primarily of adults 21+ with jobs and families and changing schedules who enjoy the game. Our members play for fun, and when online can often be found running HMs, leveling alt characters, helping each other and random players they run into or sometimes trolling children in general chat. The officers/leadership have played MMOs of all types including Ultima Online, EQ, Tribes1/2, WoW, Planetside1/2, FFXI, Star Wars: Galaxies, and Eve Online to name the big ones. They have experience leading both casual and raiding guilds, and have been part of Star Wars: The Old Republic since the earliest beta.
  10. The Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep is a casual-play guild. We have an active 8man ops group, and are building our second group for 16man. We are looking for a tank and 1-2 healers to do once-twice weekly 8man/18man ops. Currently we raid on Saturday Night (7/8pm-11/12pm). You don't need experience or awesome gear, we will help you with both. Multiple characters are accepted! We offer Vent and also have a Republic-alt guild. Respond here or PM me.
  11. You sound like a perfect fit for my guild. I PM'd you.
  12. The Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep is a small (a mere 55ish qualifying accounts) casual/social Empire guild that is working on breaking into PvE Ops. (And eventually establishing a Republic counterpart.) We also have an active group of PvP players in the 10-29 and 30-54 brackets. We have our heaviest activity between 3 and 10pm EST. However, there is almost always at least 3 players online, usually 6-9. Currently we are recruiting all levels and classes, as well as accepting Free-to-Play. Once lvl 53, the guild can assist you in gearing up for HM content. We are mostly 21+ players, with jobs and houses and bills and other responsibilities so we understand Real Life comes first. So if you are interested in joining a guild with a more laid-back atmosphere but still having the option to do ops, check us out (broes.guildlaunch.com). We are friendly, and don't bite! (Mostly)
