  1. I am sure it's been posted but I could not find it. Can we please fix the bug that excludes some players from the ops groups in the WZs? I play a healer and it is very difficult to ensure that people not immediately around me are "healthy" without seeing them in ops. At least make it so the ops leader can invite them to the group. Also, would be nice if the ops leader could pass leadership to another player. Again, as a healer, I don't often have time to find and mark the healers in the opposing group. If I could pass leadership to another player, it would be helpful. Thank you
  2. I copied this over from another post because I want to get some feedback. The original thread was about faction vs faction WZs, but DarthRage raised an interesting point and I expanded on it below his quote. Quote: Originally Posted by DarthxRage No and they should allow same faction open world pvp. I'm tired of some little chump talking crap because I can't police him myself via pvp. For instance, if I am a light jedi, let me team up with a light imp to kills some dark jedis and imps in open world and WZs. Would make the entire universe far more interesting, and make the choice of light/dark meaningful. As it stands, the light/dark choice seems to do nothing more than change your personal story line. It would also help end the population balance issues we see on some servers since you could essentially group with whichever light/dark faction you prefer for open world. For WZs, you would have to choose your side so to speak. Choose to fight as a imp/jedi or light/dark to prevent double crossing, but in open world, you could fight along side whomever you want. It would also make switching light/dark factions to group up with/against certain players or guilds more common. Ever changing story line, ever changing battles. Thoughts?

  4. This happens to me sometimes just because of timing. Sometimes I am targeting someone for a heal and they are healed by another player first, my heal still goes off and they are "healed" at full health. Most of the time, I try to interrupt the heal in progress, but cannot always stop the spell. It also can happen because of lag. There can be a slight UI lag in the WZs (at least for me). If I am healing people, the UI may show a deficit where the bar above their heads does not. (And I personally favor using the ops frames in general because of the difficulty I have targeting a specific person's hit box when there is a large group of people fighting.) To be safe, I always heal the deficit I see in the UI - just in case. This too can result in over healing.
  5. It's not so much taking things personally, I would just prefer not to have to play against my own team so to speak. Here's another simple reason: my own faction knows I am a healer. They see my name = insta targeting. Since I PvP all the time (I hate PvE), it makes it far too easy to identify the healers/prime targets in the mix. Sure I know a lot of the imps names that heal, but when it's a faction on faction fight, imo it removes some of the challenge.
  6. Too many healers in a WZ usually means a shortfall on DPS and a loss.
  7. So far, I love the new UI options in 1.2. I only have one request, can we please add an option for increasing the size of the health/force bars without using the overall scale? I would prefer to set up my groups/targets etc with smaller overall frames but with health bars that were larger (or fatter) so that I can more easily see the health and text. Right now, all I can do it increase the scale which increases the entire frame. I want to set the overall frame size but scale the bars height/width within the frame itself. Hope this makes sense.
  8. I just want the ability to opt-out of faction based PvP. My reason has nothing to do with my guild, it's just I personally find it irritating. I play a sage and the last thing I want to do in this WZ is heal the jerk who would not get off of me in the last one - particularly if he is talking smack the entire time. Personally, I would prefer an option when queueing that would let me opt-out of faction to faction play. Then the folks that do not mind endless games of hutball against their own side can continue to do so, and those of us who find it frustrating can concentrate on defeating enemies rather than friends.
