Hello guys, I am currently playing on Star Forge and noticed even during prime time queues are quite slow for the amount of people playing on the server. After talking to some people on the fleet, many seem to agree this is due to the huge portion of RP players on Star Forge. Some suggested that even with lower population on Satele Shan, the pvp and pve queues pop a lot more often. Can anyone confirm this is the case ?

I see, perhaps the posts I read about the gear dependancy we're outdated. I didn't check the date exactly. Sounds like I can stick with my original plan of going tank assassin after all.

Hello, I just returned recently and made it to 70 with my juggernaut (leveld as DPS). Now I am currently in the process of getting a assassin to max lvl. He was supposed to be my tank. After some reading it seems assassins are the most gear depandent of the 3 and juggs seem to be in a good place. Now I can't decide if I should lvl my assassin as dps and keep him that way and make my jugg a tank or go with what I had planned. Any suggestions or insights on this are appreciated.

Hey guys, so I am about to finish my JK class story. Before my last hiatus from the game I played pretty much all the story lines like Makeb, Oricon Yavin etc etc. up until like Chapter 8 of KOTFE. Now I came back and I am wondering. Do I NEED to do Makeb, Oricon and all that stuff again or could I just go and start KOTFE straight away since I more or less remember the main plot lines from the pre KOTFE expansions. Would I be missing out on anything ? Thanks in advance

I feel ya, I was just wondering if only class quests (maybe with legacy xp boost) and pvp / grp content would suffice xp wise to get me to KOTET level. I remember during double XP events I used to only do class quests and that was more then enough to lvl to endgame.

Hello people, I just recently returned to the game and subbed as well. Now here is my situation: I played all of the class stories (some several times, becides the Smuggler) and I wanted to start "from scratch" by deleting all character I had before (silly isn't it ? ). After starting on a Sith Warrior, I realised I couldnt get myself to doing Alderaan, Voss, Tattoine and all the other looong and boring Planets. So my question is, since there is no double XP time coming for a bit now. What would be a decent way to lvl by only doing Class Quests ? Class Quests + PVP and or Flashpoints in between would be what I figured. Anyone else have any ideas ?

It works ! I made a lvl 60 Vanguard with it. Didn't play him at all becides log onto it. Sent the gear to another char on Imp side (note that in case you send the gear to the other faction the looks of the gear will be converted, i.e. meaning the Vanguard gear ended up looking like Powertech gear) Then deleted the 60 Vanguard ( did not cross lvl 61 ) and I was able to make a new lvl 60 Sorc. So in short, yes you can delete and redo a lvl 60 char as long as you dont cross lvl 61. And you can send gear around but the looks will change if you send it to another faction. Hope that helped !

I had some of those times on my Commando. Played him as a Soldier who would always follow his orders and get the job done, using any chance to strike a blow at the Empire no matter if it was light or dark side. After I finished the Story I actualy looked back and asked myself were all those sacrafices I made to defeat the Empire realy worth it. Sign of awsome story telling well done BW

Is it really that needed to pre craft mods etc for the toons ? I was wondering how Is it going to be with this double XP arent we gonna over lvl everything by quite alot ? I already tend to do that without any XP boosts (becides the comsumable ones) And usualy I start on Coruscant at about 14-15.

Hey ppl. I got a problem with my SWTOR launcher since the latest patch was released. When I try to start the launcher it downloads the patch 512 mbs if im not mistaking and then once it tries to install the patch it always gets stuck at installing main assets 119 13%. After a while my PC just crashes and restarts itself giving me a error message saying it had a bluescreen. I never had any issues before with this game like this and it just started after the last patch. Anyone here got the same issue or can give me any advice what I could do ? thanks in advance !

No way in hell would I continue playing this game if they gave it to Funcom. I played Age of Conan for 4 years and I played it very hardcore. In all its flaws it was a awsome game but I have never seen a company with more issues then Funcom, there game is the laggiest buggiest and most non supported ( by that I mean supported by devs) game Ive ever played wich in the end made me quit AoC for good because I couldnt bear seeing what that company did to the game. There entire mentality is just no good for MMOs so please dont ever do some dumb **** like that o.O

I wasnt saying youre wrong when saying Assassin tanks sucks at that lvl. I just said that I didnt feel squishy at all, I never played PT or Jugg tank spec (got both at 50 tho) but I dont think I ever went close to dieing during a FP or a Heroic unless ppl did stupid things like pull **** loads of mobs or so.

I lvled my Assassin straight from 10-42 now with darkness from the start. I had no issues at all, I was kind of surprised about it actualy. My DPS seemed comparable to my PTs wich I lvl Pyrotech so DPS was awsome for the fact I was tank specced and in full tank gear aswell. I had Khem suited in DPS stance and gear with taunts turned on so he could offtank a bit. Replaced him with Andronikus when I got him and Andronikus with Ashara tho. Works like a charm downtime isnt that bad either once you get Harnessed Darkness for some more self healing. Been thinking about using Talos once I get him wich is soon. But Ill see when I get there. So from my experience I realy enjoyed playing and lvling as a tank (even tho I was realy scared it might suck big time ) Havent tried Deception yet will do once I hit 50 for pvp. Id say hang in there tbh but if you realy find it so boring wait until you ding 35+ and can start getting points in Harnessed Darkness. And the fact that you get GF queue pops almost instantly as you sign is just a small but imo big bonus PS: I didnt feel squishy at all tbh and I tanked all FPs so far maybe youre healers sucked ?

Read somewhere that the gear you get/have atm will NOT be useless when Rise of the Huttcartel comes. Most likely it will be at 55 in case they add a new OPS or anything but that wouldnt matter as thats the way MMOs always go So I wouldnt be to worried if I were you !
