  1. Yeah, I know it's a terrible reason and I'm being petty and ************ on the forums. But you know what? It makes me feel better.
  2. All of you seem to be repeating the same things. WHICH by the way, I already STATED in my post. I KNOW they said it beforehand and this is mostly my own fault. I still stand by the idea that they should have given a little more warning. I KNOW I am not the only person who has found it hard to find a reason to log on for the past month or two. If you weren't logging on you had no warning that 1.2 was coming out Tuesday. If you have nothing new to say just let the thread die. I've already given up on the crystals and canceled my subscription. I know it's a dumb reason but I just can't stop feeling ****** about missing them any time I start up my launcher. This was just to give some feedback.
  3. 2 days is short, more so for someone who hasn't logged in for about a month due to the fact that basically all my raid members and friends have quit. I actually stuck with the game through the lull, all im saying is i wish they woulda shot an email maybe a week beforehand? A lot of other games do this with limited time events something along the lines of "this is your last chance blah blah blah" I already acknowledged that they told us way beforehand, I was just saying the implementation was rather abrupt IMO. 2 days is not a long time. not in a mmo. not when everyone you know has moved on and your only source of info is you checking the site, which doesn't happen often when you aren't playing. I'm just pointing out, next time they have something like this they should give a proper warning before they remove things from the game entirely.
  4. OK I'll preface my whine by saying I understand there was indication beforehand that they were being removed in 1.2 But here's my problem. I feel like I was not given any proper warning of when this would be. I saved up quite alot of money to get the special speeders and crystals. But i was trying to decide which character to get them on and with the decline in guild/friends logging on I found myself not logging on for the past few weeks. So now I lost out on something I could have afforded. Sadly this has killed all my enthusiasm for 1.2 and again, I know this was my own fault. But is a little warning too much to ask?
  5. i think we should also get rid of 10 and 25 kills, as well as solo kill and killing blow (as they support a type of game-play that doesn't win games), and the 2.5k dmg/heal and 5k dmg/heal as those are only achievable by certain classes and require no skill or smart play, just the right class and gear (also 5k heal usually requires you to pop cooldowns while not having the trauma buff usually resulting in healers just standing in a firepit or whathave you and burning all their cooldowns just to get them) instead they should reiterate the damage/healing count to replace these medals maybe 20k 50k 100k 175K 250K 300K 400k and 500K EDIT: this also would diminish the need for healers to spec hybrid to get their heal medals and dps medals, cause healing is not only a thankless job in WZs it also has far fewer medals than dps. rewarding a dps zerg over people who actually spec heals is a bad thing in my opinion personally i specced dps on my sorc instead of heals cause of this even though i REALLY wanted to be heals, and most people i played with wanted me to heal also but why should i get half the rewards everyone else gets when i make the difference between a win and a loss.
