I had the same problem a few days ago., Here's how I resolved it: Ignore the error popup (do not click on it) and log into one of your toons. Log back out. Log into another toon (still ignoring the popup). Log back out. Close game with the Quit function on the character select screen (still ignoring and NOT clicking on the popup). Relaunch the game. Popup was gone after a very small file install.

Exactly the same issue for me. Saw a download (post 7.2b) then started game but got the version-server mismatch error popup like others did. Did what Icebluz suggested and was able to enter the game. Tried logging to another character and the same error popup was still present on the character select screen, but was able to log back in on a different character. Quit the game through normal quit function (still ignoring the error popup). When restarting the game this time, it downloaded something again (smaller file this time) and now all seems fine. No popup anymore, and login is normal. Definitely do what Icebluz suggested, then try logging out (ignore the popup the whole time). Worked for me anyway. This it doesn't appear to be a "personal" or one-off computer/login issue like Nee-Elder suggested. It seems to have more to do with a partial or incomplete download/install of a few files (post 7.2b), that many people are experiencing.

And now the Satele Shan server just went down too... At least on my server select screen it did.

This is an issue that prevents people from playing the new content... I would think they would do an emergency patch mid-week for something like this... Apparently their subscribers really aren't very high on their concern list if they are waiting for a weekly Tuesday patch for this content-breaking bug...

Unable to complete the solo-story after defeating Malgus on Commando. Same message that it wants me to abandon sufficient missions in my log but I only have 2 other (speeder) missions active. This is only happening since 7.2 dropped. I was able to complete the flashpoint on my Imp sniper...

Have been really happy with this guild since I joined, quite a while ago. They have structure and organized events, which are two things that ensure longevity for anyone who loves this game.

Why did they even do this??? They created a huge mess out of a system that was working.. Now their fixes are creating even more confusion and work for themselves. Stop fixing things that aren't broken!!! Set bonuses worked just fine before when a new tier of armor came out.. They already have a skeleton crew on this game and they are making needless changes that screw things up??? ***?

Anyone have the Imeprial Korrealis KL-9Z-SE? Apparently drops from Assault on Tython.Korriban FPs. Is it rare? Have never seen one on GTN.

This has been happening to me as well. I have Win10Pro and the game randomly just dumps and crashes to desktop, or even on occasion reboots... Not convinced it is a swtor problem though... I suspect Win10 since my other systems that I play swtor on (Win7 and Win10 upgrade) don't have this issue. Each time it crashes to desktop the Windows error screen gives a different error. None are the same error twice... Most recently got a "Kmode exception not handled" error which is some sort of driver fault or possibly a RAM issue...

Not sure that will work... I play on two separate systems in two different states at various times during the week... My keybindings have never transferred between the two systems and every time I have had to reinstall the game (a couple times since beta), I have had to recreate my keybindings on that individual machine... I have tried to do exacltly what you proposed and I've not had success.. But... maybe someone else will... granted one of my machines is Win7 (upgraded from XP) and one is Win10 (upgraded from Win7), so maybe in some weird way that has an effect.

Get over yourself. BW screwed the pooch royally with a miniscule launcher patch.. They should be rightly called out for their unprofessionalism by their paying player base.

Well done BW... Let me guess- you didn't bother to validate this patch in any way before you rolled it out to the community?
