  1. A few additional aspects to the bug. After extensive testing, this is what I found: Two cloaks will only work on a shadow / assassin that is an original advanced combat spec (it will never work on the secondary), but for this to hold true the shadow must coincide with the Jedi Consular story. Likewise the Assassin must coincide with the Sith Inquisitor story. For example, I wanted to play an assassin on the republic side so I created a new character in the Jedi Consular story arc that was a Sith Assassin as an original combat class. I leveled it to 80 only to find that two cloaks would not work. I then created a new character under Jedi Consular, this time as a shadow instead of assassin, and it worked just fine. Similarly, if you make a new character under the Sith Warrior story, but chose assassin as its original combat class, the two cloaks still wont work.
  2. I still am very much in favor of this and think its a great idea. I am just not in favor of ME having to do it all the time It got to be too much work for me, on top of leading a guild, leading the team ect... I would like to see someone else take this on for us though. I will bring it up tomorrow and try to sucker someone into it
  3. Your about a year too late on this post. Nice try.

  5. I agree completely and I think this speaks to the point of why you just go by guild tag and not composition: simplification. To do otherwise is asking a lot of those that are trying to track this stuff for us and raises too much potential for debate. No no, that game doesn't count because we knowingly decided to take a pug or an alt or someone off the bench because the A team guy was sick today. Ok fine, you made that choice, but you don't get to say that the game doesn't count. Nobody here is saying don't recruit friends to your guild, and nobody is saying only run the same 8 all the time. Ubique rarely gets to do the exact same 8 because of conflicting schedules. Nothing we can do about it, but at the same time, I don't think it would be fair of us to say half our games don't count because we couldn't Q with our favorite 8.
  6. We usually do not stream and when we do its not made available to the public. I do not think Casual streams either.
  7. Always interesting to hear another teams perspective compared to our own. I can tell you that we certainly do not feel like we have novare down when the game is happening. Its a lot of intense running around like fools to try to pull something out of our assses!

  10. We thought you guys did quite well, even despite the loses.
  11. Bah, im sure one of them can post here to confirm that were not BSing. While im here, has anyone else had problems taking an SS after a game? I only managed to get one myself, the rest of them came from other guild members. I kept spamming the print screen over and over and it just would not generate an SS for me. Then, I get out of the game, and like magic, I can take SS again.

  13. I say at this point, let the scoreboards speak for themselves and go from there. As far as DCs go. It happens to everyone often enough, sadly enough its part of the game. I say a DC win is still a legit win. Have the same standard apply to everyone across the board. That way no arguments about what DC counts and not. Otherwise everyone will just debate about when a DC is relevant (3/4 of the game? 1/2? ect...)
  14. This is true, we have not beaten them yet.
  15. Are you honestly saying that you need a macro to respec? And your calling other people bad? As a merc I have to respec mid game on a few maps and I have just enough time to go through the respec, fix my bars and change my gear. All without a macro. Watch some streams, you will see other guys doing it too. The notion of requiring a macro to respec is laughable. As for huttball macros. I'm with you there. I cannot tell you how many times we have failed to get a ball because another team is all running macros. And to be honest, I have tried to get my team to do the same, and I failed. A lot of guys just wont do it. So whats the alternative? You dominate and control mid. If there is nobody from the other team mid, a macro wont help them. That's what we did to you in huttball in case you didn't notice. You want to talk about being farmed. We savaged you guys mid. The last night we beat you guys in that huttball, we played Legends B team right afterwards. And truth be told, their B team was much harder to beat in that huttball then you guys were. Your double sorc dps comp simply does not lend itself well to the brute force dps strategy that you are advocating for. Your just way too easy to kill man. You and Komissar go down extremely fast. You need another ranged class in there to mitigate that. Furthermore, even trying to use one sorc dps has many implications for a team. Even if you do not die outright, your output and purpose for existing can be easily taken away from you if you do not have a whole of team approach to managing sorc dps. In my humble opinion, the only team to have done that well was Legend's A team. That is why they were so successful. They enabled Mudclot to do his job. There are no pve wins in ranked wz games my friend. Besides, if a bunch of pve'ers are able to beat a ranked wz team, what does that say about you?
  16. So objectives in rateds don't matter? Your being a clown man. We beat you 3-1 straight up, for now, were the better team. Maybe that will change, and maybe a few weeks from now the record will be different, who is to say. But right now we beat you more then you beat us.
  17. I am now convinced that these lists are nothing but popularity contests. We have a 3 - 1 record against Pkers, The one time we played Watchmen we blasted them And we have traded wins infinite darkness numerous times.
  18. Nothing wrong with merc dps at all. I run arsenal for rateds on mine and do just fine. There are those out there that still think mercs are gimped but they are badly mistaken. Just play what you like to play, the rest will work itself out.
  19. Howdy folks, Ubique has an opening for an Op Healer to come join our rated team. We do not have the luxury of developing someone green who has no experience unfortunately. We need someone with experience running rateds as an Op healer. If you are interested please contact me in game on Taurelz. Cheers
  20. Yes, we did manage to beat them once before they left. That was as they were on their way out, and Foundation Stone was coming into its own. That was the era where we went on to dominate most teams, if only for a short time before we came to an end. It just goes to show you the huge learning curves that most teams had ahead of them back then.
  21. I stand by what I said before. I do not believe the competition was nearly as strong back then, than it is now. Your video is case in point. The Foundation Stone of that era was just plain awful, led by a noob (me). I didn't know the first thing about how to run a ranked game back then. Hell, I was running a smash spec sent in that video! That was before someone taped me on the shoulder and said "ahem, combat...." lol. We/I simply were not ready. We did up our game some months later and became one of the better teams out there. But you guys had long since left. Who would have won then? I honestly don't think that question can be answered now. But I digress... as bad as we were in the very early days when you guys were around, we still won the vast majority of our games. This was a team that didn't believe in tanks, refused to put a sin on an off node because of the personalities involved ect... and yet we still won most games. What does that tell you about the competition? The lower ranking teams on the list in the first post here would likely beat most of the rated community back then. There were indeed teams like yours that did better then others, no doubt. But honestly, if my Foundation Stone team in that video played my Ubique team today, we would absolutely crush them. The competition now, is just so much higher. Not because there are greater amounts of good teams, but rather, the small amounts of teams that do in fact still play have had to adapt and keep upping their game, change their roster, rethink strats ect.. to stay relevant. You guys quit way before any of that could take place and it is such a shame. Because now you will never know if that team could compete with the stronger teams out there now. Also, one more parting note: If the competition was just oh so amazing back then, why did you all leave? As I recall more than one member of your guild made posts complaining about the lack of competition and lack of skill in SWTOR at the time, about how bored you all were ect... That just doesn't not add up with the comments you are making now. You were bored because there wasn't anyone around at that time that could compete with you. Things have changed my friend. I fully encourage you to get your team in here and start Qing. You will lose more games then before, and you will have a lot more fun. And so will the rest of us.
