Yes, the sorting options definitely seem to be buggy/broken. Trying to sort by usable doesn't work at all. It doesn't filter out by level, armor type, or weapon type.

I imagine they will have some way to transfer characters to other servers for a fee sometime in the future. But no such feature currently exists and it will likely be a long time. You can still roll a new character on your friend's server, even if it's "full". That just means there may currently be a queue time, not they are blocking new character creation.

I got an email response from customer service today and they said that my CE won't ship until the 23rd. They *claim* the "publisher" won't allow them to ship CEs, before they 20th, though they are apparently allowed to ship SEs in time to arrive by the 20th.

Nope, nothing like that. Just running around and trying to do some crafting on the go. Whenever my companion came back with a crafted item, I'd go into my Inventory to RE it and it seems like there's about a 50/50 chance the RE button is actually there. It seems to go in streaks. I RE several items in a row after crafting them then all the sudden it's gone and I have to wait until I've crafted more stuff or done a few quests before it will magically reappear again.

The only answer seems to be patience. It seems to reappear eventually. At least it has for me several times now.

Nope. And it's disappeared again. This is so frustrating!

Well, it's mysteriously back now.

So, I learned Armortech, did a bit of RE-ing, then ran Esselles. After leaving Esselles and returning to the Republic Fleet, the Reverse Engineering button is missing from my inventory pane. Has this happened to anyone else? I can't figure out how to fix it. I've tried reloading the UI and relogging.

You can upgrade to the CE at any time. If you haven't entered your product key for the standard edition, you can cancel or return your order. If you have entered your product key, then you will still be able to enter the product key for your CE as well, but you will "lose" the money you spent on you SE. Stephen Reid has, however, said that the 30 days of "free" game time does "stack", so you're really only out $45 for your SE, not $60. BTW, product key =/= pre-order code. I'm talking about the actual CD Key/Game Code you get in your box or in an email from Origin, if you ordered the digital version.

I don't hate the graphics. I just think it's frustrating that my only texture options are "Low" and "Medium". I get that MMO's need to have lesser graphics overall to cater to the lowest-common-denominator. That doesn't bother me. But why have an option in the settings for "High" textures and then not have it actually do anything?

When I manually switch my Texture option from Medium to High and click "Apply" or vice versa, nothing changes. The textures for Medium and High look exactly the same to me. If there's a difference, it must be incredibly subtle. I'm not talking about the Medium and High presets, I'm talking specifically about the Texture drop-down.

Hi-res textures are definitely still missing. When you switch between "Medium" and "High" in the settings, there is absolutely ZERO difference. Both settings are using the same textures. Really hope this gets updated quickly.

Anyone know if Twi'lek can wear helms/hats? I love the epic hats in the Jedi Consular Progression video, but I don't think they could work on a Twi'lek, which makes me sad, because I really wanted to roll a Twi'lek Consular Sage.

No, the Security Key vendor is different from the CE Vendor. The CE Vendor is still exclusive to CE owners.

Actually, that's even better, since CE owners get Security Keys included, then we can have TWO mouse druids! I take back all the bad things I said in my OP!

The VIP Lounge isn't listed as CE exclusive on the Pre-Order page. The only time it was ever referred to as potentially CE exclusive was in a developer chat, but nothing ever officially printed/posted. This is different.

EDIT: Ignore me! It seems it's a different mouse droid, in which case I'm quite happy that CE owners will get access to both. Um... why is the Mouse Droid available from the Security Key Vendor? We were led to believe that was exclusive to the CE based on this page: http://www.swtor.com/preorder I'm not going to cancel my CE over this or anything. It's just a vanity pet. But it seems kind of shady to promise exclusive items to CE buyers and then make them available to others. Who's to say that other CE exclusives won't show up on other vendors down the road? To the OP, yeah, I noticed the texture issue as well. There is no difference between "Medium" and "High" at all. I don't know if that's a bug, if the "High" textures are missing, or what.

What? When? Last I saw/heard they were planning to add macros post launch.
