    I disagree. I think BioWare needs to nerf scoundrel dps more. It's way too overpowered right now. I was in a civil war earlier and an entire team of operatives stun-lock opened on me and a friend and capped the snow node. ***. I am unsubbing until this gets fixed...
  1. As most people are already preparing to augment their entire set of gear tommorrow morning, I'm not completely sure I understand which augments I will need to be stacking. My friend that has played his Scrapper since launch has been playing on the PTS for the past 2 weeks. He has been swapping around cunning and power augments and finds power to be the more effective of the two. His reasoning is that you only need 1700 cunning. Now is the 1700 cunning softcap he is speaking of UNBUFFED or with my rakata skill stim? I have also heard that the soft cap for critical chance UNBUFFED is 30%. Although after talking to other friends, they are saying the softcap is MUCH higher for the two, and that the friend of mine on the PTS can't really be sure power is more effective.

     

    I'm going to post a screenshot here of my character sheet. I would REALLY appreciate any advice tips on my stats. I've bought the War Hero Field Tech Boots twice already and used the mod and enhancement in them to insert into my crit/surge gloves and crit/surge boots.

    <UPDATE>: My tech critical chance is sitting low at 27.9% Unbuffed, but once I buy the war hero implants my crit will easily be at 30%

    To the OP...the Pope kept bugging Michael Angelo about when was he going to be done with the painting on the Sisten Chapel and he got the same answer everytime..which was..."It will be done when it is done".

    And yeah. I pay 15$ a month. I can at least get some opinions of when people think 1.3 will drop. My friends were right about the date for 1.2 as well as the transfers weeks ahead of release, I just thought some people on here might have some clues to when it will launch.

  3. 1.2 was actually announced a week in advance and NOT the day before... I'm guessing the same.

     

    Weird. I guess myself and others were wrong then. Find me the post where they announced it a week in advance please. I'd really like to believe it, but I don't recall seeing an announcement.

     

    I'm hoping it's announced soon. Would probably stop all the complaints and trolling being posted every day on the forums.

  4. I'd like to know everyone's opinion on when THEY think 1.3 will be released. As for 1.2, it wasn't announced it was launching until the night before. I'm also pretty sure they like to do it on Tuesdays or Thursdays. So for possible dates I am considering: June 26, June 28, July 3, July 5, and July 10. July 10 being the latest. I really hope it will be out BEFORE July 4 but we will see. I'm told from a friend that works in a big corporation that it's common knowledge for companies to NOT launch things on a day before or after July 4, meaning June 26, June 28, or July 10 is more likely. So what's your opinion on the release date of 1.3?
  5. More people are rerolling scoundrel/operative from what I see. Back at the guild summit in early March, we were shown that only 3% of the game's population had a scoundrel. Now back at launch, the scoundrel could easily be considered overpowered, and I understand that the 20% nerf to our initial burst was needed to balance the class. Then the armor penetration nerf came along and the increased cooldown to Backblast from 7 to 12 seconds. The scoundrel takes much more skill and gear than it used to. This isn't another QQ thread--I just believe that Bioware needs to rethink it's decision on breaking our class.

    We need a gap closing ability desperately. If Bioware decides to nerf us again, I doubt anyone that is half-decent at pvp would want to reroll Scoundrel/Operative unless for healing. They finally realized while 1.2 was on the PTS that we were nerfed too hard, so they made Scoundrel healing the most op class in the game for pvp. Any good players in SWTOR--(I'm now on The Fatman, so there aren't many)--aren't joyed to hear i'm a Scrapper Scoundrel because it's nowhere close to being as useful as the Shadow/Assassin is.

    So please, give us a gap closer, or buff our damage by 5% or 10% to make us actually useful in Ranked Warzones here in 2 weeks, or I won't be playing this game for very long--which is very ironic after what George Z told us a while back: "If we leave the Operative the ability to stun lock and kill people — yes, there aren’t many Operatives — but over the long term, that means people will quit the game cause it’s not fun." Nerfing our class to oblivion will most definitely lose players, trust me. I could go on for days, but i'm going to end it right there. Thanks for your time guys.:)

  6. My biggest hit in wz's is about 4.5k or around there for most of my games.

     

    WH gear, and the enforcer set in general are dripping with Crit, and accuracy. Dropping a bunch of accuracy and crit mods for ones that have power, will start to pick that number up substantially.

     

    Im currently in step 3 of my buildout.

     

    Step 1: get fully decked out in WH gear

    Step 2: get augment slots, and fill them with the power mods.

    Step 3: Replace all crit/accuracy mods with power mods.

     

    Highest hit I have ever attained was on a BH I hit for 6047 with Shoot first, adrenal, and relic were popped. He must of been in level 40 pve gear and no points in damage redux is what Im thinking.

     

    I calculated it out on a guide I put up a while back, and I think the highest you could ever hit with a scrapper, is about 6700, with all your mods swapped out for power(or power/surge), and your sporting the best power relic and adrenal.

     

    I was going to go with cunning/endurance augments. Can you explain to me which is better?

    Lol i'm pretty mad about BioFail today too man, but you are tweeting them, they tweet you back, you tweet them again. Hell i've seen you so many times on SWTOR twitter your name stuck out. Impressive indeed.

  8. First off, Lol at the locked threads. I think everyone is finally getting the picture. SWTOR releases much earlier than it should have-->Game can only sustain people for a few months until they implement key systems-->BioWare fails to implement Ranked Warzones and pulls out at the last possible moment-->More talk about things releasing to encourage people to resub-->pull out at the last possible minute with free transfers. I mean wow guys. I've read a lot of stuff on these forums the past few months. You can tell when people are young and immature in their posts, but wow oh wow the lack of management with this game is shocking. I know companies only care about money, but this game brings it to a whole different level.
  9. Why does my post get closed, but this one does not? Why can't a CSR give me guild leadership when my GM has been inactive for 29 days. Oh wait I have to wait 2 days to get leadership. Which at that point I will be on a different server. Tried to explain this to a CSR but he just copy and pasted the same response 5 times. Personally, i'm fed up.
  10. suup khalif, i highly doubt we will get transfers to fatman, the idea is to essentially merge lower pop servers, even is a forum dev post saying we will not be able to transfer to already heavy servers. dunno where we will go but i was hoping to transfer today.

    Hey Mud, obviously you haven't been looking close enough to realize one of the most dead PVP East servers in the game was transfered to The Fatman at 9 am. The next several dead PVP East servers will be going to The Fatman or the second highest population PVP East one.

  11. Really you are QQ about that many people on at peak my server as maybe 20 people on imperial fleet at peak and 10 on republic. Even with that I am not QQ about my server not being on the list yet.

     

    Lol they aren't even 6 people TOTAL on the republic AND sith side on the Cho Mai. Dude i haven't seen 10 people on either fleet since April 12. Don't want to hear it lol.
