  1. No, it's brilliant. For once in a MMO, I'm not running up to some guy with a quest mark, hit accept without reading ANYTHING and just wait to see the objective on a quest tracker. And dont give me that ****, that you used to give different NPC's different voices in your head, that's just too far fetched.
  2. I can confirm, that you can indeed make money with Armstech - I suspect people are buying the weapons to arm their companions and not themself. Armstech has nothing for YOU though, and there is no benefit for a player who PVP's/does HM's/raids. As a result I dropped it, and swithced to Armormech, and I've got my Tier3 bracers+belt crafted - one of them critted, making them the best PvE bracers in the game hands down. Somthing that Armstech cannot offer in it's current state.
  3. Dumped Armstech yesterday and picked up Armormech instead, and already got my epic Rakata bracers/belt craftet. So glad I finally made the choise!
  4. I agree Armstech is horribly bad, but lets face it most professions are. Only two are in my opinion worth spending time on, and thats Biotech and armormech. Armormech can craft some seriously nice rakata gear (only belts/bracers, but equal to tier 3, and better if you crit it and get an augment), and biotech for obvious reasons (never-ending healingpots and never-ending stims/adrenals). I'm seriously considering dropping armsmech, even though I do earn a bit on GTN atm (when people have kitted out their companions, no one will buy supbar gear any more). Look up the schematics for armstech on torhead or any other datamining DB - there is NO raid drop schematics. AND the crap recipies we can buy from the trainer (Guardmaster for instance) requires 3 biometric crystal alloy to make! And its freakin worse than a tier 1 weapon!!! Oh I got worked up... Biochem use one biometric crystal alloy to make an non consume on use medpack/stim/adrenal...Armormech uses one biometric crystal alloy for their Epic rakata recipies. But Armstech has to use 3 on something that a tier 1 weapon will replace.
  5. Would be nice to see some official response to this one...
  6. Havent seen any in my raid groups, I honestly think they forgot to put them in. It's kinda funny with all the armormech skill 400 schematics there is on GTN, I've never seen a armstech there... Would be nice to know, if they were actually in the game...
  7. I also vote for no macros at all. I played Rift, and succumbed to one key spamming. Now, I have to think and move my fingers to the correct keybind, so much more fun! Yeah I know what you will say, "so dont use macro's!", well...the thing is, I will optimize if the possibility is there - because I want to be as effective as I can be. So I hope they wont implement macro's, and we all have to rely on skill.
  8. I disagree, it's great for knocking players out of stealth in PvP, when assassins realise they lost and try to flee by vanishing. ...and I can't target what I can't see, so your suggestion would make the skill worthless for me.
  9. You need to change to high velocity when you get the terminal velocity talent. The talent is needed to not overheat constantly
  10. Spending time in queue is hardly my idea of fun. I'm trying get baack to my friends on Tomb of Freedon nadd, I've waited 4 and a half hour so far, and still roughly 175 people in front of me...
  11. 25.th here and also waiting. I reckon whoever said 26/28 was trolling. I'm in!!!
