    Ryz consider changing the rules with the new dummies and class changes. My vote is set the health of the dummy to 1 million, no armor rend, fastest time gets recorded with DPS at the time of the kill.

    one thing would be: how would you know if they put an armor rend on it though?

    I looked at that parse really quick and something to try and change would be to not use strike in a armor pen window, saw you did that somewhere near your opener. something i've noticing that can probably raise your dps, not sure if its correct or not, but that if precision slash just proc'd and you need energy, build up to 4 focus (assuming you have blade storm off CD also) then use the precision slash at the same time as a dispatch ( .x's delay though to make sure its in the window) then blade storm, and through tree talents you should end up with 3 focus to use a blade rush. Also, i noticed early in the log where i noticed the strikes being used inside the armor pen window, you used precision slash at the start of a GCD, try and wait until maybe .1s before the GCD ends to use it and then use your rotation to maximize skills inside the window.

    Tearo is no longer maintaining his thread. so, for the time being, i will be taking over the DPS leaderboard thread. All logs must be uploaded to Torparse, other parser's are not permitted. The exact fight with the combat dummy must be linked to be eligible. If you wish to post your spec and gearing you may do so using Torhead for spec and AskMrRobot for both spec and gear.

     

    Rules:

    Must be a minimum of 300 seconds (5 minutes) in length total, even after any crops.

    Must be performed against the Operations Training Dummy champion. Either the fleet or the ship dummy are acceptable

    Only the end of the parse may be cropped. The "ramp up time" at the beginning cannot be cropped out.

    Must be performed without any external raid buffs (e.g. no armor debuff, Force in Balance/Death Field or Inspiration/Bloodthirst other than your own)

    You may use a stim of any variety

    For sentinels/marauders, at most one (1) Inspiration/Bloodthirst may be used

    Only two (2) adrenals may be used

    Activated relics may be used at most three (3) times

    Pre-parse proc'ing is not permitted. This is very easy to detect in a log.

    Out-of-combat buffing is permitted (e.g. any buff that can be gained without entering combat, for example Wrath, Followthrough, Barrage, Duplicity, among several others, and all of the mirrors all require combat to be gained, and are not allowed)

    Respecing for out of combat buffing is also permitted (e.g. an Operative specing Concealment for Acid Blade, applying the buff and then re-specing Lethality for the parse)

    Absolutely no use of the Nightmare Pilgrim buff (this is an external raid buff!)

    Full class buffs are permitted

    No elitism!

    The top 3 dps parses of each advanced class will be posted. Each parse will be linked to its torparse upload and associated with the corresponding DPS value and player name. Each parse is also associated with the spec which the player was using while parsing if that information was provided. Parse's that have broken links are subject to removal.
