[Changes to shielding recently ???]

All diseased event mobs have an initial plague barrier or something like that which shows up as a buff for them - what it does is it absorbs the very first damaging ability that lands, no matter what type of damage dealt.

[Can Assassin tanks get a threat buff?]

I've noticed the same.

For example I'd love for Wither to actually do its job... create a high amount of threat.

What BW thinks is a high amount and what assassin tanks actually NEED to generate are worlds apart.

 

Fix it.

 

edit: for example: Khem has a similar ability which has the same animation but heals him and me in addition to dealing damage and generating "a high amount of threat".

I have Khem in offensive stance, have guard on him and I pull with Wither. The instant Khem uses his AE ability, I lose aggro from the whole group. Every single time. Now remember Khem is in offensive stance, is NOT generating 100% extra threat and this still happens.

 

Something's wrong here, very wrong.
