The game appeared very dead to me until I finally decided to change servers and switched to the Fatman. Now there are three hundred people in fleet during prime time, and most planets have a humdred people leveling up. I really wish that Bioware would have tried to be pre-emptive and allowed transfers as I would have rather transferred than started from scratch. I really prefer Republic but am now Empire as I have already played the Republic stories multiple times. So, I am now level 30 on Fatman and have six toons, two 50s, 31, 20, and an 18 on a dead server. Checked in last night on my old Guild last night on the old server, 29 players in fleet and only eleven were 50s. Everyone standing around wishing they could do something. Bioware would have had my praise if they would have taken action on this earlier, as the dead servers will not recover. New players are not going to roll on a server where they fell like they are isolated and alone.

Fact: There are many servers at this time where once you reach 50 your options for game play are limited. Fact: When anyone request server transfers or the merging of servers they are bombarded by idiot responses such as - I play on that server and there were 250 people in fleet during peak; learn to play your class; join a guild; or my favorite, this game is sharded and it just looks like the world is empty and it just feels like you can not get enough 50s together at one time to run a op. Fact: The idiots mentioned above will post on this thread. Our guilds solution was to reroll on a heavy server. We were a Republic Guild, but we all have multiple alts so we decided to roll Empire (of course we are adding to imbalance) we planned it that way. If everyone who is on a low pop server will take the time to re roll Empire on a heavy server and played that toon we could bring back ques. These ques would finally shut the anti merge idiots up as they would be on the forums crying about how Bioware has to stop people from joining their server and ruining their fun. Also, playing on a heavy server this game is so much more enjoyable. Last night on The Fatman was able to find groups whenever I wanted, sold items on the exchange and there were actually people chatting on the chat. Here to stay Empire, until you allow me to enjoy the game until you make it enjoyable to return to my beloved Republic. Last 10:00 PM 300 people on fleet, The Fatman; old server 32.
