  1. The Force Unleashed 1&2. No other game made me feel more like a force user then those. Close second...any of the X-wing and Tie fighter games.
  2. I would be fine with this..... If they allow us to mount in space ports and orbital stations.
  3. Was about supporting the action, not granting permission.
  4. As often as you need to Bioware, to fix the bugs and add content. I agreed to the EULA. The first month was free anyways. 1500 penny's nets you guys 750 hours of unschedualed down time either way. I will not miss my $0.02 per hour that the servers are down.
  5. Check the links in my sig for more info and the main thread on this issue.
  6. I would take that info to the ability delay thread in my sig. Odds are the mods wi direct you to it and close this one.
  7. I think that's what some of us are doing. No this is not a standalone flight sim but it's two major game corps involved in this game. Based in th popularity of space combat and the comming changes perhaps this might spawn it's own game, reviving X-Wing vs Tie fighter space sims again.
  8. Wow, both of you need to calm down. Different opinions are different. Being spitefull won't help anyone.
  9. No one is forced to pvp, pve or do space missions. I for one can handle a bit more to deal with. The on/off rails could be an option as well.
  10. Not asking them to devote all the resources to this feature just the same ones they are already using to perhaps looking into free flight.
  11. 50 sage here, see it all the time. Steady ping and fps but ticks start at different times.
  12. I for one would be very happy with that!
  13. Does the current space combat add to the story at all? I do believe you can complete the class story without flying a single mission.
  14. Ok I'll go take a look, thanks. Like someone already said, dogfighting is a part of any flight combat but I do gather its not one you enjoy. That said no one is forced to pvp. Could be no different in this case. Outside of pvp I would still like the current missions to have the option to be off rails. In part for the freedom as well as finishing all objectives in half the time in the current incarnation, I could save some time by just flying to the jump location. As well I want to be clear that I do not thik space combat is broken, I would simply like a bit more out of it.
  15. Honest question here but umm any perticular one you're referring to? I also think with speed controll and group setting flying in circles would be less of an option.
  16. Folks, are we actually going to talk about the merits of both or just argue over who knows what the community wants? I believe free form is a fantastic idea, but I also feel that having the OPTION to run the missions on rails should remain. Flying the current mission in free form could be done by adding a similar map system that was in X-wing vs Tie fighter. The boundaries already exist in game as well. You can see it when you get close to one of them and your turbo laser fire does not tavel as far. Ten seconds out of bounds and you fail the mission. A floating waypoint to go to when you are done all objectives, to go into light speed and exit.
  17. Well I for one am not going to try to speak for anyone but myself. That said, I would like a full free flying space combat. Group missions And pvp space combat. Should this be a priority? Nahh, but would still be nice to see sometimes in the future,
  18. What a tantrum you have going on.
  19. I for one welcome patch times no matter when they occur. I enjoy my game more when things are fixed and working as intended.
  20. Yes this old topic.... Slicing rewards need to be adjusted upwards a touch. No I'm not talking slicing 1.0 but a slight boost to what it is now. The problem is that right now, you can successfully complete a mission and actually lose credits. A successful completion should always have a gain of some kind, 100, 200, heck 10 but something. All I know is completing a mission and losing 500 credits or more feels a bit silly.
  21. Xcore Great video and thanks again for all your work with this major issue.
  22. That is the most frustrating way to die. This problem only emphasizes itself more during those clutch moments.
