  1. This is exactly what I want to know. I've had my smuggler sitting waiting to choose my ac and I just can't choose. Scrapper definitely looks like a lot of fun and I do like the idea of having a healing tree but I also like the fact that there are multiple play styles for gunslinger. My two questions about the class. How mobile is it PvP wise and how different do the three trees play?
  2. Leaning towards gunslinger I think. In every other MMO I've ever played I usually end up playing a healer. I like the thought of healing but I feel like in the end depending on the game its mostly about staring at health bars or using extensive addons. I'll be honest though scrapper looks like a lot of fun, very mobile. How different are the 3 different gunslinger playstyles? I know sharpshooter is mostly single target, sab is AoE and dirty fighting is DoT but as far as PvP how different do they play?
  3. Still so on the fence about this. I really wish that scoundrel had a ranged DPS option, or that gunslinger had a melee option. I do like the fact that the scoundrel has a healing option but it isn't a deal breaker. How different do the gunslinger playstyles feel?
  4. Hey guys. I know there about a thousand threads similar to this topic but I couldn't really find one that really mentioned and in depth description for all three talent trees for each AC. I'm having a really hard time picking between scoundrel and gunslinger. Now I do want my main to be a DPS however I do sort of like the idea of having versatility so the healing tree in the scoundrel AC does interest me. Not to make this another WoW comparison but my main in WoW was a shaman. I loved the fact that it had a healing tree along with 2 DPS trees that had very different playstyles (caster DPS and a hybrid melee DPS). Now I definitely prefer ranged DPS over melee DPS classes. From what I've read and from the videos I've watched scrapper is more of a melee burst DPS class and dirty fighting scoundrel is a melee DoT class. I've had a harder time figuring out gunslinger. I know that 2 of the 3 specs rely heavily on cover but I'm slightly confused as to the different playstyles. Dirty fighting from what I've read is a fairly mobile DoT DPS class. What about sabatour and sharpshooting? Are the playstyles really different or are they similjar? Lastly I'm kind of a sucker for flashy animations. This obviously isn't nearly as important as gameplay but does have a little impact on my choice. I'll be honest if I choose scoundrel I'll probably play as scrapper. Scrapper from the videos I've watched have some of the most boring animations as most of their close ranged abilities are merely punches. Gunslinger from what I've seen uses abilities with much flashier animations as most of the abilities are shots and explosives. Anyways thanks for any feedback.
