PoT5 There are alot of top shelf pilots to mention, just a few are Scrab Is'pep Kegger Keeneye

I read this statement in another post and really thought this could be an intresting concept , I think it would be alot of fun to have a match that is linked to PVP ground fights , lets say the Pilots are flying around dogfighting above multiple ground objectives , but of course the starfighters cant touch the objectives unless the ground team is able to lower shields on it. Then let the Carnage begin. Or being able to strafe ground PVP'ers on a high speed pass with our blasters if they fight out in the open.

I think the big portion of this that everyone is missing in regards to "Evasion" is how long it last. With a fully upgraded Distortion field you have a choice to increase from the starting 3 seconds to an additional 3 seconds. ( GRAND TOTAL 6 sec. ) and if the NAME evasion doesnt work for you, perhaps they should rename it to Frequency shift ( matching your lasers frequency for 6 sec.) What Im seeing is people dont want to have to make a tactical retreat or just fly around the corner and wait for the effect to wear off. ( There are visuals and also you can see the buffs on the target window) People would rather get upset because they got a good solid line up on the target and didnt watch the visuals or buff windows. Lets not just pick on evasion either, What does everyone think about the Sting ability to 1 shot someone ( Pretty lame IMO) I can be at full sheilds , hull and POP my evasion , I've had a sting fly right in and stop almost on top of me, and BOOM insta death . (and no the times Im refering to there were no Gunships around) I can only assume its the Burst Cannons at close range , with Overcharge

I love my Blackbolt !!! Its my main class ship and I can go Toe to Toe with any other ship out there, its all in how you set it up. The only times that I cant down a Gunship is if they hit me with that ION crap and leave me as a sitting duck.

HAHA , Mae'thon Im sure I owe you a few missles too already We do have a great bunch on our server , which makes it all the more fun...

I do in most cases just go after who ever might be close by, Unless I see a familiar name that I know will dominate unless he/she has the pressure on them the entire match.

I've noticed my KILL ON SIGHT list seems to be growing quickly this past week. My compliments to all the great pilots out there , this game is becomming very addictive.

If people are concerned about someone stopping in one spot and using the Evasion ability , why not fly past them and let them burn their cooldown on evasion, then return 20 sec. later to fight it out? Its all a matter of timing and using your abilitys in the proper moment.
