Are you on PVE or a PVP server? If PVP server then get used to it, you'll always be flagged while questing in most areas. If PVE server then wait 5 minutes and it goes away, avoid aiding pvp flagged players (if players are flagged for pvp their name is green, if they're not it's blue)

You can buy 50 gear for classic commendations on the fleet but that's PVE only. And by the way.. when you reach level 55, you don't get armor gift, you'll have to farm commendations and buy it yourself.

Same happens to me, I'm playing gunslinger and when I start a combat with aimed shot and charged burst my companion just doesn't attack until I either use non-cover ability or I get hit by the enemy. Example: I go into cover 28m from 4 enemies, I hit aimed shot followed by a instant charged burst and a trickshot and it's not until 1 of the enemies hit me with a ranged or melee attack or I use a non-cover attack that my companion moves to attack the enemies. I bind companion attack to T on all my characters so I just hit T at the same time I channel aimed shot so it's not a problem exactly when you've grown used to it.

I'm not sure but did you order the expansion before january 7th? if not then that's the reason why you can't go to lvl 51 as you don't have early access. I know of another case where someone who doesn't have early access could get xp until he was 1 point from lvl 51 But as for the first son I think you mean, I'd finish it first but I don't think it matters but I don't know since I finished my class quests first before heading to makeb (I'm in early access).

found it, had 80 coms on me so I upgraded my armor haven't seen any rewards for my companion yet except for a weapon from a heroic :/ though I've been getting few greens drops from mobs which my companion can use. Guess I'll give my companion my old adaptive gear and farm coms for correct mods as well.

I run with broonmark on my marauder, while he tanks I kill everything as fast I can, worked fine for me, except he dies on elites and sometimes on strong mobs if there are few mobs around them but when he dies I can usually finish the remaining mobs off easily, then just mount up (or use rocket boost since I have it) to get him revived again and at full health so I don't have much downtime. You can also use Quinn, it will make it easier killing mobs since he heals you during the fight, though when you meet stronger mobs you might want to expect getting low on health, just use the defensive cooldowns when that happens,

I'm leveling as a Lightning specced sorc and using Xalek, normal mobs and strong mobs go down fast and I have very little downtime as I either mount up or use Rocket boost to get Xalec to full health, I also have health packs with me if I take hits that our instant heal doesn't cover. Only trouble are those damned elite mobs, especially the lvl 53 ones, they rape Xalek to the ground and leave me barely alive when I kill them but I've been fine otherwise.

I was wondering if there is a gear like the recruit gear we got at lvl 50, which we can buy for credits? I'm not 55 yet but when I got to 50 with my 2 characters I geared all my companions (or most of them) with the recruit gear.

You need to hand in the quest, finish it before you gain the dark side points chosen in the quest conversation. Everytime you hand in a quest you get a window telling you how much credits, xp, and alignment gains you get for finishing.

It happens in some class quests even for other classes, the companion portrait disappears along with the summon button leaving the bottom left corner blank. So when that happens there is no way of summoning the companion unless hitting "N" and summon from that window, then the companion portrait comes back.

You don't have to be a marauder for that legacy chest, juggs can use it to, you'll only loose some armor since that legacy chest is medium armor and juggs can use heavy

I do all quests like you do, I'm fine being 4-6 levels above the quests I'm just going to do all quests until I'm lvl 50 and then I'll go get 50 gear and continue with my class quests.

Recruit pvp gear will do fine for companions, it's not that expensive.

I've been in a group like yours except as I was a marauder and kept saving the healer because the tank only tanked 1 mob out of 4.... 1 was CCed and the other 2 went for the healer almost killing him so I ended up tanking those 2... as a marauder.... Some tanks just don't know what they're supposed to do.... it's not like it's hard to keep aggro on 3 mobs.
