  1. Love this post Thanks for writing it. I agree with every word of it. For me the most annoying things are these you wrote in 6 and 12. It happened to me a lot of times that I got stuck in an elevator because I was self healing myself after the fight and my team mates were not. So I just stood there one floor below thinking, "Well, now you die" It's really hard to heal a tank for example who just jumped in to the next fight with 50% health. When they die most of them gets it and starts using the self heal... But some of them blames me. So I just point out that they have self heal ability. Most of the times the light bulb appears above their head. When it doesn't... Well, they will die again and again... Some people just can not be helped
  2. As far as I remember this "quest to get the specialization" was to go to the trainer. I mean, when you arrive to the Fleet, someone greets you, tells you your options, and directs you to the advance trainer. You get some xp for having a conversation with him/her... But I might be wrong, usually I don't even remember what quests I did the previous day...
  3. Hmm, ok, thanks, I'll try to combine it. Don't want anything difficult, as most of the time I'm hitting capslock instead of TAB But Shift+1 sounds easy.
  4. Yep, you can do the Flashpoints multiple time for example. That should give you some boost Or you can just pvp for a while maybe... this is what I did when I tried to catch up a bit.
  5. Happened to me quite a lot. Anyway, glad I found this topic, because I wanted to ask about this as well. I could use the pictures on the left side to target, yes, but for example in pvp it's just too many. I want to target my closest ally. F2 for me doesn't work, because I play on a laptop, and to activate F2, I have to use another special key, otherwise that button would just change my screen brightness. So I went to the settings to change key binding. I choose "T" to target my groupmates, but in the game it won't work. I tried to check maybe T is associated with something else, but it's not the case. So now I'm not exactly sure which key I could bind for this...
  6. Yes, same here. It's ok to do some damage here and there, but if that prevents you from healing the other group members you very likely will be frowned upon... But you will see. There are situations, or easy quests, where not that much healing is required, so you can help out with some damage
  7. The headbands I have for my character doesn't override the hood. The full helmets do but they look creepy...
  8. Yes, I finally did I started to think about the whole surname thing as it's in real life. A lot of people who I don't even know has my surname for example. I choose one which sounds good with the name of my alt as well. They are same race though. I tried to put a space like in some french, german name, but wasn't allowed, so I used apostrophe instead and that was ok.
  9. Hey, really nice post, thanks for this. As for this comment: I agree. I play a healer, and been in a lot of groups where I was constantly running after the tank, who just launched himself to a new attack with half of his hitpoints gone in the previous fight. Also maybe a lot of people don't notice, but when in a group, every attack will cancel the other groupmember's out of combat self heal/re-charge. And it's hard to heal a half dead suicidal tank anyway, but without enough force power, almost impossible...
