  1. OP went a little far but since he isn't the only one, it is a cause for concern. This forum is filled with people that are leaving and thats a bad sign. Even when WoW was in vanilla, it was attractive enough to have most stick it out and wasnt this bad. BW is amazing at making games and I don't feel they are solely responsible for what is going on here. Business is business and $$ is the bottom line so if EA says its released, its how it goes. Remember, one unsatisfied customer tells ten, a happy one tells one person if you're lucky, they better care about all these cxl's if they want to be around for awhile. I agree with 90% of OP's statements and all the bashers are totally missing the point. Im a huge SW fanboy but am leaving for most of the reasons OP mentioned so bash away, back to Panda land for me. I expected more from a SW game and may come back in the future to see how its doing but for now I feel like i'd rather of had a Mass Effect mmo where there would be less room for scrutiny since SW is such a huge IP. Back to Pandaland for me and I know I wont be missed and YES you can have my stuff. Bai bai.
  2. OP, I luv you! This made dramatic imporvements for my system while i save up to buy a new one. lol. TY TY TY TY!!
  3. Buy the time card and be done with it. You should know by now whether you're going to enjoy this or not so a $30 time card is a small investment to make for after the 60 days are up, off you go if you dont like it.
  4. At this point WoW still runs wayyyy better for me and although I love SWTOR, its still not enough to shut WoW off solely due to the fact that things are jittery often and laggy for me while WoW runs like a dream and until they fix that, naturally cutting off accessibility to only those with great systems is not gonna make the numbers go up. I will admit though this game has seriously made me consider buying a new computer. So used to running WoW fine I forgot that newer game would equal higher demands. It has the greatest potential of any game for me to be the WoW killer 'cause of story and it never gets old watching my Twi'lek consular cutting fools down like nobody's business in her tight pants. Did I say that out loud?
  5. I'll agree with those that say 'give it time'. It is in its infancy still but its a fine game at its bare roots. Only problem I find is (which i'm sure will get fixed as time goes on) is as someone has already previously mentioned, the responsiveness seems off at times, its a little laggy and choppy while WoW runs smoothly, and certain things happen that are buggy. Now having been part of a few MMO launches myself, this is par for the course so im sure these things will be fixed in the future which will make SWTOR a huge competitor. Its still not enough for me to cancel WoW yet though, only time will tell. I will be a two timer until then. Spread the love so they say Wow is a giant that will be hard to kill and I honestly believe the only one that will take them out is Titan.
  6. Hey come on, it aint that bad. At least they did it on a Tuesday so the WoW servers refreshed and you can go do some LFR and build up some VP while you alt-tab to check your email for your access. Im just saying. Waves make sense, I'd rather wait a day (or hell until the 20th) as to not sit in que for hours on end. One more week of Deathwing I guess. Im just saying.
