  1. Phahahahaha. Sorry... If it's any consolation, once you get off the planet and join the fleet, you can exchange those planet credit things for a better one...
  2. Yeah, and even though I was told I might get 5 days pre-order at the time I bought it, I want 7. And who cares that some of us got into beta tests? Those don't count as game days, cuz my characters got wiped. I'm going to make like 6 separate threads complaining about this and say I'm cancelling my subscription (because I KNOW my subscription matters!) and that Bioware ruined my life. btw, has anyone figured out why my pre-order code doesn't work for my product registration code? Or why my patcher says "no active subscription". I didn't bother reading the first line under "get ready to play!" on my account info or going to http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=359 maybe I'll send bioware an email, post a new thread, and then call them?
  3. If it's not the pre-order, read this website: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=359
  4. Strange, because this website says otherwise... http://www.swtor.com/server-status
  5. Vader created an apprentice to pass off the emperor's bidding to someone else, and to eventually assist him in overthrowing the emperor. The emperor wanted luke to kill vader and take his place as the new apprentice. I think this is the true way of the sith, in that every individual is secretly their own master, working to achieve greater power by any means necessary. They are willing to accept doing the bidding of someone else in order to gain more power, and force their underlings to make that search for power easier.
  6. So just a tip for people running the game off of laptops. If you want to save your battery life and reduce heating, I recommend the following: -If you're using your laptop for extended periods, remove the battery and plug it into the AC adapter. Heat is a large contributor to reducing the battery life. Plus, every time you turn your computer on with the ac connector plugged in (regardless of if the battery is full), it begins a cycle. The lifetime of your battery is longer, if you minimize the number of cycles. Prop a book under the back to keep the fan from resting directly on the desk/lap. -buy a lap/desk cooling pad, such as the Belkin one. It raises your computer off your desk/lap and keeps it cooler. -clean out your fan if it's an old laptop...
  7. I agree with above. It goes by the date you redeemed your code I Bought it in July, but redeemed my code in November. I have not received an email like others who redeemed in July. Check your My Account information to see when you redeemed it.
  8. I was a beta tester, but stuck to the PVE servers. This is because in other MMO's I've played, I often found ultra high level enemy players camping near common objective points or entrance/exits which prevented me from completing missions, and had me waiting around for them to leave. 1) What was your experience in this? Did you find that you were doing this often? I was also wondering what the group experience was like. 2) Did anyone end up participating in any massive Republic vs. Empire PVP group battles (Outside of Warzones)? *Edit: I answered by own question by googling... Check this out: 3) Did everyone generally travel in a group or were there some loners? 4) What was the PVP like when you were near environment AI's? I.e. did they attack primarily one person, one faction/group, or were indiscriminate?
  9. I'd say BH, but only once you get Mako. I could fight groups of 3 that were all 2 levels higher than me, and finish heroics quickly. Eventually I also found another Lvl 26 player claimed they were able to solo the Hammer Station Flashpoint with her.
  10. Nah, they don't but stock ppl or kick them in the groin. They set them on fire, rocket pack upper cut them, and at higher levels stab them with a hot blade protruding out of their arm...
