just don't think that going in a hybrid build for Sentinel is worth it. The classes shines when you master one not be a jack of all trades. It might work in the mid lvls, I dunno but at 50 if you're not using the top ability in the trees you're gimping yourself a great deal works for Sage/Inquiz, not for knights, not that i've seen.

there's some sort of puzzle in that area that if you unlock it you get lvl 49 or 50 gear for T7 as most people do stop using him relatively early.

find person to kill that you need to leap too... Leap + Overload Saber (while in the air) Zealous Strike. now decision time. Leg Slash - or Crippling Throw... if you CT first then leg slash (1 stack of overload) Slash (2 overloads) Cauterize (3 overloads) Strike Merciless Slash. Now, you could bypass the leg slash if you so choose, but really you should snare your target, if you're on an Agebt or Sorc they're not going to stand there, they'll run. Some agents will stay in cover for a second and the best way to get them out of cover is to hit Masterstrike, they don't want tos tand in that full 3s especially if you have 3stacks of overload up, they'll die. You can run and do this crazy thing... leave spawn and head straight for Expertize node and get it. Find squishy, pop your Centering filler, pop power relic, leap in, get your focus to Merciless and hit Inspiration and hope for a crit. If you get off that roation you'll pretty much take half their life right away and have 2 stacks of overload up. That's burst dmg you can use. But again you can only do it ever 5mins.

took it off my hotbars, i'm sure it has use, but it was taking up keybinding space that I need, need to use so many skills in Watchman to maximize it's potential that riposte seemed to be a waste of brainpower.

i'm working on it, i think with more bm gear I can pull it off. i'm getting good at ninja'ing the expertize nodes in huttball ninja node, find scoundrel pop power relic, inspiration... hit him a few times to get juyo to 5 stacks and wham, if I catch the right person I know I can hit it.

twice now I've seen 5000 on my screen but it was in each instance overkill and no metal for me. My highest I've been given credit for came last night which was a nice even 4,444.

you can get the 2.5k metals in any tree once you build it up some. Watchman or Combat will be your easiest tree to get 2.5k in because there is little build up. With Focus if you miss your sweep or get kb or something before you sweep you're going to lose a lot of dmg. In any tree 2.5k will come from Dispatch (your excecute when you get it) and your final tick from Masterstrike IF you get all 3 off on a stunned target, should get 2.5k. Watchman will get with Merciless Slash on any crit with it if you're not beating a tank or are debuffed by a tank. Combat will give you 2.5k crits with Bladestorm if you have your armorpen up. You'd be able to get to those high bladestorms quickly in your leveling process , mid 30's maybe? Aside from that one, you ought to be getting 75kdmg every time, and in a fight of a wz you ought to get 25 kills. Once you get higher in focus in a voidstar, 300k dmg is possible... but you need a lot of heals. In watchman, 75k healing is possible to pull off. Not all the time but in Voidstar, especially it's easier. Huttball is hard, Civil War if you're part of the assaulting team attacking turrets, yes.

4 focus for bladestorm crit for 2.5k. 4 focus merciless slash crit for 4k. 10m isn't a big gap to catch someone, especially as a watchman. I guess the only time I'd suggest it in reality is if MercSlash is on cooldown (which it sould be).

watchman is the best PvE spec if you're soloing. Once you hit lvl cap you and Kira will be able to solo most any Heroic 2 and maybe have to take your heal companion out for Champions (if there are any). At 33 you've not got some of your key survivability skills yet, and in all honesty Watchman really takes off at lvl 40 when you take Merciless Slash (big damage ability, like huge). You just have to make sure you keep the same sort of rotation as in PvP only you don't have to leg slash or use crippling throw much at all in PvE when you're leveling, use Kira my theory is why you're having trouble is because you seem to like to PvP a lot, you're high lvl for Alderaan, maybe you haven't put gear into your pets? If that's the case then Kira might be very undergeared and thus ineffective against the mobs and against Elites or better she might be just missing her attacks. Use commendations to buy her some better gear if she's undergeared (you're 33, she should be in lvl 30ish gear)

I mean it has it's place, ie when someone's getting away from you and you've got dispatch on cd then bladestorm is useful, but really it's so situational that I actually have it bound to something so non-instinctive that I forget I even have the skill.

as mentioned I would support and say that sents are late bloomers in PvP because we get some key abilities late (force cammo, guarded by the force) and thsoe in PvP are just fantastic skills. Leveling up I was Combat for the first 20, then Focus till my high 30's. Mostly because with Focus you can play a nice dmg role in PvP and you'll have all the skills you need to do the rotation, get lots of kills and be able to win 1v1 fights as needed. Granted, Watchman is the better 1v1 spec imo. Once you hit 40, and you can take Merciless Slash, Watchman really separates itself as the best overall spec imo... pve or pvp. Combat, while is fun and viable lacks the survivability of Watchman (no self healing, no group healing) but has some great perks (root breakers and it's own root on your healing debuff). In PvP make sure you use Crippling Throw on every target when there's a healer around... it is the only healing debuff in the game right now, use it liberally, use it always, very very important. Also, save your stuns and interupts. DOn't always leap to your target, if you can get to it on foot you should do so, because you're going to get rooted, punted or stunned and if you blew your leap then you are **** out of luck... sometimes you must leap but if you can avoid opening with it, then run up. once you get force cammo you can aquire your targets much easier on foot.

i'm gonna hut lowbees and see if I can do it. 4.3 is my highest (watchman) and it was this morning on a DPS Shadow... it's sort of an all the stars aling thing. meanwhile, a Juggernaught hit me with sweep for 6k... like woah.

hey man. PVP gear doesn't really make any difference until you're in the lvl 50 tier when you need to have expertise which is the pvp stat, it increases the dmg done to players, dmg reduced from players and healing recieved. I think there's a weapon for like lvl 40 or something you can buy that has some expertise on it, but really it's such a tiny amount that it doesn't matter. You can buy the PvP gear if you want with your warzone commendations, OR you can by the stims (or both) if you like, but it's not vital. The lvl 40 PvP gear is probably worth it, maybe a little (and it looks p cool)

you'll love watchman at 40 when you can take Merciless Slash... it's just one ability but for me Watchman wasn't really 'fun' until I was 40 and then it just took off! I mean who doesn't like an ability that can hit people for 3k with ease in a WZ?

6minutes to get 75k dmg metal and you were in that melee the whole time?

i've seen this also. The second pugs realize they are against either a slightly more organized pug or any sort of premade they push super hard for 4 metals and then pretty much AFK the rest of the wz, I saw it most of the day yesterday on shadowtown. No incentive to try to win or actually fight after 4 metals, you get valor, commendations and credit towards ilum dailies win or lose...

it's not what it used to be but I think you're unlucky. Since the change i've gotten bracers gloves helm 2 relics implant. sorry to hear you're unlucky with drops

i rolled a trooper yesterday with the sole purpose of spamming grav round in warzones in an attempt to get top dmg. I think I can do it.

till you build up on your PVP gear, Watchman or Focus, the Combat tree is not as polished as those two are for PvP (although It can be fine, I find it's far more gear dependant then the other two!)
