  1. If you can't control it no-one here can help you living with OCD is all about self discipline and retraining your mind to accept alternatives to your minds desired behavioural responses. If you only suffer from it in games consider yourself lucky and either deal with it or accept it, there's no magic wand that can be waved to fix it, professional help can be beneficial but at the end of day it comes down to simple self discipline.
  2. Hardcore: You organise your life around your gaming commitments. Casual: You organise your gaming around your other commitments. It really is that simple.
  3. This change annoys me also, but while I would like my old map back you can regain the turning functionality with your map up by simply moving your mouse cursor outside the map window area then holding the button or by bringing the map up after you hold the button down. Not a fix but a workaround
  4. Commit a mass genocide of everything on the planet like any good little sith would, if anything it will solve your frustration at not being able to find them.
  5. Probably because chatty people have become used to being screamed at for not racing through the flashpoint/dungeon/whatever at breakneck speed with no time to even stop and smell the roses. But to the OP nice summary of the story and if you didn't spacebar through all your planetary stories you realise the seeds for most of these ops were planted in the leveling experience
  6. Go stand in the corner for suggesting anything else involving Gungans.
  7. I would assume it will work same as launch early access did. The data will be installed prior to expansion launch then when early access kicks in those with the relevant flag on their account will be allowed access to the new content, whereas those that don't won't. That's the logical method anyway. So to clarify you won't need the PTS probably as the content will be added to the main games files like a patch and will sit there awaiting activation.
  8. Really? Now I had no idea about that in truth had no idea who that even was til now thanks for the correction it was enlightening . On topic though there are many others like this mostly in dialogues and quest titles all over the place. You just have to keep your eyes open
  9. There are actually many many more, they are just incredibly subtle and generally you won't notice them unless your observant or looking for them. For example a section of the Dune Sea on Tatooine is called "The Desert of the Real" most wouldn't notice that as a very subtle Matrix reference
  10. I find it a decent tool to teach positioning yourself right tbh.... But that said with all the healing companions the passive switch button works a charm with AOE and getting them in range but for my Sith Warrior I like it when Quinn stays at max range as interceding back to him to get out of melee range I find as an effective breather tool if you deal with the ranged mobs first
  11. Just have to say that lag can also depend on your internet connection and any traffic on your network... that can account for slight fluctuations in similarly specced machines. But this game from beta always seemed to be heavy on the processor usage so in general it seems the better your processor is the better your game handles itself.
  12. With the new adaptive armour type you guys have implemented it opens up a massive scope for some faction specific uniforms and other things like that. Its Star Wars push the boat out lets have some uniforms and some really outlandish designs for our characters to wear I would personally love to see a variant of the Ubese armour as worn by Leia in Return Of The Jedi when she delivers Chewie to Jabba, always loved that armour set
  13. Excellent news always find myself with those few abilities I want on my bars but can't as just not enough room... consumables and stuff like that. Would be nice to let us show our bars in a arc/curve instead of a straight line as well... you know make our HUD's look a bit prettier.
  14. And I bought mine 2 weeks ago... your point is? If you had read my full post instead of just the sections you decided to quote... I was first stating I did used to have problems with performance, due to my outdated machine, I have since updated my machine and the difference is like chalk against cheese. Also to others I never said I had perfect performance... but its light years ahead of what I had on my old machine... so in my own specific case and my own opinion which is the only one I am qualified to talk about... for me it was my machine that was the problem, I replaced my machine and now the game plays the way I would expect a game of this type and class to play. As in not 2-12 fps in warzones... lockup every 3 seconds walking around fleet waiting for the graphics to render... staring at a black screen everytime waiting for the world to load coming up to the main fleet area from my hangar. Oh yes and my personal favourite waiting 10 minutes for the game to shut down when using the "Exit Game" button. So yeah... I been there experienced all the problems I replaced my machine now I don't have them simple. Lets just say it makes you think that maybe there is an essence of truth in what they say much as I hate to generally believe a word EA spoon feeds their gamers... but yeah through my experiences it makes me think there may be a grain of truth behind the whole "The game works just a few people have problems due to their hardware"
