  1. I've rocked through the first 30 levels spec'd focus for roughly 28 levels of that. Tried my hand at Vigi and Defense. I didn't notice a huge difference to this point in survivability or dps when killing mobs or in PVP, so I went with what seemed to be moves that went better together for pvp with the cooldowns meshing in my rotation.
  2. I can see what you are saying to a certain extent. When I first started playing I got the feeling they took the "Jedi" and cut him into 2 classes to make up for a limited amount of classes to choose from. It doesn't bother me as much as it bothers you, I've been enjoying both the Story and PVP aspects of playing my Guardian. I find myself caring about the way I respond with my Guardian. I can't remember another game where the story pulled me in enough to care until now. Probably some things pulled from WoW and other successful MMO's...I'm just glad they took years of others trying to perfect MMO's and continue to strive to be better. I'm patient enough to see what BioWare has in store for me.
  3. Glad I wasn't the only one to have my gag reflex tested when I saw it I prefer the lvl 40 armor to any of the 50 stuff. I like the half robed, half blaster armor look.
  4. What he said. I haven't had any problem in PVP in the teens or 20's. I've found my niche and rolled with it. Much like you doing dps hasn't been a problem in PVP or instances, and with the added ability of guardian its been tons of fun. If you like the saber dps you might like the consular better for abilities a little earlier in your levels...
  5. I am spec'd into Focus and haven't spent much time outside of PVP, but it seems like I am always in the top 3 damage done when its over.
