Why wasnt this posted by SR on swtor.com? Surely he would want most of the community to see this.

Basically guys what it boils down to is the EU staff just didnt want to do nightshifts so bioware came out and said it's because they want a "Global Service".

Wait so for NA its fine to have early morning patching but when EU ask for it we're acting like we are "Entitled"? I don't think this is about entitlement more of fairness.

Honestly did no one at bioware even think this through? Why all the silence bioware? You know the CS has been pretty poor so far.

The game is awesome I think everything will agree and because the game is awesome people get even more pissed that they have to wait in a queue. People need to complain its how stuff gets done in life. Think of it like a sofa (i know bare with me) if that sofa turned up in not best quaility would you complain? Of course you would and the company would replace it for you to not get a bad name. Now I know a sofa and a video game is very different but the logic behind it is the same. We need complainers in our life they actually get things done for us. Bioware also needs complainers to know what things they need to do right. All this moaning is good because it puts presure on bioware to get this fixed fast. If they dont then the word will go out that this game is unplayable. and btw a sofa was the first thing to come to mind.

Lock the high pop servers ffs. Just asking people to roll on other servers wont help. New people will not read the forums they will just jump straight into the game on a high pop server. Take some action this is becoming a mess of a launch, which im not happy to see since ive been around since 2009 I really don't want to see SWTOR become the failure of 2012.

So all this planning pre launch went well then did it? because from were im standing from looks like it was a waste of time...nearly 12 PM GMT and 800 queue for nightmare lands. Should have locked the server when it first started to get full instead you just asked people not to join it! Before anyone says its launch get over it, i know its launch ive been in a few mmo launches but bioware made massive statements before launch saying it was preparing for a smooth launch. They've done well on the server lag side because when you do get on there is barely any but they havent taken any actions to stop full servers filling up and this will hurt the game just as much as server lag and before anyone says only 2nd day since launch but its also been a week since early access and they could have seen the full servers getting fuller so why didnt they lock them then? Instead they let them open and just ask people not to join.

Please lock the full servers.

Rockjaw Stephen Reid I will say - as I mentioned yesterday - that today the 'timeline' of people who get in will be much, much longer. Beyond July... Just in from SR

8/23 here...hopefully will get in but will judge on the dates of the first wave. If I don't get in then tomorow will do for sure.

It is fair...some people are treating this as an entitlement. You paid for the game, the game releases 20th December whatever bioware want to do between now and then is their choice. So in short, shut up because this is a privillage not something to be expected.
