  1. I am looking for more than seeing myself walking through the tunneled world I have been given even on peak times. If this game has so many people playing it why don't you ever see them outside of fleet ? its fricken lame it feels like a single player game. BTW I don't ever remember wow crashing because more than 50 people were in a zone together. I hate to reference another game, but you started it.
  2. Class quests and what not aren't the problem. It is the sharding of the main worlds. I think people are just not articulating what they mean.
  3. So skoobie what are they doing then. I want to know so I can go do that and have fun as well. Did they find some secret area of the game that only they know about.
  4. ^^ good explanation. It's one of the biggest problems I have with this game. Everywhere except the starting zone and the fleet feels completely dead and lifeless. If you aren't use to mmos then you don't actually know what your missing. Especially when you go on a pvp server for the thrill of being ganked or doing it yourself and then you never see anyone but your companion.
  5. 50 is fun for like a week then you start to realize all you do is hang out on the fleet and do 1 of two things. 1.) play huttball 2.) finish a raid if you havn't yet. Btw the raid will take you maybe 4 hours to finish and they are very easy on all but the hardest skill mode. So if you don't mind playing huttball 20 hours a week and making worthless crafted items then sure you will love 50.
  6. When your on a roller coaster ride to you sit and talk to everyone else or do you enjoy the quick ride and get off when everyone else does?
  7. Story is the only thing they did right. That's why the game is fun until you hit 50.
  8. The game is fun until you play it for a month. This is just not a hardcore mmo players game.
  9. So for anyone saying their is nothing wrong and the game is running just fine try this. Turn on your FPS tracking and simply open your inventory or crafting menus. Now explain to me how a perfectly running game should drop anywhere from 10-20 fps by opening an inventory box? Game is not a complete waste or unsaveable, but it needs a lot of work. Ok so yea its an mmo they all suck when they first come out. Are we supposed to accept that ? I understand maybe 7-10 years ago mmos were still fairly new, but now its not acceptable to have so many problems and such a dead feeling game. Most of the people enjoying it right now havn't been end game for very long.
  10. Well if that is your logic for people being in the forums I see a crazy amount of people who don't love the game.
  11. You are right probably MOST aren't, but many are. Lots of people also don't realize they are acting having a problem. I bet somewhere between 10-15% of people who have more then minimum specs are having some kind of performance issue. I know at least 10 people from a guild of 50 who quit because of how the game performs. Sure that's not most of the guild, but that's a lot no matter how you spin it.
  12. If your going to make an mmo why segregate all the players ? If its because your servers suck it sounds like bad planning. No one can argue that an mmo should hide all the players from each other. The game feels like a long corridor that you are being hand held through. To make matters worse the world feels like a painting. You can see, but you can touch and nothing feels alive.
  13. I like a lot about swtor. But I don't like a lot as well. I think the biggest problem is the game feels like I am being held by the hand through a dead world. I never see other players even though I play on a super populated server. Sharding to this extreme is wicked fail. I feel like im playing a single player rpg. I feel like this isn't looking backwards, but not looking at all.
  14. I feel like swtor is an ok mmo. It is far from fantastic and tons of people will leave after D3 and GW2 comes out. These people will stay gone if these other companies live up to the hype. Swtor did a good job of making their game sound revolutionary and it really is just more of the same in a star wars skin. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not enough. Swtor will only pull through if they can do a great job of adding NEW ideas that make the game more fun to play.
