  1. Why not? It's completely relevant to all that legacy thing that Bioware's talking about in their videos
  2. Hello everyone. My suggestion is simple: let us use the sniper rifles by unlocking this in legacy "talents" (or whatever it'll be called). Sniper is very awesome and playing this class feels very special - like real sniper, while gunslinger with two pistols feels a bit wrong to me. After all, it's not a big deal to me. So please, let us use sniper rifles and add them to commendations vendors stock. It is like my father was a sniper so he taught me how to use the rifle
  3. Wow, that's great to know they're actually thinking about it.
  4. Well, that was the point of making such thread on the game forums in the first place - to know how my fellow swtorers feel about it, so I'm not assuming anything. That's why I put a "So, what do you think?" sentence in the end of my post
  5. Guys, wouldn't it be awesome if SWToR has world PvE like Rift does? I mean dynamic invasions, rifts and footholds (all can be easily introduced into SW universe, like some Mandalorians/Pirate/Whatever ship landed on the planet (rift), they built some fortifications/camps (footholds) and send their recon groups to some Imp/Rep objects (invasions)? Because it seems to me that implementation of something like this in the game like SWToR would work even better than in the Rift. It would make us to return to low level planets, having some extensive communication with other players of all levels, make the world really living and not so very static it is now (without even a zone phasing). So, what do you think?
  6. Hello everyone! I hit 50 recently and as I was able to visit every planet, I got a new idea of what should be done to make the whole playable world more lively and, as title says, open. It's simple: devs should focus on expanding the planets and cities which already exist. The main point of lack of the open world feel in the game is having the same structure of every planet, described as "the city/town and it's surroundings" or just the city/town (like Nar'Shaddaa). It makes to feel every planet like it's something very local, very closed. But that's not the only point of it. Dromund Kaas feels like the city park of Kaas City. This is very wrong. Let's imagine how everything will change if we make Kaas City larger with more "indoor" quests (so we'll have to explore the corners of the night city, it would feel awesome) and expand the area around it to the north as well, turn the spaceport into some spaceport town with buildings and neutral NPCs around, expand the Revanites camp the same way and add some suburbs to the north. Make some communications like solid, lighted roads, make it live. Add more interesting class-related quests. It would have absolutely different feel. Not completely open, but much, million times more like it. Balmorra is even more odd. It have to give some serious, large-scale war for the ENTIRE PLANET, but actually it feels like we are fighting for torn apart empty plains of nothing and some, i don't know, pale farmlands and absolutely boring droid factories standing without any logic here and there etc. The planet is essentially useless, how can anything we see here can motivate us to fight for it? But it can be surely fixed by some cosmetic changes. Give it a structure that will make sense. The monotonic war everywhere doesn't work absolutely. Split the Balmorra's area to three part: Imperial/Warzone/Rebels. Let the first and the third areas to be more calm and working the casual way and the second to be what Balmorra is actually is now completely. Give it a feel of not just the war everywhere without a freaking end to it. We should start at the Imperial town (like we do now), do some introductory stuff, then some big-scale war missions, then capture their town. To make the world feel more open, enlarge it two times, spread the enemies more, leave more territory as war-free, finally add some rebel villages where we could do some sabotage stuff, fight some minor bosses etc. There are some planets like Hoth and Belsavis where everything seems to work like it should be, but overall, every planet needs EXPANSION, SPREADING the mob packs to have more open and fight-free zones, TOWNSapart from the main settlements and LESS CAMPS. Give the game more SMOOTH feel. Give it a feel of the WORLD and not of sandbox where some kindergarten kids plays war with plastic soldiers. Make it more realistic, more mature in the meaning of its dynamics. I hate to admit it, but it is actually the main aspect of the game where it's totally outdone by WoW. If we could compare it that way, then it will be something like: - Start at the Mulgore and run arong the Blackhoof Village where the area of the third of the Mulgore will be packed with triple more mobs the entire Mulgore have. - Take the space shuttle to Thunder Bluff and do a half of hundred quests on the area of the foot of the it's hills etc. It just.. Doesn't work GOOD that way. Please, think about it and make the appropriate changes. P.S. Sorry for my super bad English
