Truth, spoken above. I've been a participant in MMO and their forums for over a decade, and I have to say, without a doubt, this forum is the Mos Eisley Spaceport of MMO forums. There are plenty of good folks here, but the level of toxicity and contempt for this beautiful game is just overwhelming. Bugs? Sure. Things need a little tweaking, sure. But nothing ... I mean NOTHING deserving of the level of hate and vitriol spewed forth here.

Honestly, I roll on RP and RP-PVP servers because most of the PVPers aren't very good. So I look *really good* by comparison. In short, I go there to whoop up on the girls, kids and carebears. Not to troll them, not to destroy their immersion, just to beat on 'em. I'll even do it "in character" and by the server rules.

Have my babies, please. Good God, you've summed up my every thought about children ages 10-26 in two small paragraphs.

All this. I've been playing pretty much constantly since pre-Launch, several Alts on several different servers. I haven't ran into any bugs or glitches and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, the community will get a lot better once the free-monthers have moved on and the fans of the game remain.

One word: Mitichlorians. I could forgive Jar-Jar. I could forgive "Baby Ani Built C-3PO." I could forgive killing Darth Maul instead of letting his evil percolate for another movie. I could even forgive "Anikin was born of Virgin Birth" But to reduce the All-Powerful Universe-Binding Force to little more than a blood infection ... man, that tore everything else for me.

So ... uh ... How does one pass the ball? Seriously. I've only played a couple of WZ's and only one was Huttball. I get the objective, I just don't know how to pass. Instead of QQing at us new players, how about fillin' us in on the "How To" part? I'll be the best teammate you've ever had, if I knew all the ins-and-outs.

Howdy, Chris ... and everyone else. My name is Eric, but most everyone calls me Tex. I'm a 42 year old "First Generation" Star Wars fan. Married with children, professional graphic artist and veteran of many MMO's over the years. I did not have high hopes for this game, and had no intention to play it - until I got the Thanksgiving Weekend Beta Invite. Man, I was sold in the first ten minutes and pre-ordered before the weekend was over. Of course, that means I'm still waiting to get in, but that okay, I'm a patient guy for the most part.

What am I doing? COMPLAINING. A lot. Not because I'm mad or anything, but because I hate knowing so many folks are having fun in-game while the rest of us wait around listening to how much fun people are having. They should've just kept the forums down until we're all allowed to play. It just makes it worse, having to see all the "it's funny because I'm playing and you're not" posts.
