  1. My concern with that response is that it references Legendary Status, not individual class achievements. I'm nowhere near finished all 8 classes. 2 of 3 classes completed thru chapter 3 are not reflected in Legacy. I'll hope that the 4.4 update fixes both issues.
  2. This doesn't address the problem where individual class completion achievements are not unlocking in Legacy when the chapter 3 quests have indeed been completed. Fix it now, patch it in.
  3. My JK shows as completed. However I've completed Chapter 3 for the Smuggler and Trooper over the last couple of days, and neither is unlocking in the legacy global unlocks for republic classes. Needs to be fixed asap.
  4. My Jedi Knight chapter 3 completion achievement unlocked. However the Smuggler and Trooper achievements have not. I have completed the class quests. For instance, for the Trooper, I've completed the final quest, Battle for Corelia. All companion conversations and quests are also completed and unlocked. Chapter 1 and 2 are unlocked. But not Chapter 3. I'm referring to the Legacy Republic Classes screen, under Global Unlocks. Is this a bug, or is it possible to complete the final quest after missing another quest that should be required?
  5. I've come to believe that the expectation of an eternal endgame is hopeless. No game can do it. I look at SWTOR as I would Witcher 3. Play it from beginning to end. Measure it's worth based on the fun I had and the time involved. Then in an mmo's case, unsub. Come back for the expansions. Wow's WoD is considered a failure due to the lack of endgame. Every single mmo is criticized for this. So what's the point. SWTOR has great entertainment value thru the stories. Treat it as such.
  6. Uh, read my original post. I love walking thru the main storylines. Buying a 60 is for skipping all that, like buying a 90 in wow. Good reason to skip leveling in wow. It's so f'ing boring. SWTOR's strength is the stories. GW2's strength is the leveling design. WOW's has degraded to nostalgia. So Bioware needs to use their heads, and thrive on their strength. And without the boost, the game turns into a leveling nightmare. Now tonight, I'll get my trooper and bounty hunter from 20 to 30. Without the boost, well I wouldn't be playing, but if I did it would take a week. No thank you. The first responder to my thread said something about plans to keep a large xp boost on the stories. I'll look into it. Thanks.
  7. I've thoroughly enjoyed coming back to swtor after 2 years away. I've played all class storylines up to level 25. I'm alternating back and forth and loving it. And that is where this game is so good. The stories. But I'm concerned when Oct 15 rolls around cause the leveling system is quest hub based and takes waaaaaay toooooo looooong to level a toon. Reason I left 2 years ago. And I won't go back to doing that. So if I can get several toons up to 50 or 55 by Oct 15, I'm good. But otherwise, forget it. I STRONGLY recommend leaving that 12 time xp in for 1 - 50 permanently. And I'll play swtor for a long long time in a galaxy far away.
  8. Tattooine is the first planet that gave me a sense of 'Star Wars'. BUT, all that land is empty. Nothing to explore outside of the quest lines. Only a few beasts. BW needs to play Skyrim before they put out the first expansion. Seriously. You can't copy mmos of 3 years ago and expect to survive. Even if it is Star Wars. Integrate something cool besides class story arcs.
  9. Anyone who says that every mmo has done this since the dawn of time is ignorant. If I put in a viable sub, somehow making me an acceptable candidate to play their game, then cancel it the day before it gets dinged, then what good was it. If I am going along playing on a month to month, then cancel, I'm still entitled to play thru the time I've paid for. So how is the first 30 days that is included with the purchase of the game any different? Just answer that, stop putting in lame excuses to defend a corporate habit that is an outrage.
  10. WoW is down, or was during the first 4 years of development, EVERY Tuesday from 7 am to 2 pm EST. If you don't have a job, or work an afternoon or night shift, this CAN be frustrating. But BW isn't going to have two staffs running updates at two different times of day. Too much room for errors or discrepancies between the US and EU updates. Just be patient, once the game is reaching it's 5th year of existence, some of those Tuesdays will be skipped.
  11. You do realize that your flight path is limited right? How could it be multiplayer?
  12. Fix the servers. NO EXCUSE for having to wait to log in during midday hours on a week day. This is pathetic.
  13. This is bad. It's one thing if you have a small wait during prime evening hours, but it's another when you have a 15-20 minute wait early in the afternoon on a week day. Need to fix this asap. Whatever it takes. People will stroll off to WoW, Diablo 3 and GW2 if you leave 'em waiting. And playing a new toon on another server is NOT an option or excuse.
  14. First question: If I'm going along with a recurring subscription, and I have 27 days left on any given month, and I decide to cancel, are you (the company), going to take away the 27 days I have left? I think the answer is obviously 'No'. Question is, how is this different than when I have 27 days of play left with my original purchase of the deluxe digital edition ($75)? Wouldn't it have been less painful for all of us if you had just let us play our initial 30 days, and prevented anyone from logging in if they have not set up a subscription BY THE END of that 30 day window? This would stagger the traffic on the website over a month for people creating their subs. AND, they are entitled to that original 30 days of play that is advertised with the purchase of the game. Instead you forced EVERY player to have to access the website yesterday after finding they couldn't login. And after waiting to get onto the website (unheard of having a web queue), the pages that display for setting up a sub were not working properly. Took me 4 hours to get it straigtened out. Whoever made this decision should be FIRED. What if I go and cancel today the sub I was forced to create yesterday? Gonna take away the 26 days I paid for when I bought the game? A very smooth launch went in the can yesterday. Can you say 'FULL REFUND'?
  15. I'm always choosing Str/End items for my Sentinel. I believe that is correct. Now I'm getting ready to leave Tatooine and I want to pick up a lightsaber before going to Alderan. The special items vendor only offers a Light II with power, not crit. So far I've focused on crit. What does power do for a Sentinel? Anything?
