  1. That is my intention. Guess it didn't come through clearly in the example.
  2. So here are just some ideas me and my marine buddies came up with. Please give feedback. "The Simon Says Boss": So this game was the basic foundation for an idea we had for a boss encounter for an Operation. The Overseer (Simon) would be staged on a platform above the arena floor, standing next to a holo-projection screen. To start the encounter a raid member must interact with and object on the floor in the center of the arena, such as a skull. Upon interacting with the skull 4-6 champion mobs will enter the arena floor and engage the raid members. The Overseer will use his screen to show what order he wants the the mobs killed in. For example 2 green troopers, 1 red gundark, and a brown rancor are on the floor the Overseer would flash green, brown, green, red. So the kill order would be trooper, rancor, the remaining trooper, and then the gundark. The penalty for killing out of order is the overseer will drop a bomb to the arena floor that hits for 25% of your max health and reduces healing by 20% for 10 seconds for all raid members, and the Overseer releases two more mobs for the ones that were killed out of order. You must complete 3 full sequences to end the encounter. Each wave will have one healer and one tank mob. If for instance their is a extra mob whose color was not in the sequence, that mob cannot be killed until his color appears in a sequence. Space PvP: So for this idea we imagine 2 ships hovering over something of importance floating out in space like the Void star. This WZ is 16v16 and involves your star ships. The main objective is to defeat the enemy captain and destroy the enemy ship. All players will start in their star ships. They will need to destroy the turrets and energy shield surrounding the enemy docking bay. At this point your team will be able to taxi over to the enemy ship and fight your way to the enemy captain who is holding a important piece of that thing floating out in space. Once that is done all members of your team must exit the enemy ship and hop back into your star ships to finish destroying the enemy ship (engines, command deck, blah blah). You have to do all this while racing the enemy team and defeating their defensive players on their ship, avoid being shot down when taxing between ships by enemy star ships, and take down the enemy ship in time. For PvP between star ships proton torpedoes cannot be used against enemy star ships. Blasters will be your main attack against enemy star ships, however you can use your missiles BUT you must lock onto the target for at least 1.5 seconds to avoid missile spamming. The main reason players would stay out in their ships after the docking bay is open is to shoot down taxing ships to slow down reinforcements. That and to have awesome space combat with other ships. All player ships are free flowing and in constant forward movement. If a ship ventures to far from the action their are targeted by ray beams and insta-killed. Collision still applies with enemy ships. Upon being shot down you must wait 30 seconds before you can enter your ship again. You can only land your personal star ship in your friendly landing bay. You simply fly through the blue phase door and are dismounted. There will be a 30 second debuff before you can enter your ship again as its being repaired. Constructive feedback only plz. If you don't like something tell us why and how you would fix it.

  4. Let me start by saying this is an amazing game, and I plan to play for many years indulging myself in it. So at launch the dailies/weeklies were get 5/15 war efforts. BW changed this because many servers (especially PvE) were just trading war efforts and not really killing each other or using Ilum as it was intended. So BW switched it to get 30/150 kills/armaments. Again players siezed the opprutunity to trade in order to get easy valor and quest rewards. Now BW implemented a patch to make trading harder. This still doesn't encourage max use of Ilum. From what I've seen: players fly in, go to the center, try to farm armaments, run away if the see to much red, and come back with 5 times the numbers to kill two people. It looks like most people are skipping the control points and forgetting about the buffs. So what i propose for the dailies/weeklies is that it be a quest with multiple requirements. I would say for the daily you need to cap 5 control points and get 15 kills. The weekly can be something like 15 and 75. Also do not put a cap on how manys kills you can get in x amount of time. Instead either make the valor xp in world pvp very small or you can only get valor xp in world pvp after level 60 valor. Just my idea. Tell me what you think in a constructive way.
  5. I ganked some guy last night during the Ilum dailes with my buddy......he tried to run but grapple ftw!
  6. Please only post titles and name that you actually have. I want to see how creative and awesome some of the community names are. My favorite that i have is Darth Sin'felle Deathsworn lvl 50 Sorc DPS.
  7. One of the funniest SWTOR vs. WoW videos ever.......of course SWTOR wins.
