  1. I suggest you pick a marauder, they are incredibly fun. And right now, they are VERY strong because they have such powerful defensive cds. Along with this they get the only healing debuff in the game, the lowest cd interrupt and very strong burst that heals them.

    That is such a poor way to prove a point. There will ALWAYS be people trying to make cheat-engines. It doesn't matter what game it is and no matter how good your security is there will be people trying to bypass it to cheat. Google results only show that people are making an attempt, not succeeding. By your logic games would never get launched just because the developers would backpedal 6 months everytime a google result came up.
  3. That is only going to make you a better ball-carrier. Pure dps classes like the ones you mentioned still have utility in huttball. Commando's and Gunslinger's and absolutely destroy ball carriers as well as provide incredible sustained pressure on healers AND knock people off platforms consistently.
  4. Exactly; I play a VERY mobile gunslinger as a sharpshooter. I am constantly repositioning myself, reentering cover to get my cover buffs back up, etc. Position is so important on them that you NEED to be moving. If Bioware didn't want the class to move at all they would have more stacks on charged barrier, the instant on charged bolts would be automatic, etc. Playing this really mobile, aggressive gunslinger has brought me great results but I imagine it will degrade a bit when I step this character into the 50 bracket.
  5. Even though I am sure everyone has already pointed it out; Sentinels only get a cleansable snare, 3 second channeled(Instant if specced) stun and a rooting gap closer. Where our real power lies is in our ability to absolutely obliterate healers.
  6. The main reason this is the way it is primarily centers around the fact that imperials and republic get sent to different zones at different levels. So the result is you don't see a lot of people around your level questing in the same area because the imperials are on a completely different planet.
  7. You people are cute, play a Marauder/Sentinel. They kind of shut us down. The only time I am actually not being killed is when the enemy has a stroke and forgets to focus me. Anytime I am under pressure I have to cut heals to keep myself up, meanwhile other members of my party are likely dieing.
  8. This actually tells you a LOT about the players involved, and possibly the class too if they are good players. This is assuming it's a full game though. Since we don't have parcers and we can't see these people play we can't really deter whether this is fault on their part of the nerf just ruining them. There's no doubt that this was a significant nerf but from my experience we still absolutely tear apart anyone not running around in a brick house.
  9. All of which you have not posted? I think I am just going to leave if you can't handle a mature conversation in which your post does not consist of at least 2 insults. Hard evidence would assume you post actual data not use hearsay and boast your opinion like it's that of god. I still see level 50 scrappers blow apart squishy classes like they are made of paper, and mine does the same. Also if you don't know your actual role that's something beyond the discussion of this thread. If you want to know where your utility lies it's in your stealth which lets you engage things on your terms whenever you please.
  10. That's only if you crit, the actual damage increase of a crit is going to be 600-1000 at most. It's really not THAT big a deal. You also have to keep in mind that you can get extra damage by getting more sucker punches in too as well as the flying fist bonuses. I really don't see either of these being HUGE increases, so I guess you would be best off just doing what you thought was best and until we get parcers going neither of us can really prove our point.
  11. I still have yet to see you people post any actual data regarding your class. It's obvious to anyone with eyes that the class lost a lot of damage, but that doesn't make you worthless. How about you use actual facts to prove your point instead of devaluing others using a strawman argument? I mean if you people are all level 50 scoundrels I don't see how you have any actual issues gathering data here. Especially since if you are in that bracket it clearly means your warzone screenshots would be valid. If nobody ever provides any actual data beyond how hard you are hitting, we are just going to run around in circles.
  12. Clearly nothing because you people would tear apart any imperfection possible, despite the fact that your little 50's bracket only puts you on semi-even ground. My main still tore people up once in that bracket because you still have idiots in that bracket, the only difference is you have all of your abilities. Should I go get some max level wz ss's to prove this point too? Do we really need to argue this? Hey, where is your level 50 scoundrel anyways?
  13. Thing is if I were wearing battlemaster gear they would devalue my opinion with the same argument. Which is even sadder because the only thing battlemaster proves is that you have experience, not skill.
  14. I'm sure once I am geared my data will be skewed too because I am fighting people that could be undergeared. Please provide an argument other than the fact that a class that SHOULD have been countering you the entire time is now doing so.
  15. I do the same on my 50 in that bracket? Does that mean something now? Am I able to post my opinion now or is all my data automatically invalid? I think next time I will just black out my name and edit ss's heavily to avoid these devalued arguments, because even if I was a level 50 you would try and find a way to devalue my opinion instead of providing your own counter-argument.
  16. As I have said before, this is my general damage bracket if you want I can just catalogue all of my wz screenshots. I even said before that this was only to prove that we were still viable. Regardless of the enemy teams intelligence you cannot argue what is clearly a variable, I don't know why you people obsess over it. Do I need to edit it out of the post to get everyone to drop it? Also as far as gear goes I am pretty normal pal, running level 40 pvp gear. And yes their pve is gimped, I never argued that it wasn't. As far as damage on tanks goes, you likely shouldn't be dropping them that quickly as is. You need to have classes that counter you otherwise you are just going to steamroll through everyone. In equal gear you will have high hp and damage to match their's. Tanks are difficult to take down now, but it's far from impossible.

The skill level between the brackets isn't nearly as much as you make it out to be(I say this from experience), my primary tree is filled out and my next talents are all just going to be gravy. If anything your results are far more skewed considering you are fighting people who have vastly different stats than you, while I am fighting people who are effectively using the same gear as me. The only real area I feel you have right to complain is pve, because right now you don't have any utility that is unique to your class.

  19. You get shoot first next level, don't split your talents until you have scrapper filled out to 31. You also had a few talents that were definitely out of place for a pvp build.   20. Thing is sucker punch hits just as hard, the only reason you use flechette is to apply the buff and the dot now. The only real difference is going to be when it crits and even then it's not going to be something huge, a difference of 1k at most(And this is being charitable). You could argue that having backblast up more would be more valuable but I don't think there would be a substantial dps change in either situation.
  21. That's most warzones in a nutshell, I am not trying to prove anything via screenshot that is just to point out that we are still far from worthless. If you want I could post every screenshot of each warzone I did today, my damage is pretty consistent unless my team gets rolled over.
  22. This lowers your overall damage output, the only reason to do this that early is if you know/want to burst someone down immediately. Before the nerf this would have been OKAY because your burst was stupid high, but if you want to maximize your overall damage output you're going to do that by keeping the dot up. Either way this won't make a colossal difference, but the difference in damage between sucker punch and backblast is pretty petty right now so I think it is more useful to prolong your dot.
  23. Why in lords name would you stack your dots? Shoot first, Blaster Whip, Pugnacity, Sucker Punch, Sucker punch again if it's up, Refresh flechette debuff with backblast repeat.
