  1. I hope too, that BioWare won't do same mistake, as Blizzard, and make the game all about high level, but there must be interesting content there. And if Blizzard offers sport, in fact - because arenas is a real cybersport, and raids is a kind of sport, too, Bioware, i think, have to propose us at higer level a piece of exploration and... mystery. There must be much to do in the world with quests and without quests. It could be not only things I've posted in the beginning, but unquestable stories, items and so on. Approximately, it could be finding ingredients for crafting really rare weapon, step by step, from finding information about it's existance and finding draft of it till finding (or offering by contracts:rolleyes:) pieces of it. It could be finding lore stories in the galaxies and planets far far away, investigations and so on. And, ofcourse, high - level PvP warzones, world PvP (with dynamic world, as I've said before) and flashpoints. This will attract players for years. The thought, that even if you've already been at every planet, the whole world is still not explored creates the amazing feeling. The possiblity to find something by your own way, create by your own way is brilliant, and it's that thing WoW do not have. It would be good, btw, if we will have ways to create our own recipies to make our own, exclusive craft. 1) I'm not speaking clearly about Alterac, but there is a real need to have a warzone bigger, than the existing ones. The clear size and number of players may be different, and it could be not only one warzone. I've made examples from action games from Lucas Arts - JK:Jedi Outcast and JK:Jedi Academy. There were good and beautiful maps - so there is a great sourse of ideas. It's just an idea to think of and to realize, because now warzones are not so interesting - 2 of 3 are simple and small. Huttball is great, nothing to say. As I know, there is a special team of warzones developers in the SWTOR project - they are skilled, experienced and talanted guys, i think, they will decide clear - what, how and where. I m just giving an idea - this number of WZ and it's content is really not enough. 2) The thing, you're speaking about is analog of Tol Barad in WoW - a battle area, wich is being fought for once in 2 hours. I'm speaking about the zone, that will be fougt for constantly. The imballance of server is a real danger, but it could be avoided different ways and firs of many is the number of criterias, that make the planet/location be neutral - for example by the percent of the controling zones checkpoints, or by making primary and secoundary checkpoints for each faction, or different other ways. The main idea is to create something, that will make the Galaxy not static, as '' this is republic territory, this is imperial territory and this is okay'' but dynamic and something to motivate players to fight for this territory. This could have different realization. 3) Well, SWG is dead, of course, but I think, that the idea of players quest - dealings is good. I've got some ideas here how to do, and it's close, as I know, to SWG's way. Let me tell: If you want to give somebody the quest, you have to go to NPC, that exists in every big city and fill the blank of contract. Then, you can find the player, who will agree to do it, get his acception and register it in console. After it's completed you and he register the finishing in the console also. This, btw, gives the way to realize the potential of social professions like diplomacy, treasure hunting and other to the other faction players - the information of your contract could be stolen (your registered contract could be found on blackmarket by the way and become there a subject of the deal, or information about treasure will go through treasure - hunting community - this is lore ) and the quest could finally grow in the competition between the executor and the person\persones, who stole the information, about the contract. There could be many details there, according to why a player couldn't do the things, he's creating contract for, himsef. It could be some class specific - some items and things could be active for one class, and unactive for other class, unactive but necessary to craft this class item. It could be acted and made different ways and it's not necessary to make a real big work here. And this is that bir role - play piece, so wanted among starwars players. 4) Reall would be nice, but the realization seem so me difficulter, than higer presented ideas, even №3. Lol, I'm speaking, in fact, about mixing SWG and SWTOR. And think, that it's real to Bioware team to take the best from SWG to SWTOR. Aboul travels to ship - i think the "registering" location, as we do in every city or place with terminal and the next using quick travel directly to your ship hangar, to the place near the entrance to your "green zone" will be enough. Dual spec is possible, but if it's about lore... dunno. I wish, we would be heared by the developers.
  2. Greetings, everybody. This is a kind of proposal to BioWare - what to do and what to add in the world of SWTOR to make it completly well and brilliant game. The game now, as for me, seems to be a good product - but only a preparation. We got big world, storyline well - made and so on and so on, but I'm not about this. I'm about the possible and necessary improvements. 1) The warzones are good, especially huttball is amazing - but we do have'em only 3 and they are too small. They're getting boring very fast. I think, we need some big warzone or warzones , containing many objects - like capture places (bases, flags or anything else, according to the content), bonuses and so on. A warzone to involve big teams from both sides to fight and fight and fight, a warzone to be winnable by different strategies and tactics. the parallel (ofcourse, not clear) could be Alterrak valley from WoW. Or, if you want other parallel - your own multiplayer games JK:Jedi Outcast and JK:Jedi Academy. There were anazing and big multiplayer maps, I don't think the're hard ti redesign for SWtor warzone. What do I see now - we do have warzones, that will not attract players after a month of play. 2) The dynamic - not static, Galaxy. What am I speaking here about - for example some outdoor PvP planet with constant fight for it, witch will give some little but sensitive buff to the whole faction on the server, that take full control of it, or controls some huge % of the planet. The plot of the whole game is war between 2 factions, but if nothing changes in general - I do not sence that war, it stays only at paper. Let there be some "front", where anyone can go to fight, the place that will affect all the faction on the server. What could be a profit of controling this, for example, planet? Let it be, for example, credit - dump for the faction. While a faction controls the planet, all the members of this faction gain X% more credits for quests, trades and so on. And this could be plot - based - this profit exists, because the planet is very important trade or resourse centre. The buff could be different, but it's necessary to have it. This way there will be a place in the Galaxy, where constant war (with quests and so on) will be presented. There are ofc many details with this proposal, but this is real to be done. 3) Do you remember the SWG? I wish, we wold see some way to give quests to other players. How to do it - there are many ways, but it will make the world of SWTOR very live. 4) Would be good to see space combat warzones. The whole and main thing, i wish to say is, that i (and I don't think, I'm alone here) wish to see the live and dymamic world, that won't be limited by quests, 3 small warzones and flashpoints. We must be involved in the journey, adventure, we must be founders and explorers independently, if we are 1st LvL or maximum lvl. There must be things we couldn't do by ourselves po provide social activity and make us cooperate for the result - i m not only about quests, but about craft, trade, diplomacy and many other things. We must feel ourselves being involved in the Galaxy - leveled events, and not only as a main person there - this is given to us by the storyline, but as a member of a big team called the faction - either republic or empire.
