A very good point...having to PVE or buy BiS gear is bad enough. However, having certain classes that can take advantage of this oversight and others that cannot is a huge issue.

They are lvl 53 purples that are PVE, and are not balanced between the classes (the secondary stats are different and optimal choices are not there for all classes...I.e. main stat,end., power, surge). Bioware please fix this ASAP, or remove bolster from these slots/all slots. A 50 point advantage for each slot for the ones that have optimal stat combinations is totally imbalanced!

And at the op, my main on Jung ma was a sniper with a rating over 3000, and I have one of each AC except for a sin...so yes I do know of what I speak. I made that point so people knew this wasn't for my direct benefit. And you DON'T get the point that a team that can go 4 tanks and 4 heals has an advantage on defense in a void star vs a team that cannot...really...you can write complete sentences so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

You sir did not read all the posts...yes, that could be because that team didn't buy field respec, or it could also be because the 4 dps were some combination of snipers and marauders.

And remember, even if all characters bought it, not all AC's can switch roles. To the people who can't read the entire thread. Changing specs and changing roles are two totally different animals. Respec should be allowed before the match starts in regulars...and not at all in rateds.

Team one has great pvp'ers who are at the top of their classes on their server. They just happen to be 2 snipers and 2 marauders that cannot respec to tank or heals. You sir have made my argument for me...after reading your own post and applying this example can you truly say there is not a huge issue?

Respeccing before the start of the match changes huttball, but that's not as large of an issue as in match respec (void star break). To those that don't understand why snipers and marauders can change ROLES (not spec), I guess I don't have the ability to reach you mentally.(ps I am not a sniper or marauder). And finally, yes a role match making system is a fix that would balance the pregame makeup as well,but I believe they leave that out in order to shorten queue times.

Let me explain more eloquently then... Two teams play a void star. Team one plays 4 dps, 2 tanks, and 2 heals on offense and defense. Team two plays 4 tanks and 4 heals on defense, then respecs to 5 dps and 3 heals for offense. Does anyone think this is working as intended...doesn't this destroy the competitive value of the game. Team two would have a massive advantage.

The title states the main point. It vastly imbalances warzones. And to those that say everyone can do it...that is not true. Snipers and marauders cannot spec tank or heals. I almost never post, but this is high end pvp game breaking material. A dev should acknowledge that they comprehend that this is happening and imbalanced.

Yes this is sWalker...yes we did duel for credits. 500k a piece x 2 on ilum right after you land just to the right in the open space. Zohan or Cheesy ( I can't remember which jugg was with you as well). I don't lie, and I wasn't making the comment as I am better than you at the game because I beat a mara with a sniper. I was mentioning that you are the best mara on the entire server and I beat you in duels and every other DPS that accepted my challenges (for correctness: I didn't win every duel, but I did win every series of duels) while I was playing. And I beat them without using pots, which is more than I can say for most that dueled me. It was a response to some unknown that called me bad. I referenced you because of my high respect for your talent, not to dog you or to proclaim my superiority.
