That is interesting, I too have had an interesting result playing with settings.. I changed from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen and disabled "vsync". Which gave me no issue with scaling name plates. This led me to belive that full screen vsync was the culprit. So in this instance maybe it's both. Still would be nice to get a "Gold" post about it.

Must say the changes to the game are very welcome, if only the game launched like this. Same could be said about other mmo's, when they launched they were not fully featured as well. This game still has a long way to go but thus far I am having a hell of a fun time! GG Bioware Dev team, you definitely earned your pay!

Hey guys I am running the following PC i74970k 4.0ghz 16gb Gskill Trident X MSI 970 GTX GE 500gb SSD Liquid cooled Still having insane fps stutter and drops when name plate scaling is turned on? Anyone have any tips or know why? I would post in the customer service thread but its (read only) LOL. So there is no place to post tech problems... which for an mmo especially I find strange.

I know you can buy a game time card at Best Buy for example. Scratch off the code and email it. But ya a gifting system would be a lot easier.

well, I bought the $150.00 Collectors Edition, and I also Sub $15.00 a month. I would like to see more in game stuff and not 100% of crap in the CM. I know we get a CM grant of 500CM coins a month, I do not think it justifies 15.00 a month. I would like to see the CM grant increased.

This is the problem, this is the only game where we bust our azz to get raids and pvp done just for the stats... and not the great looking armor. This to me puts forth no true incentive. People in various MMO's always raided and did arenas to arena the best looking gear in the game, and have some pride come along with it. It would be nice to see Bioware put that kind of effort into a raid tier or pvp season. Just Saying....

Seriously, Is it possible to have raid tiers and pvp armors, to look as amazing and have the same time and quality spent on them as the cartel market stuff? I dunno maybe new set bonuses instead of the same recycled stuff? Is that really too much to ask? I mean we will still spend money on the cartel market as well as pay our subs. But in all seriousness this post is not meant to bash bioware, just to point out that for the people who spend time and money in this game running operations and also doing pvp. We bust our butts for this gear, the least you could do is make it look worth the effort and have set bonuses that reflect that. As it is now we raid and pvp for the stats and buy the armor from the cartel market to look cool..... something about that just sounds shady.

you are all missing the point here, which is why you are all getting nickel and dimed and have a smile on your face while bioware bends you over. sub cartel alotment is a joke..... there is literally nothing exciting to farm..... its called Star Wars the Old Cartel Market

Seriously, all the coolest loooking best and most fun stuff in the cartel market? -mounts, -pets, -items, I get the fact that some vanity needs to be in the cash shop... But wouldn't it be nice to see them put that much effort into a Raid Tier armor set? or PVP armor set? or hell how bout sick mounts that drop off bosses and or meta achievement rewards?? ( big orange box speeder doesn't count LOL) But seriously throw the subs a friggin bone. Give us something Bio-ware. Oh and btw lets shock everyone with the next operations tier and give us a 2 and 4 set bonus that's interesting and not copied from every other tier......... same since launch = lazy mode.

Even other mmo's out there put "farm-able" items in the game from time to time. I feel like anything new whether, pets, mounts, armor, items, are 100% cartel market.... In my and like the rest of the subscriber base's opinion.... throw us a fricken bone here. Give us something to farm in the game that can be obtained by effort not just cartel market. An example of this would be Tier armor sets from raids that Don't look like crap but actually look like they were made over the course of time it takes to think out a great idea not over a weekend. Also just to throw this out there....... compelling set bonuses they are interesting, and not the same reused 2 and 4 sets from launch...... this is just inexcusable laziness At present it feels like 95% of new in game item development goes to the cash shop and not things that are obtainable in game, which would give us more to do. I am currently returning to SWTOR after a few month break, due to personal reasons. I am looking for a guild that is in need of a tank that is knowledgeable at his class, is not afraid to research and min/max, and can make 100% raids. I have been raiding 3-5 days a week in World of Warcraft for 8 years as a tank, and also have raided as a dps and tank in SWTOR with full clears of EV + KP when it was current content, and then later on EC. I am looking for a guild that is willing to give me an opportunity, because I am a very solid tank and seasoned MMO Hardcore PVE raider. My gear is definitely behind as I just hit 55, but I work on my gearing every day. I agree with OP, They are using the same skins for pve and pvp gear that to me is lazy as hell. Also they did nothing to fix crafting in the game. The economy is dominated by Cartel Market items on the GTN....sad. All of this makes me feel like there is 10 people working at Bioware on this game. There is a reason BioWare that people are so harsh on the forums about this game. We all love Star Wars more than anything and wanna see the IP have justice done to it. Please show some passion when it comes to this game. If the game got some TLC and some more stuff to farm, pvp gear has its own look, and game engine optimazations, with large scale world pvp omg this game would dominate

How come the new gear has the same lame set bonuses as the tionese-columi-rakata? thats just mad lazy devs.... Also how come the pvp gear is the same damn gear as the pvp just a diff color......... LAZY seriously was this intended to make us subconsciously go spend money on the cash shop for armor that looks better than anything you can farm in game >?

I know for me that I only play because of this..... the game feels like it has no direction... and has a very very very small dev team.... will we ever see a true expansion??? will we ever see new classes and best mounts???? will we ever seee open world pvp??? will season 1 ever start ? will we ever get different set bounuses??? I mean seriously the only thing this game does is charge me 15 bucks a month and then charges me for a large content patch dubbed an xpac. and we also got naked pvp which has yet to be fixed or even adressed..... the game at this point is an utter failure.
