  1. 1. How do you think your Juggernaut spec is perceived by other classes? A) in PvP...this all powerful creature which can destroy all...and survive anything. Tanking PVE...horrible to hold threat like other classes...powertechs/assasins are better than jugs. DPS PvE ...at first they said PFFF DPS JUGGERNAUT?! but then I actually surprised our mara and mercs in guild when i beat them all in DPS did 502k dmg during HM Stormcaller/Firebrand (and wasnt even perfectly modded yet!) 2. How do you perceive your own spec? PvP spec(rage) its nice but sad that i cant even play in dps form due to the fact i will melt so fast...and Enraged Defence just eats up my rage so i cant really attack much when i use it...also annoying some classes get -30% dmg on aoes...making my main attack "meh" vs them. PvE Dps(vengeance)..I actually like it alot..i have no complains for pve except for Enraged Defence costing me Rage...which means i LOSE dps if i use it ever :S it should not cost rage at all since there is no auto attack in this game that helps build rage. PvE tanking (immortal)...I hate how u guys lowered our dmg in tanking..sure u increase the threat but lowering the dmg made it HARDER to hold aggro than pre 1.3...i had to aug full str to keep up with our unguarded dps during raids...all of our dps are very strong and to keep up need to pop a attack adrenal + attack relic + on-hit dmg relic :S and also i have a jedi shadow/powertech tanks...way easier to tank and mitigate dmg than on my jugg imo...something needs to be changed!
  2. hard to test since not sure how much dmg is reduced due to armor (like on a dummy)...but try popping enrage and see...it doesnt double the dmg... EDIT: I think i figured it out...i guess i will delete this thread... its basically 100% of ur dmg BEFORE the +20% dmg to get from talents...after u add that 100% to base...THEN add 20% of your original smash hit...so lets say i do approx 1600 dmg before the +20% dmg...double that...3300...then add the 400 dmg from the +20%....3700ish
  3. no...i am not talking about AFTER i use the attack on someone....ofc armor/expertise/etc factor in... I am talking about if i hover my mouse over the Smash icon...it says i do 2k...but when i pop Enrage to get 4 stacks of Shockwave...hovering my mouse over the button again..shows dmg as 3700...
  4. Need a dev to comment on this if possible... My basic Smash dmg is 2k 4 stacks of Shockwave should give my smash +100% dmg to next smash correct? and that should make me do 4k right? So why when i use Enrage to get 4stacks does it show my smash dmg as 3700ish? Is there a cap? a tooltip mistype? clarification would be nice Edit: Figured it out...its 100% dmg added BEFORE the +20% dmg to smash talents...once u double that and you add the +20% of the unbuffed smash dmg...then u get the 3700.

I think this ability was basically copy/pasted from THAT OTHER GAME...but 1 key thing that is important and different is that in this game there is no autoattack...so keeping rage up (esp in pvp) to use this ability AND attack WHILE being attacked by different players is very difficult indeed. So I propose the following: Remove the initial 4 Rage cost of this ability. In Rage tree instead of letting the Enraged Defence talent reduce cost of rage by 1/2...make it so that it gives a 50/100% chance to not eat up rage everytime you are hit. Leave the Vengeance Talent as is...-15% dmg taken is a nice bonus as it is. This rage cost is a nuisance for pve as well...since it drains dps by sucking up 4 rage then take out 1 rage everytime a dot/aoe hits...at least removing the initial cost it makes the usage more "fair" and inline with other rage dumps..and not be too painful on taking up rage. just my 2 cents.

Hello Joveth..I am one of the players on Lord Calypho...I think the following choices would be good: RP-PVP >>>> PVP RP-PVP >>>> RP-PVE or PVP >>>> Lord Calypho (RP-PVP) RP-PVE >>>> Lord Calypho (RP-PVP) or!!! (MY PREFERENCE) merge ALL the EU RP-PVP servers together...in our guild we have Greeks, Russians, Ukrainians, Arabs, Danish, and waaaay more....we are pretty open minded...and that would be cool (in MY opinion) to have 3 servers together...we will have alot of rivalry which i think is cool some racism is to be expected but thats everywhere...the rivalry part will be awesome tho French Vs Germans Vs Rest! esp with rated WZs! We have a very unique server since its a RP-PVP server...its kind of fun to announce you will kill someone in a "Grand" way before attacking them other servers you could do this but seem odd...here its all good! i would suggest for you to do a forum poll to see if ppl would like to join a RP-PVP server from other pvp servers or even RP-PVE...if the numbers are good...i would definitely have the option for others to join us! otherwise...i guess i would move to another PVP server if no one wants to join our merry server ; ;
  8. space ship battles...and if u have enough gear for spaceships like u do pvp armors that would be awesome...different stats and whatnot to make it more strategic...i would love space ship battles as a PVP thing not PVE...pve gets redundant after a while..pvp there is always a new foe (esp with cross server) you havent faced yet emp vs rep...or even reps hunting down a group of rep rogues endless possibilities! and you can have a new group of players join SWTOR for this.
  9. i like the new armors personally...i know some may look a bit off to some players...but all in all i like it i just worry that rated stuff wont be augmented meaning we cant use them and instead are forced to use regular orange critted stuff to get the best stats
  10. i say...if you get the new 1.2 pvp or pve gear...have a vendor that u can give ur item + either rated WZ comms or the new PVE comms to make an augment in the new rated pvp or pve gear. i like the new 1.2 rated pvp gear...why should i wear critted oranges that wont be as nice as the rated which i worked hard for? this solution is only for the highest rated new gear.

Just some things i would personally love to have, and i hope alot of you would too Legacy Valor Rank: Make this, for example, 10x what you would normally get in 1 rank of regular valor...so @ lvl 1 if you need 1k valor...u need 10k to reach level 2 of valor legacy rank..i think this is nice because it shows your overall pvp experience on all your characters...titles/mounts to be added to high ranks would be sweet as well as access to maybe some bind on legacy pvp gear that has a unique look to it (ranked/unranked versions would be even more awesome ) Legacy Social Rank: Same with Valor rank...grinding social is a pain(pleasseee dont make me redo 1000 BT normals on all my chars ; ...if someone spent hours on their account with 1 char..it should be reflected on others...again..can increase the rank by alot per level since it effects all chars...perks would be similar to my Valor Legacy Rank idea (mounts/BoL items/MORE social items which are BoL/titles/emotes!) Make Datacrons Legacy-wide: I had a good time hunting datacrons...was fun and frustrating at the same time...but i wouldnt want to do it again for all 8 of my chars as i am sure many would feel the same way :S I felt i put the time finding them all...so would be nice if thats reflected on all chars...ofc if you have empire only datacrons...you would still have to go get the republic only ones with this idea (so if you had an empire char with all the datacrons...and u decided to make a rep char..you would still need to go hunt the republic-only datacrons that you couldnt get to with your empire char)...I think this with an addition of future datacrons (like 200 more ) would make a very interesting hunt...can have class specific datacrons for the hardcore players also maybe But i know alot of you dont want to level 8 chars to min/max your chars (esp if you just want 1 char)...so you can at least make this feature FACTION-wide. this feature would cost credits to unlock also (a few mil probably ;p) Legacy Codex: Like the datacrons..SWTOR is based to make the game feel like "My story" so my adventures and logged events should be displayed on all chars...I think there should be a titles for unlocking the entire of your classes's codex events...then if you get say 4 of empire classes' codex filled u get an empire-type title (same with rep) and then if you get ALL 8 classes codex filled you get a special mount which is Bind on Legacy this will encourage some to also go hunt the "Lore" items around the SWTOR world and get rewarded for it also. Legacy Garage: All your mounts collected on say...your main...can use on your alt (if you have the right license to use). This is mainly cosmetic...but i think maybe in the future if someone doesnt like playing a jedi knight and they have been for ages..and wishes to roll a smuggler...why lose all the great things they farmed there? (like mounts from Operations...very expensive ones bought....etc). Can have a 5million credit cost to unlock this..or whatever is appropriate. Legacy Color Crystal Vault: some of you like me...got a white color crystal because we collect and it looks cool...wouldnt it be nice to use it on another char maybe in the future (after they stop going on sale and you have another char @ 50)...here would be MY restriction to this (to not harm crafters)...You open this Tab like you would for your Vehicles...and first there the different colors you own....red/green/blue/etc....you click on the color you want...and then it will show which ones you have in your collection(like lvl 34 red with endurance...or lvl 50 white with power...same way you "save a mount")....so people will still have to get a crystal from a crafter or whatever other means with the right level/type they want. Most people when leveling an alt wait to lvl 50 to truly customize their character's look (due to cost and the fact you dont stay @ that lvl for too long) and usually end up using "whatever best stat boost i get..regardless of looks until i hit 50" but this way...artificers can still sell alot of crystals of all levels...and buyers can use those crystals in the future...this feature would also have a unlock cost like the garage. I feel like this list has something for everyone (the PvPer...the FPer...the Lore hound..The Collectors) and would be a great addition to legacy
  12. i made a post regarding this yesterday: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=365356 To summarize..i think a better solution would give a 3 second "Daze" (or slow effect) after the immobilize effect wears...this is a much better solution to have that whole "Strong Juggernaut Charge; So strong...your head is spinning after being charged!" 3 seconds isnt long enough for u not u use ur regular slow..and it doesnt add to ur resolve bar...thoughts?

  14. +I agree with the OP I would love this "Multi-spec" to let us have 1 AC different spec...i would pay 20m for it too I have a jugernaut and i have plans to play all 8 classes for story..meaning i cant have a marauder on emp...and even if we had more than 8 chars allowed...why play thru the same story...get the same light crystals...mounts...etc...if you were a JAVA programmer...and wanted to use C++ or something...why cant u learn and go for it? why the restrictions? if you dont want to change ur AC then fine...but i hate players who say others shouldnt do it cz they only know how to play caster and wouldnt melee...so others shouldnt either :S be different bioware...give us freedom..most gear can be used for both ACs anyway
  15. It is a very overpowered Open World PvP ability...it has no risk involved unlike the Sorc version...and creates a very unfair and unenjoyable experience for everyone BUT JCs using it. But I don't want to just take something away from JCs...I believe in fairness...Replace it with an ability that can be used in places without companions(WZ/Ilum/Operations)...also...I think Sorcs/Sages should have a better talent in the first row of the healing tree than +% Presence and +1% healing...+Presence is something one would see perhaps at a legacy talent tree not a class tree. Hope my suggestion was fair and balanced.
  16. The issue most of you don't seem to WANT to understand...is that Unity is an ability with NO RISK involved...and NO OTHER CLASS has a 2nd "Companion and I" sort of ability. Unity is a super buff that not only ruins open world pvp fights...but also unfair for Flashpoints where fighting a boss in a certain phase that does alot of dmg...and bring a companion along to bypass it...in a way its more of an EXPLOIT. The SI version AT LEAST has a risk involved...if the SI uses it...u can just CC and kill the companion in 1 shot then come back...but even then...these 2 abilities should not exist...Someone above said "I would like Guarded by the Force" as a SI/JC...you have a similar type of ability that makes u immune to tech/force abilities for X seconds without a 50% HP reduction cost...seriously how hard is it to compare a class which has 2 open world ability to all others which have 1? the worst part about the people replying to this thread is they are assuming its the "Heroic Moment" ability...IT IS NOT...its something else on its own.
  17. Since you are mr pvp know it all...i will explain to you why ur wrong. 1. Doesnt matter if you get it at lvl 1. its an over powered ability...if you can't admit it..it just shows how selfish you are and just want to keep something you know should not exist for ANY class or should be available to ALL classes (maybe in different forms) 2. Really? :O guess what you usually have up when you are NOT in a WZ/Ilum-Warzone area? 3. So? There are things called Dailies...Datacron Hunting...Lore Hunting...Epic Monster Hunting...Or just plain exploring. All which allow companions to be up. 4. Speak for yourself...again proving that you only think about your needs and not others. 5. No there isnt...CCing lasts about 3-4 seconds on stuns...5-6 on some classes which have the break-on-dmg effect. but those usually get CC-broke Mr PvP know-it-all. Some classes may kite, like a sniper/Gunsliger or a Sorc/Sage (but those have this ability anyway so whatever)...but what about melee? and if they are stealthers...jump u..slow u right away ...then u try to kite..they can always just sprint to u...and if they are casters in open world...they usually dont need to chase u/be kited since they can get u from far away anyway...and this isnt a arena map...this is open world..some areas dont have LoS protection. Also, U know the thing called the Resolve bar? yea that thing which gives u about 2 CCs before you cant be CCed anymore yea..usually that means u can only be CCed for about 4 seconds..since the 2nd CC would be broken with ability. and also single target CC wont stop their companion from slowing/CCing u..or even dotting u(cant vanish) so u either remain in place or not be able to leave. Also you speak about a 1v1 scenario which doesn't always happen..u have 2v1 situations where u cant CC both because of another thing called COOLDOWNS! no wayyy...how did a smart person like you with all those nice points didnt think of that one? So MY situation was this: I am a Juggernaut...2 Shadows jumped me while doing dailies @ ilum...i killed them BOTH....then 5 minutes later get jumped again...altho this time...*** my dmg was nothing...got killed...something is not right...never seen them use that in Warzones before do some research and find out Bioware are geniuses. As for your "CC AND KITE! I AM SMARTZ" arguement. My 1 min Force Choke which stuns for 3 seconds (channeled..so the other person and 2 more companions kept attacking me...and also able to be interupted) and my aoe fear (which they just CCbroke...as they should have since its my longest CC)..only to be left with a force push...which they just sprinted back after using...and that, is also single target...which also meant 3 were still on me....normally even with the disadvantage of fighting 2 players...i would do my best to survive and finish them both..and use the basic tactics (kill ranged then melee)but now i do -50% dmg to ALL 4 for 15 seconds? I know you are a smart PvP God...but let me say this...incase u didnt already know...when outnumbered..u have to burst 1 quick..and then take care of the other...guess what you cant do when all targets take -50% dmg? Just be a rational person and admit the ability is overpowered and very unfair to the other classes which dont have a 2nd "Open World" ability....It will make you look wiser
  18. it was 2v1(2v4 with companions..which is even worse)...and in regular situations i wouldve killed them BOTH(i know because i did..then they came back thinking "hey...we got this God-Mod Ability that only we can use! )...and so you have poorly skilled players win due to 1 button abilities...really stupid bioware.
  19. this is not talking about the Heroic Moment...everyone gets those abilities at approx lvl 15...this is the lvl 46 ability that JC/SI ONLY have...PLUS the Heroic...2 "with companion" abilities
  20. yes this one and Jedi Consular one...which gives -50% dmg taken for FIFTEEN SECONDS Unity Instant Cooldown: 300s Unifies you and your companion through the Force, reducing the damage you both take by 50% for 15 seconds.

Sith Inquisitor version: lvl46 Sacrifice Instant Cooldown: 5m Sacrifices your companion to the brink of death to instantly heal yourself for 40% of your total health. This is SEPARATE from the +2% hp u get for 1 min with a defensive ability reset (the lvl 15 Heroic Moment one)..most seem to assume i am talking about that one...this is separate....they have this AND the Heroic moment.Gona just go right off and say whoever added the SI/JC ability that is usable with a companion for the game..or had the IDEA to add it..should be FIRED...and NEVER allowed to work with MMOs again. No other class has a "companion and i" ability like that which gives -50% dmg taken for FIFTEEN SECONDS/Emergency Heal (if SI)...if you want to keep it...give Warriors/knights a immunity to CC for 15 seconds...IA/Smugglers 50% dodge rate...and troopers/BH something as well...but my suggestion is to just remove it and restore FAIRNESS and balance to open world pvp....what u can use in WZs should be what u can use outside... Every other class has the "Heroic Moment" where u get HP regen for 1 minute and a reset of a defensive ability...why are these classes so special? and thats a good enough tool for ALL to use in Open World pvp emergencies when getting ambushed...at least all have it so its fair. but why..OH WHY did the very intelligent developers of SWTOR decide to give a class a massive advantage over others in Open-world pvp...its bad enough those classes have stealth so they get the first attack(or attack u when u are weak)...or sprint to flee...or heals/30m abilities that can kite u with (if sorc/Sage)...you give them 2nd life/HALF dmg taken for FIFTEEN SECONDS?! Why did you decide to add this to go the game bioware? Give us the community an answer to defend your choice...because so far...it IS favoritism..you could've made it a social ability if you felt that SI's should drain the life of their companion..or that JCs should rally theirs...but to have something this powerful for open world pvp exist..u essentially give a BIG unfair advantage to a fight. I want the community to join in on this...i know the JC/SIs wont since its to their advantage...but to everyone else its just plain stupid and unfair....yes i whined...but with logic and valid points. >>AGAIN<< NOT REFERING TO: Channel the Force Instant Cooldown: 20m Summons the Force to aid you and your companion, immediately finishing the cooldown on Electrocute and restoring 2% of maximum health every 3 seconds. I am having the same problem...i logged off @ Fleet next to pvp terminal...RIGHT infornt of it...try to access quests...says i am out of range...hmmm ok...asked ppl to share Qs...tried to go to my ship...stuck...as a Juggernaut..i interceded to someone running by...FIXED!...then went to ship...invisible wall wont let me go to ilum :( on the Lord Calypho EU RP-PVP server :/ EDIT: I tried to WZ...arrived in Huttball....spawned AT THE BALL LOCATION IN THE MIDDLE! D: then it kicked me out to fleet AFK area...tried to use the elevator...showed the animation that it "worked"...nope...still there @ the same lvl...but now no elevator button lol tried to quick travel to fleet....and didnt work! better fix this NOW bioware...even if you have to REMOVE and undo this entire patch!!
  23. yes i have also placed a complaint @another thread i just did: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=258448 constantly "pauses" for approx 0.75 of a second....may seem like nothing..but thats an eternity when you are about to interrupt a heal/CC in PvP :/
