  1. You know Bioware and its buggy end game content.... At 50% on hardmode Kephess pulls everyone into his giant 30 meter AOE, except his AOE hits you NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE ROOM.
  2. Yeah we did this boss the first week of 1.2 and had no issues, we spent all night on it and downed it. Then next week we wipe 4 times at 5% and then we cant spawn it anymore. Other guilds on the server even wanted to try it but couldn't because it still isn't spawnable. We all submitted tickets and no one got a response. GG BW you decided to step away from single player RPGs and try MMO RPGs, and so far you're kinda failing. How do you keep players interested in this game when your end game is broken and you don't do **** about it? The least you could do is give us compensation, refund our daily commendations. We are PAYING customers here, I don't feel like I'm being treated like one though.
  3. Not true. The night we downed it we had at least 10 wipes. Edit: Also if that were true people could use up all the attempts on other guilds. We went back there after raid and it still wasn't spawnable. Definitely a bug.
  4. This issue is definitely still in the game...I don't think it has been addressed yet either...
  5. Right so after a couple wipes the thing you click on to spawn him became untargetable. 30 daily coms wasted on yet another bug in the end game PVE... Not sure why we even put up with this garbage anymore. This trend of BS bugs in end game PVE needs to stop.
  6. I honestly even wouldn't mind if fixing this issue caused nightmare to be delayed a whole month, even though it shouldn't. If this issue is still around when they release nightmare Denova this game wont last much longer. Why should we pay 15 bucks a month to raid in a broken *** game Bioware? Explain that please...
  7. One day this issue will be fixed...hopefully not too many people have quit by then. The best part is, threads about "unbalanced" classes get 10 times more attention than threads like these. Guess I'm naive for thinking that bioware would give a damn about fixing end game PVE lol. WAIT! I GOT IT! SORCERER OP! NERF NERF NERF!! TOO MUCH UTILITY, AND BURST, AND SURVIVEABILITY!!! MUST NERF!!!! TOO REAL FOR LE COMMUNITY!!!!! k... should get a gold post by the end of the day...
  8. Well, you should know the answer to that... It is important because apparently its the reason your group cant down it. Believe it or not you DO have to kinda learn how to do these bosses before you will down them. I wonder what some of these people would have done in wow lol.
  9. That's why I said tier 4, 5, and 6, not sunwell. Sunwell was probably the hardest raid ever made in any MMO. Hardmode tier 11 was definitely harder than tier 4, 5, and 6 though. Just think about hardmode omnitron, even guilds that had it down for weeks still wiped to it 3-5 times a week just because of the ridiculous mechanics.
  10. Sunwell yeah, but there no hardmode in bc. I would say hardmode tier 11 as a whole was harder than t4, 5 and 6.
  11. ****... even I cleared 10/13 (sinestra 7%) in a guild that started like 2 months late.
  12. The excuse is always gear isn't it... Try playing better, that is the best solution. You may think that there is "nothing else you can do but get more gear," but that is NOT true 99% of the time. Maybe some of your DPS aren't using optimal builds, or they don't have optimal stat setups. Maybe some of your DPS suffer from latency. Maybe some of your DPS just simply didn't play that well on that particular attempt. There are a number of things that could have held you back. When you really know how to play your class what it really comes down to is uptime. This means reducing the amount of time that you aren't DPSing as much as possible with out dying or taking unnecessary damage. Good positioning can help reduce the amount of times you will need to move, standing too close to others could cause you to have to move out of someone else's AoE for example. Don't move more than you need to, don't move 20 yrds when targeted by a 10 yrd AoE, move 11-13. DPS while moving, as a lightning sorcerer I can shock when ever I'm moving, and if I'm still moving after that I could even clip affliction. Just little things like that go a very long way. You also seem to be unaware that you can use different mods and enhancements. Even in rakata and columi there are mods that have less endurance more dps stats, and some have more endurance less dps stats. You want to buy multiple pieces of gear so you can swap the mods around for optimal stats. Stack all mods with high DPS stats less endurance, and use properly itemized enhancements.
  13. The first intelligent OP I have seen in a very long time... <3 I agree with both of those suggestions 100%!
  14. I think there's a genre for that sort of thing... OH right! SINGLE PLAYER RPG...it's perfect! You can do all the content by your self, some of it is even challenging, and you get dat awesome loot for doing it! Bioware makes lots of those kinds of games too, Dragon Age Origins would be my favorite, big E-dragon at the end of that one. As for MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER GAMES, lets leave all the best loot in the 8, 10, 15, 16, 20, 25, 40, 80, what ever content...
  15. Yeah, that 4 man daily is pretty intense. Do Corelia dailies once a week (elapsed time ~20 minutes) 6 black hole comms. That is 9 weeks for a chest piece. 20minutes x 9 days of dailies = 180 minutes (3 hours). 3 hours of gameplay spread out over 2-3 months for the most expensive piece. Only 20-40% of this time spent playing with another player (1-3 other people tops), this is an MMO remember? Obviously you get the gear WAY faster by raiding, and there is no way to ever finish a set this way, but its a bit ridiculous that its even possible to get the same gear as top end raiders just by doing dailies, even just one slot. This seems harsh, but its true. I can agree with crafted gear, similar to what wow had where the patterns required mats from the raid and the patterns only dropped in that raid. Other than that, no, that is ridiculous. You already get way too many coms from story mode denova from those chests that give 4 coms each, but that is a raid at least. Gear is both a reward and tool. Unique loot reward upon completion of a challenging boss, there shouldn't be another way to obtain said loot period. The tool part comes in for even harder bosses, you need gear from boss A to help defeat boss B, makes sense... You just shouldn't get gear any other way or for any other reason. This is a Massively Multiplayer Online, Allowing players to get the best gear without having to do much MULTIPLAYER content is silly.
  16. What is the point of us testing this stuff on the PTS if we see the exact same bugs on live? Rather dumb, especially when every one in the raid reported that bug.
  17. You missed the point. There should be a way to just add an augment slot to my rakata. Crit crafting low level orange gear shouldn't be the only way to utilize augments.
  18. This Augment slot system is dumb. You have to keep crafting orange gear until it crits. more RNG based gear? guess they didn't learn their lesson the first time... THEN take all the mods out of your "top of the line" raiding gear, throw it in what ever orange gear you made, then get an augment for it. Don't get me wrong, I like that you can have any look you want, I really do. However, I think there needs to be a simple way to add an augment slot in level 50 gear. Like a belt buckle from WoW if you will. I shouldn't have to make 10 of every slot just to get an augment slot when I don't even care about the look, I just want to min-max. Thoughts?
  19. Yeah this bug was even on PTR, and I KNOW I reported it. This better be fixed soon... EDIT: This better be fixed before next lockout actually.
