  1. Yea I drop the 30% aoe reduction for dummy parses, I dunno how hard casting a PS vs including an instant PS can't be an increase in dps lol I posted mine the other day on Pg.14 http://parsely.io/parser/view/22399/1 That was the last one anyway, I'll try do a few tonight with the PS swapped in. Not that I'm complaining about my dmg, I'm doing enough on most bosses to get by but I know I can do more ;-)
  2. Yea not for the whole thing. I use the 2x Power surge to kick in an instant SS then PS when it's up, and switch out RS for PS until it's getting heated then start with the TSO, vent etc, just can't seem to do more than 4-4.1k with it, but if I just use your neutral one RS-UL-RS the whole way thru I can nail 4.5k on a 1mil dummy, it's weird. The guys in that other thread I posted before are saying to add a bit more surge and alacrity, I'm gonna run their sim tonight if I can errrr Aquire excel XD
  3. Ok so after browsing the forums I found This thread which includes a link to this Dps calculator I'm gonna suss it out when I get home and see what the verdict is :-)
  4. So I seem to have hit a wall with my dmg, maybe it's just a gear thing but I've been told of peeps in the same kind of gear knocking 4800+ over. At the moment I'm running 100.63% Acc, 516 Crit, 240 Surge and 1333 Power and doing just over 4500 on the dummy. I've tried switching in PS for RapS in my rotation i.e IM-MS-PS-MS-SS-TD-PS-UL-PS and I seem to come up short on dps, like 500 short, over the course of a fight I get around 4k using PS and 4.5k without it, I even switched utilities to the 2x Power Surge to add in another instant PS after SS when PowS is up and it's the same again, around 4-4.1k while utilising SupC on UL when it procs so I'm wondering if the hard cast time makes it dip that much compared to RapS which is 3 quick shots but keeps the damage up. So just wondering if anyone has any pointers on this
  5. That was mine btw not KDT's Yea I nvr run hot, until i start kicking in MB works awesomely I tried going back and using Marisi's rotation, wrote it all down, did it perfect a few times, and did 300dps less than this rotation...apparently thier one is the **** but I cant get it to crank harder than this one
  6. Should be OK in SM with that number you only need to be over 2600, I do about 3100 with IO (Assault) and a bit less with Ars (Gunnery) for Underlurker you should be Gunnery anyway coz its a bursty kind of fight, but I reckon i do more with IO...each to their own I guess XD I've been talking to a bloke about my setup and he was saying about 500 Crit rating should do, as anymore the DR kicks in hard, I had 795 and dropped it to 516 and added power, tbh i didnt really notice much of a difference tho and also to switch in 1 Alacrity piece (I use an Earpiece) with an alacrity augment (I run 163 atm 111+52) so I now have 13 Aim and 1 Alacrity.
  7. This was my latest parse if you can read Imperial, so you can adjust your rotation to suit http://parsely.io/parser/view/22399/1
  8. You can switch out your 2 crystals for crit if it helps you, if you're losing dps tho try switching 1 back in and have another go, I'm up to 38% crit now buffed and smacks like a PIMP!
  9. Hahaha I'm wondering the same thing ^ lolz
  10. Question, with the stationary mounts do you have to make your own noises, or can we record sound on a holo and use that? I'm really looking forward to getting my log out on vaiken and showing it to everyone...XD
  11. Do you rate using more alacrity? I would have thought the loss of the other stats would hamper the results for 0.10sec less or so. All I have currently is 1 piece of alacrity in a 192 earpiece (111 stat) giving me like 3.29% or something with the passive 2%
  12. Do you have all of your Augments done? That will help put your Aim up to 4500, crit up about another 2% as well. Get those and you'll be cranking out around 4.2-4.3 easily. Make sure you use the dummy debuffs as well, bought off the little droid on your ship, 1mil health debuff and you can use the armour debuff as as well, that makes it more like a raid boss with everyone else's debuffs on it :-) I finally switched out my surge earpice for an alacrity one and picked up my 2nd 192 relic on Sunday night, this is my latest parse http://swtor-parser.elasticbeanstalk.com/parser/view/17397/0
  13. Yes that makes sense, Waste some cash on purple affection off the GTN or if you can afford the $40 buy a Cartel Market 24 pack as they have a heap of companion affection items in them as well :-)
  14. Should have them all really, at least your original ones anyway
  15. Yea sorry, I did a reply to this but it didn't post :-( I'm 822 Accuracy and that's 100.63%, I dunno how you're getting your numbers there... Do you have your purple augments in? Because your Aim stat is waaaay low, put in all slots (except 1 if u need acc) Advanced Reflex Augment 36 that will pop your Aim up to around 4500 and also enhance your crit as well, make sure you have all the Aim & End datacrons as well ;-) By the looks of things you're linking your Crit chance bonus stat by itself without the base 5%, so really you're at 30.16%, with the smuggler buff 'Lucky shots' that will pop you up to 35.16% and with purple augments that will net you another...maybe 2% or so and then you'll be on track :-)
  16. Maybe this'll help, The only difference here is they say 400+ crit for both which is around 28% from what people have been telling me and what I've read in this thread stack it until about 700-750 and see what happens to your dps, when it starts dropping, and you will notice it on parses, take a mod out put in a power and you should be right.
  17. You're low on Surge, so your power wont hit hard, Surge 240+ Drop out a crit enh for a power surge one, get 2x crit implants, 2x crit crystals and mods, enh's Acc/Power, Crit/Power or Power/Surge (until you cap). Also are you sure that Acc stat is right? 863 rating should be about 101-102%, try to get as close as you can to 775. Currently I run a Boltblasters MK-2 earpiece (Crit/Surge), 2x Resurrected Eliminators MK-V Implants, (Acc/Crit) 2x Crit crystals, Mods: 5x Power 4x Crit Enhancements: 5x Acc/Power 1x Crit/Surge 1x Power/Surge Augments: 14x Advanced Reflex Augment 36 This gives me in my gear (192/198) - 4554 Aim - 1064 Power - 822 Acc (100.63%) - 775 Crit (37.70% with buffs) - 351 Surge (68.82%) I'm high on surge by 111 and thats my earpiece. I need to swap that for something else Maybe a Combat medics one for the Alacrity. So try dropping a crit enh for a surge one, or Implant w/e cap that and you should be right
  18. This is in ranged, all companion 1% buffs, Advanced Reflex stim and all class buffs. Accuracy - 100, This ensures your target cannot dodge your shots. Surge (Crit Multi) - 240, apparently due to the Advanced targeting passive we have, which ignores 30% of the targets armour, we only need 240 rating to cap. Crit - Like I said above, 28% for a burst spec as you benefit from having the higher power stat, and more crit for a DOT spec, I'm at 775 and find my dots do some wicked damage, but once you reach that area in similar gear you'll need to play around and see what's better for you to put in, I found when I dropped power/aim past this point I dropped in damage.
  19. Surge IS your crit multi btw XD My Merc Ay'li is full set 192 with 4p set. I run, i think, 100.62 Acc or there abouts Surge at 351 (I need a new earpiece to drop this to 240) and crit at 775. The way I figure it is, 1.Higher power and 28% crit for direct or burst damage specs as the extra power hits harder than having a higher crit value. and 2. Having higher crit on a DOT spec makes your DOT's burn harder and crit more often giving you more damage. I played around with a few different mods, and found that the higher I went the more damage I did until a certain point, I reached 775 and replaced a +52 power mod with a +48 crit mod (making my crit 823) and the damage output dropped considerably, Maybe this is because the AIM on the mod was higher on the power mod than the Crit one, but either way I really noticed a difference. My suggestion would be to swap out power mods for crit until you reach around 750-775 and then try and balance it out. Here is my latest parse using this technique - http://swtor-parser.elasticbeanstalk.com/parser/view/15558/2
  20. Wow....How can you guys do this cosmetic bollox and NOT add in something ACTUALLY useful like an Equipment manager and dual spec... http://dulfy.net/2015/03/20/swtor-outfit-designer-guide/
  21. Yea I agree, most fights now people are switching spec single target to dot etc it'd save a lot of time And messing about
  22. Initially It was more just to track who had 2/4 set and save wasting time with peeps checking their gear to see who had what and wasting time, We just added the SK list so everyone could see who was up and where we were, it saved a LOT of arguments XD
  23. Any word from a dev to Consider this or a why maybe?
  24. I would love to but I'm currently mid slavery session aka: At work XD
