  1. Greetings! I am interested in an NiM progression team. I am available as a DPS and a Healer. Though I prefer healing most of the time, I am also above average with DPS. unfortunately I only parsed 8.5k on the dummy today. It has been a few years since i parsed on a dummy, but my gear rating right now is 246. I also only have 4 of the 236 augments. The rest are min/max of 228. For DPS I run a Vig Guardian. I also have an Imp side Jugg and legacy gear. I also heal on a Sage and Sorc, again with legacy gear. I have alot of skill and knowledge in both and I enjoy doing both. I have done progression raiding with both as well and know most fights, with the exception of Temple of Sacrafice, HM and NiM mechanics. I could also tell you that I completed EC NiM under 2 hours for the achiement, but we both know there was a period of time before they scaled up to level cap that lots of people face rolled it. I also have experience as a raid team leader for the better part of 2 years. Though I do not wish to lead, I have the understandings of all classes and mechanics and how everything flows together. You times and dates work great for my schedule. I do run with my friends on Wednesday nights and sometimes firday or saturday as a fill in for fun. Never will I have my toon locked out for our sunday and monday runs.
  2. Hey everyone! I've had a lot of friends ask about my Naga and Orbweaver set up. I've thrown a quick video together to kind of show how I use it. I've been using this setup, or something similar with the Nostromo, since I started playing this game and I love it. I use this set up for any other MMO I play.   3. Anyone else have an issue not receiving their free level 60 character token? I have been a subscriber forever, including the time frame required to be rewarded one. I've gone to the character select screen and try to create a character and it just tells me that I am able to purchase a token on the Cartel Market.
  4. Hey! Im a Guardian/Juggernaut Vig/Veng looking for a progression team on the Imp side. I am on the East Coast and I am looking for raid days during the week. I currently have my 6 piece set bonus (some 216, some 220, and some 224). I have had much experience in all of the operations. Here is my operations clearance as of now, all clears were when they were progression, not facerolled as lvl 60/65: EV SM/HM/NiM comp. KP SM/HM/NiM comp. EC SM/HM/NiM comp, TfB SM/HM comp. SnV SM com HM 5/7. DF SM comp HM/NiM 4/5 (both). DP SM comp. ToS/RAV SM comp HM 3/5. I wasn't part of a progression team when DP and DF were progression, but I've researched fights and know them as much as I can from watching/reading. I main DPS on my Vig/Jug but I second a Heals Sage/Sorc, and can Tank on both my Guard/Jug. Anything else you'd like to know please hit me up.   5. Hey there! I'll throw a message in through Enjin when I get home but I just wanted to touch base. I'm currently looking for an HM/NiM progression group. I've had lots of experience running ops as a healer, tank, and dps. I also lead a progression team through the 1.2-2.5 era. I have dabbled in pugs and a few different guilds but haven't found my place yet.

  7. having that issue as well. I can connect to every other server. I was in the middle of a cut scene when it kicked me out and said there was a problem with the connection.

  9. You're right, but you can tell Bioware doesn't add much in the way of content, so an easier thing to do, or the Bioware thing to do, would be to revamp older content and make it relevant at the current level cap. Kind of like what they did with TfB when RotHC was released.

  11. Just a thought I have running through my head: With the new 12x story exp, LOTS of players are getting to endgame really fast. Granted, there is quite a bit to do, but that won't last too long. An awesome way to add more endgame content without actually adding much content would be to: 1- Grab all the flashpoints and add a higher tier of difficulty, i.e Taral V Master Mode 2- Grab the old flashpoints and add a higher tier of difficulty, expecially with the lvl 50/55 ones, i.e Eternity Vault Master Mode. 3- Take the 50-55 Daily sections (Black Hole, Section X, Belsavis, etc.) and add an area near each with lvl 60 missions to add to the daily area 4- Add more incentive to do the current lvl 60 daily areas like Ziost and Yavin, i.e up the credit reward. Don't get me wrong, I understand there is a lot to do at endgame but some of it (Black Hole and Section X) isn't very appealing, (except the credits) or challenging. TL;DR Take old content and add/revamp for all the lvl 60 characters you have running around now.
  12. Just an FYI, my friend that I am running through a Knight with is experiencing this issue now. Though we are running all missions together, I did not encounter this issue. It is a shame that this bug is still in the game since launch, it would seem. C'mon Bioware, I know you're better than this. I understand this might be a hard bug to duplicate and find a solution but c'mon.
  13. Has nothing to do with "Status Wars." I'm no elitist by any means. Best reason to have this x12xp is for those who have done the planet missions 2-3 times already (therefore earning the high legacy level). Otherwise you get a brand new sub come in with 12xp boost and all the do is main class missions. Then all the additional content is going to waste and what is the point of that content being there in the first place? Yes, we will all have to level a little to get to 55 but most of everyone does FPs, PVP, Ops, and dailies on 1 or more toons so thats where the experience comes from.
  14. yes that is the point. expand the legacy system a little bit. It's been a LONG time since they've done much in there.
  15. At first look, it does seem to be a nerf. But that's when I think of the time when TfB HM was still progression. Since those days, there is nothing wrong with force management and I actually complain a lot that the most fun/challenging part of Sage/Sorc healing was gone and that i never really have to use Noble Sacrifice/Consumption during HM progression fights. Those of you doing anything less than the last 2 bosses on either HM Ops need to get a better team who doesn't stand in stupid all the time and learn triage. This, obviously, is from a PVE only viewpoint as I never PVP on my Sage/Sorc.
  16. I think F2P is done right. They are lucky they can get in and play all the stories from front to back without paying a dime! That alone is a handout. With that being said, I have pitched this game to ALOT of my friends for they story alone. Just about all of them ended up paying a few bucks here and there for some quality of life unlocks. 80% of them ended up liking the game and tried a sub for a few months here and there. And a few are full subs. People these days just want everything for free. But quess what, it took/takes people spending time and money, (ie a company who employs people for a living), so you cant expect them to sit there and just hand out a product for free. F2P lets people tip their toes into the game and see how it is. Don't like the restrictions, $15 a month is not that much. You don't get to goto GameStop and get games in there for free, do you? It is this new entitled mindset in people, mostly this new generation but now I've seen it spreading to all generations Can't afford something? Get a job/decent job and pay for it, Gotta work for stuff in this world.
  17. Although I am not totally sure how they will be implementing this, this is just my two cents: The 12xp boost should only be available to people with ATLEAST a minimum legacy level of 55! Expanding the legacy level not only will require around 3 lvl 50 toons. The x12xp boost should be designed for players who have already played through all the planet stories and just want to get the story or the class they are now playing. If you make it available to anyone through cartel coins, you are totally discrediting all the additional content on the worlds. All the time and money that was put into EVERY SINGLE planet quest will have just been wasted. Granted, I cant see the data on how many players are actually playing those, but I do know that I don't have a choice but to play through them here and there to keep my level around the quest level +/-2. TLDR; Make x12xp bonus a lvl 55(or 60) legacy perk. Don't throw away all the world quests players have to play to maintain a decent level.
  18. SOOOO glad they pushed it back 1 week. I'll be in town visiting family and my sister's wedding is the weekend before! WOOO, my wife even agreed to stay an extra 3 days so we could attend the event!!! Oh, the joy's of driving for vacation!! I've missed 3 of these by just days in Seattle, NY, and Texas, FINALLY!!!! WOO!!!
  19. how does taking Slash off mean I take Dispatch off?? Not sure you understand. Slash<Dispatch in damage and the focus-dmg ratio is much higher and acceptable. This is why most players don't post on the forums. Because of pompous people like you. Sorry I tried to share some advice. You think your the master Vig Guardian around here? Try out my advice for yourself and you will see. Good day, Sir.
  20. Alright, ill share some advice then since you're calling us out. Take Slash off of your ability bar. Through all of your analyzing i'm suprised you advise people to use Slash at all, anywhere in your rotation. It the focus-dmg ratio is not worth it and you should never need it to fill in anywhere, ESPECIALLY if you have both 2Pc set bonuses. I'd also advise to get your Saber Throw set bonus first so you can get in the habit of getting ST in your rotation. You can hit 3750dps in mostly 72/75s without EVER using Slash. Other than those 2 things, very solid guide! Well put together.
  21. I hhave recently returned from a 5 month hiatus due to Army stuff. All I have been reading here on the forums is mostly QQ, like always. I play, and have always played, Vigilance, and am ALWAYS viable in PVP and PVE. When played right, which mmeans knowing strengths and weaknesses of all classes, Vig Guardians are #1. You hhave high DPS and high survivablility if you know the class, end of story. You mmight not always top the charts, but your job is to reduce damage output from the top dps classes (taunting) and laying the preassure down on the healers. And everyonce in a while DEMOLISHING whatever class wants to 1v1 you at the time. Learn your DOTS, DONT spec into the MS root (if you leap and move behind them THEN MS youll be fine) and use freezing force when applicable, you will hhave no problem doing the job our class is designed for. If you eant to QQ about a Vig Guard, go play another class, because you jjust aren't doing it right.
  22. I haven't played Wow but since I heared about arenas possibly coming I did some research. They sound fun, but from everything I read, balancing classes turned into a big problem and jacked up how PVE'ers roll. An idea that I think would help elleviate this problem, and should have been done before with class balancing (RIP Vanguard DPS) is that certain abilities and talents work one way in WZ's/Arenas/PVP designated areas and another way outside those areas. I know it sounds like it potentially could get confusing but it will help keep balancing fair on both sides of play styles. I love to PVP and PVE. Or even like most of us do now, each class has a PVP spec and a PVE spec.
  23. As the OP stated, he hits his normal tantrum at around 15% then regenerates to 35%. I think there is some confusion in here. He does not hit tantrum at 35%. All 3 raid teams in my guild have experienced this bug on every run since nightmare was released in 2.2.
