  1. Congrats to those of you that recently made member/raider rank. Glad to have you aboard!
  2. Yeah great turnout tonight! Thanks to the rest of the members who made this happen.
  3. Good points to consider. I will play around with these builds and ideas and see what works out the best.
  4. Thanks folks...this will help her(and me, as I am the tank she will be mainly healing).
  5. Hey all. I am working on helping my wife with her healer build for 2.0. What do you guys think about this build? http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/jedi-sage/224/?build=232012202122120001220230031001000023000200000000000000000000000000020000000000000000000000000000&ver=20
  6. What do you guys think about this build? The idea is keeping full defense without the master strike buff, but taking talents to keep some of my mobility up. http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/guardian/225/?build=003222120212120222122101023000100302000000000000000000000000000000200000000000000000000000000000&ver=20

  8. This thread is to serve as an informational thread to show the gaming communities that are represented on Jedi Covenant. For those who don't know, a gaming community is a group of gamers that spread multiple games, not just one. They may have a presence in other MMO's and even other types of games such as FPS games, RTS, etc. It is great for people such as myself who play multiple games and would like to see familiar faces each stop along the way. I am currently looking for a GC myself, but I wanted to run this thread in order to help other like minded folk to do the same thing. If you represent a GC please list the following information below: Gaming Community Name: Faction(This Server): Name Of Guild(This Server--If Different From GC Name): Website: Year Founded: Games Your GC Is Represented In: Synopsis/Description Of Your GC:
  9. You are a stickler lol. Look at the bottom, i just put a note/disclaimer down there just for you.
  10. I averaged the PVP together into one category and then averaged it into the main. I then looked at the total and felt from my personal opinion that some other unlisted features(such as gear design, artwork, etc) was worthy of giving it a slight bump, which made me arrive at my 7.5
  11. Made a couple of edits, and added in my PVP review. Changed the total to a 7.5 because I had forgot to include my thoughts of open world PVP.
  12. Here is my opinion of the game currently. Hopefully people will agree and the Devs will read as well. http://www.geekvigil.com/star-wars-the-old-republic-my-current-take/
  13. Hey all. So my focus is currently raiding. My guild is currently working on HM Ops so I am mostly in Columi/Rakata gear. I have been going Pyro, then I tried AP last night and, while it was pretty fun, I think Im going to go back to pyro. I really enjoy the versatility of the Pyro build. That being said, I have a couple questions. TD/Steely Resolve/Puncture: Ive been currently running with Steely/TD and skipping out on Puncture. Any thoughts on if this is optimum or not? Rotation: Rotation priority has been mostly RS, IM,TD, RP, FB, and fill with RS when high on heat. Is this the right idea or should I tweak that some? Gear: The two set bonuses for my current gear the RS damage and the -15 sec on EF......Are those really worth it, or would augmented +Aim pieces with my set mods moved over be better? Thanks in advance.
  14. I have heard go no TD, and no burnout...ive heard it the other way around. What is your opinion. What I have put together for pyro is this: http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/bounty_hunter/powertech/#::fef5ef5ef8ef16e8de2fef2efe: What do you think?
  15. Hey all. Let me preface this by saying that I do some PVP, but I am primarily a raider and will be focusing on making my character as helpful to my raid as possible. I am moving from Shieldtech to one of the DPS trees but am having some problems weighing the pros and cons. Also, I would like to hear for sure the take on what powertech DPS will be after 1.2 as well. Any help and insight you guys could provide would be much appreciated.
  16. I have been playing this game since August in beta, and now have a level 50 Powertech. Now, just to note, this is NOT a quitting/rant thread. I intend very much to keep subbing, because I love this game and wish very hard for its success. I know that there are some things coming up in 1.2 that sound enticing, and hopefully they scale as they need to make this happen. That being said there are some points of contention that need to be resolved for moving forward. I will refer to these as the lack of posts. 1. Lack of meaningful and hard raids -- Ops are at this point in time way to easy and need to provide an ongoing challenge. Raids that require quest chain for attunements would be nice. 2. Lack of shiny -- Currently most of the endgame armor sets are lackluster. They provide little visual incentive to earn. Weapons(besides assault cannon) don't really show unless zoomed upon. 3. Lack of social -- no pazaak, sabaac, dueling area in fleet, world events, holiday events. 4. Lack of features -- no combat log or 3rd party add-ons. 5. Lack of meaningful guild features -- right now it is just a collection of people. Need in game incentives(I know bank is on the way). A guild pauldron would be a nice touch. 6. Lack of streamline travel -- this seems like it is getting some work in 1.2, very much thanks bioware. Plus, mounts seem lackluster. I don't want flying mounts but they need some work in their present state. 7. Lack of story continuation -- Patches need to provide a brief continuation to the single player story. Overlord and Arrival DLC's for ME2 are a perfect example of what I am talking about. I may add more to this later. This is not "make SWTOR like another mmo", its just some of my observations that would make things better.
  17. Here is a thought, and it might be a crazy thought.... People are trying to judge the server based on people IDLING in the fleet. Could it be that every since people have hit max level, they are actually out doing things. The people who rushed to 50 complained they couldn't find groups, now people are finding groups and have their own lvl 150 PVP bracket and people are complaining about the low fleet populations. Pick one way or another people! /sigh
  18. 1. Find the 12 keys you use the most 2. Put them on the top bar. 3. Buy a Razr Naga. /thread
  19. Very tiny and minor complaint, but please change the name. JK, JC, BH, IA, Troop, and Smug do not receive "sith corruption"....they may get dark-side corruption but anybody who has followed any sorts of Star Wars lore should know that Sith and dark-side are not always the same thing. Change the option to "Show Dark Side Corruption"
  20. Read it, not deleted it, found the NPC, then back for a screenshot?
  21. Not trolling dude. Its funny how these noobs have changed the definition of "troll" to be somebody they dont agree with from its original definition of being somebody who post provocative things that have no conversational value but do so to only cause attention. If you looked at a previous post I said pop was around high 30s to low 40s. Pretty sure that falls in line with what you just said. If thats where the population is at mostly, then why are you freaking out about lower level zones? You have just proven your point.
