  1. Another post claims they're doing a Roll Back. And that this is the second one in an 8 hour span. Which leaves me wondering if they are going prior to yesterday evening? Or if this was all just, what was for me, "Early Morning"? I guess I'll find out soon enough.
  2. I have a reasonably fast internet connection. And while its not a Gb/s, or higher, 150 Mb/s is plenty fast enough for most online games. But today I'm left downloading the latest patch at ~10 Kb/s. And all I can say is: Bioware/EA you better get your act together! This is NOT winning you points with anybody.
  3. OMG!! (Double Face Palm) Thank You!
  4. Let me try to explain this again... (Sometimes I just FAIL at communicating!) My characters have Moddable gear. And I have several characters that used to make the different parts I needed to keep that gear upgraded. Now My characters have out leveled their gear and I need to upgrade. So I'm familiar with the crafting process. Though obviously It's changed in the last few months. What is happening goes like this: I open up the Crew Skills and click on a crafting skill (like Cybertech), then I select the item I want to make and check that I have the materials, then I select a companion to craft it... And in the past I used to right click on the item's Icon to queue up the number of items that I wanted to make. This last part is NOT working for me. Now I am aware that you can now buy crafting "slots". But I'm subscribed so I should have the normal 3 slots. But I wonder if their is a flag on the servers that's preventing me from crafting? I can gather basic materials. I can send companions on Crew Missions. I just can't make anything. Is this a bug? Or has something changed that I'm not aware of...? Now I've looked all over the site for this information. And it tells me everything I already know how to do. But completely skips the part about how to actually start making something.
  5. Actually I DO Know what I'm experiencing: I open up the Crew Skills panel, I select the crafting skill (Like Cybertech), I select the item that I want to make, and make sure I have the materials; then I used to Right Click on the item's Icon to queue up the number I wanted to make... That last part is what's NOT working. And I've looked all over the site for any information about this and nothing is available. They literally tell me all the stuff I already know. And skip right over the part where things stop working. Sadly though you are probably correct. Even if they did offer phone support for issues of this type. The average call center flunky won't know this information, or even care in the least. And that's really short sighted for a company like EA. And I created a thread on the Crew Skills section of the Forums. But I've got No Response.
  6. Well it seems that all I can get is "in-game" support. Which takes forever.... So I came to the SWTOR site to find some answers. And that's when I encountered this "run around" tactic. It makes me wonder why I keep paying them a subscription when they won't help me. @Maddutchman - Phone support is ONLY for Account related issues. I'm probably experiencing a bug. But I can't verify that until I can communicate with someone.
  7. This site's "Support" link sends you to EA Help. And EA Help suggests you come here for "Support". Are you people stupid? Or are you just too cheap to provide "Support"?
  8. OK, so I've crafted in SWTOR before. I'm not quite to 500 on any of my crafting skills but a few of my characters are close. So I have the skill required for what I want to make. And I have the ingredients. And I have the companions available... But clicking, right clicking, shift clicking, ctrl clicking, or whatever; will get any of my companions to go to work. What is going on? I've now decided that this must be a bug on some kind. But what frustrates me is that my ONLY option is to create a ticket and the last one I created took 25 days to get a reply. And then they completely failed to resolve the issue or even attempt to give me some answer. THIS IS NOT REASONABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
  9. I for one support this idea! I have characters of every class at various levels. And I'd like to get friends into SWTOR for the first time, but NOT under the current conditions. I simply will not ever start another character from scratch... NOT in a Million Years!!! And I'm sure that plenty of others feel the same way. So EA / Bioware needs to wake up and get with the program. I seriously cannot think of any other "MMORPG" that is lacking this feature with the exception of SWTOR.
  10. I'm getting disconnected repeatedly. And my server showed a low population the first time. So I know its not just the number of players on the server. And I also know this wasn't happening prior to today's patch... And its not just the random disconnects that get me. Its the laggy gameplay. Which makes actually fighting an exercise in frustration. Skills don't function properly, though I admit that some were already bugged. There's nothing like trying to use a skill and the game simply doesn't respond. So I thought "... it might be my internet connection". But Netflix and YouTube have no issues streaming. So I don't know of any other reason for this to be happening but your servers. And since it really makes the game Unplayable I'll just go play something else.
  11. First off, if they have only "4 waves" for the first day they are STUPID. And SR posting crap like that is inflammatory. If BioWare can't find people who understand PR better than that they're in for trouble. Still I really seems the Invites are sporadic at best. And the one guildmate of mine, who is still currently playing, never got an "invite". So something is messed up.
  12. This is true. But then again they might still be unsure about how much they can load the servers. I have no idea.
  13. I would rather have had a queue. But I doubt they will change it now...
  14. That's about what I thought it might be... But its still not very helpful. I mean if that was the case I should have access by now. Or maybe I do, but it hasn't registered with their system. Either way I keep trying to log in. A guildmate of mine got in the first wave and never got an email. (And NO I seriously don't think we was trolling me!)
  15. The only real solution is to make the character you want, then name it. I've seen this before where it doesn't release names when you delete a character. All you can do in that case is keep trying.
