  1. 3 days for 1 lost day isn't a terrible deal to be fair.
  2. Thats how i read it, but given todays 'interesting events' I just want a bit of clarifications before I go duping crazy.
  3. So does that mean its ok to legacy transfer crystals to unlock in collections?
  4. The actual bannable offence is confusing though. By some peoples logic if there is a way to pay cc for something and a way to get it free, then the free way is likely an exploit. This seems to make sense. So by that method, I can pay CC and dye all my armour black piece by piece or I can just dye the chest and use unify colours ( a pre 2.1 feature, just like transferring crystals). Is that an exploit then?
  5. So I can see how duping a crystal from the collections menu then sending it to alts could be considered an exploit. Makes sense. But. Say I buy a CM crystal from the GTN (or the CM), then using a legacy weapon send it to a couple of alts (which you could do pre 2.1, i've used crystals on toons before 2.1 then changed my mind and sent it to an alt instead) is that an exploit? If i swap the spec on my Vanguard to a dps spec and then send my +41 endurance Derelict Purple crystals to my shadow so he can make use of them (something i've done pre 2.1) is that an exploit?... ... is this lamp an exploit? Am I an exploit? The PR guys really need to clarify this pretty quickly as the situation right now is confusing at best. Hell even if they detailed the exploit so we knew BUT made it absolutely clear that its bannable and they will enforce that ban. That can't hurt right?
  6. I just find it odd that anyone would want higher repair costs, surely if you have so much time to grind out dailies everyday you'd rather have those credits to spend on something else instead of repair bills. It would be like wasting £100s a month repairing an old car because you have lots of money instead of using your vast wealth to buy something nice. Its almost cutting your nose off to spite your face. One of the beauties of this game, for a time, has been that you could log on for a couple of hours a day and just do the content you enjoy and choose to do without being forced into a grind or content that doesn't interest you.
  7. An interesting point on the subject of doing dailies to fund any activiity... I tend to see it like this, there are 3 types of end game content (broadly). Group PVE (FP,s Ops), PVP and Solo PVE (dailies). Each one of those types of content should earn you enough money to support continuing that content, not necassarily allow you to get rich off that content alone, but to at least cover the cost of repairs, consumables that sort of thing. I think this change may now have stopped the ability for group pve to provide enough credits to pay for doing group pve. Some people enjoy dailies, I myself do them every so often and enjoy them. But no one should be forced to grind them to fund playing a part of the game that they enjoy. Thats like having a job to support doing something I enjoy, I already have one of those, it's called my JOB.
  8. Eventually there won't be any billionaire GTN players, if people spend more money on repairs they will have less money to buy gear from the GTN. OT: Last night i ran the PVE Ilum event dailies on one of my DPS guys, 1 death and just taking hits, after turning missions in and selling grey items I was just 5K up after repairs (didn't see the repair cost as I didn't know about the change at that point). That's just nuts! EDIT: And because i don't like to complain without providing a solution. Lower repair costs for death (obv) and eliminate damage on hits. You should be incentivised to stay alive not punished a little bit less. And while i think a death penalty is fine it needs to be lower to compensate for deaths that were some other numpties fault.
