Yeah, this is going to be a leader-board probably comprised purely of watchman sentinels in full 224 gear who are parsing 7.4K, with good computers that can get past the load screens very very quickly.
A lot of classes are disadvantaged here. For example DPS Shadow stands NO CHANCE because it's currently the worst class in the game. People like me who can take up to a minute to load in due to older hardware are guaranteed to loose. People without 224 gear and who don't know the PvE rotation (which means PvP'ers) are going to loose too.
Frankly this whole contest is kind of a bad idea to begin with. Only a handful of classes will be able to win it (Watchman/Combat Sentinel, Tactics Vanguard, the one Gunslinger class).
I mean if you're gonna do this there should be a grand prize to the person who wins, and some raffle prizes because it's going to be unfair to a lot of people who enter it. Assuming you even want to take it seriously, you have a month to roll a sentinel/marauder, get full 224 gear, and learn a perfect PvE rotation in order to compete.
And do all the fights without dying too...

Yeah, but with companions being a lot stronger then they used to, it's going to balance out. Use a companion that has the highest influence rank, and then set that companion to the role best suited to help you. So if you are a DPS Shadow, then you should set your companion to tank, the kolto stations should be enough to keep you healed. And plus they can tell when you are loading a level, they have already said that level loading, including the down time in between boss fights, doesn't count towards your final time. And really, the only disadvantage I see for someone who has done only PvP is that their companions won't have as high of an influence rank. As long as you have the 208 rated token gear, you are going to be fine, hell even the 208 PvP gear is going to be enough. Sure someone with 224 PvE Operation gear will have a slight advantage, especially if they have the full set bonus, but I wouldn't say it's an advantage that is going to make it unfair.

Has anyone else not been able to see the stats of items linked in chat on some of their characters since 4.0? As pretty much everyone knows if you want to show other players an item you just got, you hold down shift and left click the items icon to put in the chat dialogue box. Then when its entered into chat you click on the items name to see it's stats and can hold control and click it to preview the item. However I have not been able to do either since 4.0 on my main toon, Efeesh which is a level 65 Jedi Sage. I am able to see linked items normally however on my other characters.
