  1. It it were the case that the level 20 and level 50 are identical in every regard, then they should use the same materials to make. But that's not the case, the level 50 items cost far more in terms of materials and take longer to build. If there is no reason for a player to use a level 50 over a level 20, then the level 50 is pointless and should be removed from the game.
  2. So I'm generally not one to whine, but there's an issue that's really hurting the in-game economy that I feel should be brought up and fixed in a future patch. For many players, gaining an augmented lightsaber is essential, both for pve and pvp. The best two sabers in game are crafted using the Artifice skill, and a great deal of expensive materials. They are: Elegant Modified Lightsaber Elegant Modified Double-bladed Saber Their base stats are without any additional mods: Elegant Modified Lightsaber 24.0-36.0 Energy Damage (Rating 6) +48 Force Power Requires Level 50 Elegant Modified Double-bladed Saber 29.0-43.0 Energy Damage (Rating 6) +48 Force Power Requires Level 50 These are great sabers, but there is an issue that is negatively impacting the economy. Players can achieve the exact same results from using level 20 augmented weapons: Custom-built Lightsaber 24.0-36.0 Energy Damage (Rating 6) +48 Force Power Requires Level 20 Custom-built Double-bladed Saber 29.0-43.0 Energy Damage (Rating 6) +48 Force Power Requires Level 20 This means that crafting the level 50 lightsabers is a complete waste of time as the required materials are far more expensive to buy, or harder to gather. Players are buying the cheaper-made sabers and therefore negatively effecting the overall in-game economy due to lack of demand. Currently, the only difference between the above sabers are the way that it looks. Something needs to be done to the level 50 version of these sabers to make them more useful to players in-game. Higher level weapons should always be better than lower level weapons. Anyway, that's my two cents.
  3. Theran Cedrax: "Did I mention..." Player: YES! I KNOW YOUR A DAMN PACIFIST! JUST SHUT UP AND HEAL YOU TECH TOOL!
  4. Ship Droid: "Master! It's so wonderful that you're back. I've grown lonely and needed someone to talk to. Your other companions don't even acknowledge me when I talk to them and I can't figure out why. Oh and I decided to take out all the tasty things from your meals to reduce your caloric intake. It might taste like sawdust, but it'll help while you're out venturing on missions. Are you listening to me? Why do you look so upset? Oh! Before I forget, I'm a bit puzzled by this magazine I found underneath your bed. It appears to contain nude photographs of females posing in a variety of positions. Where are their clothes? Hello? Master, can you hear me? Perhaps my basic language chip is malfunctioning. Oh! Another thing, the cabin bathroom is...." Player: Bioware, please give me an option to eject this damn droid into space with the rest of the trash!
  5. I agree on the idea of being able to move characters/guild to a lesser populated server, at least during this initial launch phase. Once the 20th rolls around here in a few days, and after the 25th when everyone gets the game for Christmas, I strongly believe that there's going to be such a huge rush in players and spike in populations across all servers that wait times are going to possibly triple. If we were granted the ability to change servers for free (possibly once every 72 hours per account), I think that it would decrease wait times significantly. Of course, a decent amount of servers are going to be needed to be added very soon regardless.
  6. I would have to ultimately agree with this statement. Limited access are for those who pre-ordered, and people are invited to join in the order that they pre-ordered. If you pre-ordered late, then you just have to wait in line. The real test of the servers will come on December 20th when everyone can join in. I won't comment on how "smooth" or "rough" the launch is or will be until the 21st.
