I used to be in TOG in STO. Do you guys accept social players?

Seconded, I was SO looking forward to playing the gunship and now I cannot since I subbed on the 6th of Nov. It is making me so angry that I am locked out of it. Heck I would pay cartel coins to buy one, but no, there is none to be found.

So those of us who subbed after Nov 1 can only play the gunship on Jan 14. Damn them, damn them! I would gladly pay coins to get access to a gunship now, since its the only ship type that interests me. I guess I am waiting then.

I really want to play the gunship but I cannot see the gunship section at all. I subbed on the 6th of November. Now I understand that if you sub after Nov 1 you have to buy it, so far I cannot even see an option to buy it at all. Please help, must I contact support?

Been running only instances with a healer friend and comparing my jugger tank to my same level vanguard, it is like night and day. I am totally irritated with having to run to a mob after using force leap to hit it in the face to get its attention. Multiply that by 3 or 4 in a big pack and I am getting sick of it. My vanguard just shoots AoE, tab target shoot and shoot and everything hates me. Yeah sure, you can tell dps, please don't shoot AoE till I have hit everything, but 99% dont listen and it is understandable. It would REALLY be taxing my patience as a DPS if I had to sit there and watch the tank crawl across the battlefield to get the attention of the outliers. Sabre throw at 36? Yes I know, but that is a LONG time from 25 to 36. Ugh

I would agree that a LFG tool across realms is a must too. There is just a way too small sample of people in your level bracket to draw from your own server. Here I mean FPs during levelling up, not end game.

First time assassin here, I have been juggling around with the trees, only at level 31 at the moment. For some reason I have found playing madness spec but in dark charge works best for me. Madness in lightning charge seems too squishy with a lot of down time between PVE mob groups. I don't spec the lightning charge specific talents but have nothing in the darkness tree at all. I set Khem on the dps stance and whack away. The self heals of dark charge plus the DPS boosts from madness plus death field makes for an awesome steamroller through PVE soloing. I have even tanked with it in PVE and it does ok. Am I seeing this right or am I playing madness wrong so that in lightning charge that I have downtime between fights?

I had some time, 2 consecutive hours to play so I decided, I will do an instance, I logged in every one of my 8 characters and twiddled my thumbs for 15 minutes each LFG for an instance at their level... Guess what, no instance run and 2 hours later I had done nothing fun other than stare at the walls of empire and republic fleet. The question still remains, why do MMOs release with NO reasonable way to find groups outside of your current questing zone? It makes no sense, even after billions of lines of text from MMO players saying that it is needed. Why make it difficult to group up? I can only shake my head in frustration when all I want to do is break something to let it out. Sure, I have to wait to 1.3, be patient, etc and untill then SOLO a massively MULTIPLAYER game on 8 different characters. ergh

I also have a lot of active characters, both sides and BOY am I going to be ANGRY if the legacy rewards only apply to NEW characters created after 1.2. I can understand the playable races part yes, that can apply to new characters only but anything else will make my blood boil if I have to roll up a new character to get the benefit.

Since the game is pretty much top heavy now that a lot of people have hit 50, the lower level FPs are not run as much as they used to be, I know because I have many alts. Of course the fact that there is no LFG tool makes it frustrating to stand around fleet and look for a group. That said, they are run and I do see people advertising for them. As you know, the game is easy to level, without FPs too. The guild currently has a very even spread of levels from 10 to 50 and I am sure that you will find people to run with you, especially at night when we have 30 people or so on. We certainly will help if it is needed. As for a braai... we had our first guild photo 2 weeks ago, I guess that counts ;-P

I don't have ALTS, the concept of an alternative character only holds true if I had a main character, which I do not. I have 6 characters I play, one of them is a level 50 and is now retired and only does crew skills and helps people out, since I am not interested in the hamster wheel grind at 50. I play characters on both factions as the mood takes me and I love the stories of each one. Each one has a "feel" to it and a real story behind it and its companion. Love this game.

Republican Knights is really the most chatty and friendly guild I have yet to come across and I am not biased. I tried a total of 5 guilds on imperial side (2 of them South African) and ALL of them were a bust, no one said even "hello" in guild chat when I greeted them so I have a benchmark of comparison. I am still looking for a friendly guild on empire side with my 3 characters and I am not the only one feeling this way. Come join us on republic in Republican Knights and you will see how chatty we are.

SWTOR is surprisingly a very very popular PVP game for PVP matches. Hidden Beks has a very very large South African guild on Republic side and it is a PVE server but the PVP matches are ALWAYS quick and very popular. One of the ways to gear up for end game content is through PVP so it is done a lot in PVP matches. I like a PVE server since you can quest in peace and not watch over your shoulder all the time and then if you want to PVP some then the PVP matches are very nice to queue up for as they are quick and can be fun too.

Hidden Beks for Republic is very big for a PVE server. We have a lot of members in our guild, all South African. There is also another SA guild here on Republic side too, not sure of the name though.

I second that, same experience, it is now coming back VERY rarely, my UT character is still getting a steady supply of Mandalorian but the Radio Active Paste is very slow.

Neuro, add Revenge, Hatred and Waansin to your friends on the Hidden Beks server. We recently merged 2 smaller SA guilds with The Dark Dogs in an effort to grow the guild.

Damned server queues have split the SA community up into so many pieces. Wish we could all get together in one or maybe two places. Would make grouping and raiding so much easier later.

The lack of an all zone LFG channel is also really difficult to work with. I want to be able to quest in a zone where I have quests and also LFG for a flashpoint/heroic quest that I need done. In some cases I am in another zone while still needing a heroic quest done in yet another zone. Standing around in fleet spamming LFG while I itch to go and quest is MADDENING! Please do not try to tell me that standing around waiting for a group is good and fun game play. I have limited time to play and wasting it frustrates me to no end. I went and made a custom channel for my server (hidden beks EU) and tried to get people to use it to LFG no matter where they are, no uptake on it yet. The current LFG tool only works if you are in that zone, irritating as hell. A better LFG tool please, pretty please.
