  1. Problem with that suggestion is if we're working on progression we probably don't have spare items to throw on the GTN, it will go towards someones gear set. If someone doesn't enjoy the PvP then that's just as tedious as the dailies
  2. Money sinks are understandable, but armor repairs are over the top IMO. A full set of Rakata starts costing around 100k and you could be pumping that out multiple times a night if you're doing progression raiding and depending on how long your raids are. One would think when they add in the next tier of gear it's going to cost even more and there's very few ways to recoup that loss outside of grinding pointless and tedious dailies. PvPers on the other hand don't get stuck with repair bills and they make money just by playing the game. It's a money sink that doesn't make sense and was badly thought out (Like so much in this game).
  3. When you're creating top end equipment, you're using materials you have very limited access to (Hard Modes or Raid drops). It could take several hours to craft these and I would still prefer Crit over effeciency. When you resources are limited, you want to spend them wisely, not quickly.
  4. BBB is for assassin tanks. It should be Willpower and Defense.
  5. If only healers could cleanse DoTs from people and heal them. Oh wait...
  6. Bioware aren't idiots, they're not going to ban anyone for leaving a warzone unless the person is doing it repeatedly deom the first spot in the group and/or states in chat they are doing it just to screw people out of a win.
  7. Except he's in PvP killing people, as opposed to avoiding people so he can click on stuff. Sounds like he's PvPing to me.
  8. Companion bonuses Companion affection
  9. Not all data mined data is accessible in the game
  10. Pretty sure they've already said this is coming back after the do some more work on the system. Edit: http://www.swtor.com/blog/why-unify-color-chest-piece-gone-and-whats-next
  11. Topic has already been answered. Have a good day.
  12. There's no global LFG channel and there's no way to find a group that's already forming, only single people who are tagged and the message visability is terrible. So no, we don't have this. Not to mention the /who window is a pain to use as it wasn't built to be a group finder, you can't search for roles, or people doing specific quests, and having to type in level ranges and classes into a single search box is tedious, give us drop downs and more text boxes like a real LFG window.
  13. We need the LFG system from Anarchy Online or from Aion. Essentially the /who window improved and linked to a global LFG channel. When you Type in the LFG window it Flags you lfg with whatever message you type, or if you flag yourself LFG via the /who window it auto types the message into the LFG window. No auto group, no cross server groups, just a simple way for people to find other people without having to stand on the fleet for hours.
  14. You missed the point. You can't have companions once you have 4 players in an area.
  15. It's not an exploit, feel free to pull them down or throw the ball to them so they die.
  16. If we had bigger matches the server would crash. These are the same guys who built Warhammer.
  17. None of the flash points take more than an hour. I run nearly all of them every day to help gear up my guildies. Tip: Except for KuS, bonuses are worthless. 75% of trash can be skipped if you bring an assassin or Operative. Even without them you can still skip a lot. Some Minibosses can also be skipped.
  18. In the hour since you posted you could have ran all of the Nar Shadaa heroics.
  19. Companions count to a 4 player limit, once you have 4 real players you can't have any companions out.
  20. The only gear that is restricted by LS/DS points is red/blue/green color crystals (red is DS, blue/green is LS), certain low level relics and a couple of armor pieces from the Light/Dark vendors. You can essentially ignore the system and it wont effect you in any way.
  21. Addons do nothing that we can't already do in game, they just make the information easier to see/decipher. Gearscore? We can already inspect you. DPS meters? Once we get combat logs we will be able to parse them anyway Raiding? The game already tells you what to do, or your raid leader will. Healing mouseovers? Macros? They just mean we need less clicks to do things, we still have to use the skills ourselves and decide when and where to use them. Addons are simply for convenience. They don't magically make you a better player or play the game for you, they're just a different way to process the data the game provides you already.
