Recently returned to the game and I thought I'd pop in some pvp on my operative healer. unranked pvp solo queue on a 31 op. 5 games later I almost deleted the game. My team was consistently disorganized, half of them went and hid in stealth and watched the rest of us get mowed down over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. The other teams must have been grouped. Different players each time, but I couldn't keep up with their damage output. 1.9m heals each game give or take and it was just so demoralizing to not be able to keep anyone alive or to even score 1 point or take 1 objective. Just utter and complete annihilation. QQ moar yeah, but maybe the devs of this game should take a look at the quality of pvp in their game because I've never seen a mismatch so great before. 5 games in a row and I just felt utterly sick of playing. Is that a good recipe for success? And for those of you who will inevitably demean me and laugh and whatever... that's fine. But one more person has left pvp. Soon you'll just be beating yourself.

This trailer inspired me to come back to SWTOR. All I would like to know is if the armor and lightsaber of the main human female jedi in the trailer is ever available in the game. I already know the hairstyle with the bun and long ponytail is not available, but I would like to make a Jedi Guardian just like the one in the trailer since it affected me so much. Thanks

Returned to SWTOR very recently. I see the top dps specs are Merc and Sniper. I think we have to assume that the stance doubling bug will be fixed soon, so an assassin wouldn't be top dps after that fix. But I don't want to level up one of each character. I do want to do the top content in the game. I have no guild or friends that play this game, so what class would you recommend that most people will want to add to their group that is doing the top tier content in the game right now? I prefer to wield a lightsaber, but I would still like to know the most sought after classes in PvE (PvP too I suppose, although I probably play PvE more) Thanks

Thanks everyone. I've decided to play both. Female juggernaut and a male marauder. And, I'm considering a male Jedi guardian, if I can stomach the Republic, that is.

I've been doing a lot of research, and had pretty much decided to choose a jugg for my newly subbed warrior. But, with the 2.8 changes, it appears maras got a big buff, and juggs a nerf. So, the question is: with 2.8, are any maras and juggs able to offer advice on which to choose for a returning player? I want to pvp some, but also pve. I don't care about tanking, but could enjoy it. I am more interested in having a desirable (currently unguilded) character to run flashpoints, raids, or pvp. Thanks.

And how many times have we seen the same lame cave layout on both sides? You know the one, slightly curves in and out, then you arrive at a path around the right side with a depression to the left. And at the end, a final wrap around the rear side of the pit where the objective is. Repubs will know it right away as a few caves in the jedi starting area.

But wasn't his point that they could have made the Republic fleet first to look like that, and then just changed everything to Empire colors after? So it would be impossible to tell which came first, the Empire or the Republic fleet.
