  1. I got sick of changing specs to optimize for PvP and PvE as a tank, so here is the build I am currently using 18/23/0: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101GrMdzzMZfMrzrhzzM.1 It seems to hold threat just fine, defensive ability is ridiculous, and also does well in warzones. The key is using Force Scream every time it's up because this build relies heavily on Sonic Barrier being up every 9 seconds. All of the other defensive stuff is fairly useless in PvP unless you're getting attacked by a ton of marauders or snipers and in PvE scenarios it can be very easily supplemented by gear. Breakdown of my choices: Explanation of Immortal Tree choices: Tier 1: Battle Cry: Free Force Scream after using Force Charge (build centers heavily around Force Scream since it is what puts up your Sonic Barrier). Quake: Anything hit by this gets a 5% penalty to accuracy. Helps with AoE groups because it lowers ops/FP incoming group damage as a whole. Enraged Sunder: Extra Rage from Sundering Assault. This is one of your main Rage builders, so you need the extra rage this provides. Tier 2: Intimidation: This isn't necessarily that important, but I like it a lot in PvP and even in PvE if you need to kite a bunch of mobs, you can spam this without having to worry about your rage going down. In PvP this is awesome as it is a great harrassing move and can help in any of those warzones where you need to slow people down. Lash Out: This helps with rage management lowering your Retaliation cost to 1 Rage from 3. Tier 3: Heavy Handed: Increases your AoE damage from Smash and Sweeping Slash. Unleashed: Reduces cooldown on CC breaker move by 30 sec. Invincible: Must have for tanking. It is the only really useful tanking cooldown juggernauts have. Tier 4: Force Grip: Makes force choke instant cast, allowing you to continue threat generation with other attacks or stay on the move for mobile fights while the mob is temporarily CC'd and taking damage. Sonic Barrier: This is the best passive ability the Immortal tree has to offer. It is a damage shield that pops up every time you use Force Scream. There is synergy with this ability with the Rakata tanking set and the Vengeance skill in the Vengeance tree. Explanation of Vengeance Tree choices: Tier 1: Single Saber Mastery: Increases all damage output by 6%. More damage = more threat! Stagger: Very useful in PvP. Love it in Huttball for those fire traps. Not much use in PvE. Improved Sundering Assualt: Stacks armor penetration twice as fast. Great for ops/FP group dps and threat generation. Tier 2: Dreadnaught: Increased strength = increased daamage = MORE THREAT!!! Unyielding: More rage in PvP and PvE. Tier 3: Draining Scream: I put this point in here for added dps just because I couldn't think of where else to put it. I needed to spend 1 more point to get to Tier 4(Accuracy seemed pointless since there is more than enough on the gear I have to cap my accuracy). Unstoppable: This is HUGE in PvP and in PvE. Start out encounters with 20% damage reduction for PvE(you can intercede and charge back to the boss to keep this up every 30 seconds). Just makes you a beast in PvP(immune to CC, knockback, etc.). Pooled Hatred: Increases damage by 10-50% when your movement is impaired. Great for threat, great for PvP. Tier 4: Vengeance: Reduces cooldown of Impale by 6 seconds (brings it down to 9 seconds which is a huge increase in threat and dps) and cooldown of Force Scream by 3 second (brings it down to 9 seconds). This is HUGE because it allows you to keep your Sonic Barrier up MUCH more often. This is huge in damage reduction as it seems to absorb at 5k damage in EV HM right now without the Rakata set bonus. Ruin: Smash is FREE!!!!! Tier 5: Impale: Great damage, great threat, AWESOME ANIMATION! (you do a freaking FLIP!) Deafening Defense: Reduces all damage taken by 4%! AWESOME FOR EVERYTHING! Adds 15% damage reduction to Enraged Defense(this can be useful in PvE, but mainly just for PvP since it reduces your threat to basically nothing). If you decide to use Enraged Defense as a tank... Prepare to AoE taunt and spam AoE attacks as much as possible, and intercede to the highest threat. Also make sure you're always guarding a DPS. Reduces AoE CC move by 15 seconds (6 sec. CC breaks on damage, 60 sec cooldown brought down to 45 seconds). Anyways... That is my build. Please keep in mind this is kind of a jack of all trades build. It can do decent DPS (not great, but if you only need 1 tank for certain fights, just switch to Shii-Cho and burn some rage). I think it's real shining point is how often you can pull up Sonic Barrier, which seems to help out on heals quite a bit in HM Ops. Threat hasn't been a problem in Ops or FPs so far, although the only ops I've only run with this is HM EV. I love PvP with this build because my damage is about 2-3 times higher than when I am a full Immortal build and it doesn't seem to affect my tankiness at all (only thing I'm really feeling is the loss of backhand). Any constructive criticism is appreciated. I don't think the build is by any means perfect, but it's pretty fun and has worked out well so far.
