  1. I agree with a lot of the responses here. And I also think whatever it is (or combination of things) the SWTOR team is doing, it seems to be working. Non-issue is definitely an accurate term I'd say. I think I've only had 3 spam mails ever in game? I thought that it would become more prominent with the release of the game in the Asian and Pacific markets, i.e. Hong Kong, etc. But its been what... almost 3 weeks?... since that time, and I haven't noticed an increase with that either. I love it, keep it up BioWare! I'm sure we'll continue to argue content, bugs and nerfs till the world ends on these forums, but at least we don't see so much of the spamming!
  2. I was under the impression that the Master Loot was fixed with the 1.1.5 patch, however I seemed to have trouble with it during my Guild Raid this week. It seemed to work just fine on the bosses where you loot their corpse, but bugged out on the chests. We had to use a workaround to get it. The Master Looter would assign the loot to that player, it would show up as given to that player in the chat logs, but the item would not leave the chest to go to that players inventory. That particular player would have to be given Master Loot privileges, and loot the item loot the item for themselves, then rotate through every player. Now... I haven't read much on this yet, so it could have been a one time thing, or perhaps something we did incorrectly.... Or perhaps there's still a little tweaking to be done with the mechanic. If anyone else has any info on this, it'd be greatly appreciated. I've submitted a bug report ticket, but I've yet to get a response so far. If by chance it is still a little buggy, I hope it gets hotfixed soon. Master Loot in our guild setting would be very helpful. (And BTW, the previews for Update 1.2 looks great. Of course, there are certain things people like more than others, and everyone has different opinions on what's a priority, so I'm sure there will be some interesting discussion... but i definitely see it as a great step in the right direction, and there are quite a few features I'm personally excited for.)
  3. I think the OP is being a little over dramatic, but despite that, they bring up a few good suggestions. (Yes, they should be suggestions, not demands. Please show a little more tact and respect, these guys work hard.) I'm not entirely satisfied with the current AH functionality, and being searchable (without drop down selections) would be VERY helpful. Also, I think being able compare prices more effectively would be a good idea. Hopefully some improvements will show up soon!
  4. Ahh, I see. I have a few of those I've been meaning to turn in. Now when I get home from work I'll know the details. Haven't tried to use them yet, but thanks for the headstart on the info.
  5. Bump. I thought this post needed more attention.
  6. Really? Reroll it yourself. You're too busy complaining about it to do it yourself and fix the issue. Becuase you have IRL obligations and can't find the time. How about you reroll yourself, prove your own point, send it off to BioWare for a bug report and be done with it. You'll spend 2 hours, prove your point, fix your problem and be the hero for bringing to BioWares attention. Play your selected class or make a new one. If there's an error in the text, let them know and they'll fix it.
  7. I seriously Lol'd after reading this thread. I read the entire thing, line by line. And then I realized... that apparently you have too many other IRL obligations to reroll the first 10 levels.. most of which can be breezed through now that you know the storyline/quests/tutorials. I suppose spending 2-3 hours complaining on the forums is too much of an IRL obligation to reroll.... omg rofl.
  8. True. When so many people use workarounds to avoid AFK logoffs, it makes the queues so much worse. And on the other side of the argument, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of quarters stuck in keyboards for auto run!
  9. +1 Agreed Finally, a player with a positive outlook on the forums. So much complaining around here... gets depressing after awhile.
  10. I've been playing a lightsided Sith as well. There are gear restrictions, dark/light sided vendors etc. Color crystals for sabers/blasters are also choice driven. Bad = Red, Blue/Green = Light, etc. As far as endgame, I haven't gotten there, so I guess we'll see!
  11. I guess our only hope then is to be in an honest group! Hahaha.. which isn't always possible in an MMO.... Hooray for guildmates that don't suck and steal all your gear!
  12. True. That's a forever ongoing issue. How can things be taken advantage of and how many people will do it. Or perhaps, as some MMOs do, only able to need on your class of armor. Then have the Companion button available for ONLY your currently summoned companions armor type. For example, sith inquisitor with a tanking companion. Sith main can only roll need on light, and companion need button can only be selected for heavy.
  13. I'm sure they have plans to increase the cap. Most MMOs raise the bar once the populations spreads out a bit. I'm sure after launch they will. But until then.... queue's it is....
