  1. So, I just finished up the Sith Warrior class quest line today, and I have to say that I have mad respect and love for Darth Vowrawn. The guy's good at laying out strategy, but he also knows when to crack a joke and enjoy in a spectacle. I really hope we get to see more of him in future content, he's my broseidon from here on out <3

Biography: Tan’shae was born to a young girl named Jhey’ryn Kyr’vel on Nar Shaddaa. Jhey’ryn had gotten herself indebted to Kallec Skade, a small-time Devaronian crime lord, after failing to pay up the credits to feed her nasty spice habit. Having had Tan’shae so young, Jhey’ryn felt her daughter had robbed her of her fast and carefree lifestyle, so she quickly learned to shoulder her child off on other slaves to be taken care of while she went to dance clubs and indulged in more spice. By her pre-teen years, Tan’shae felt incredibly detached and alone, despite a constant flow of slaves and criminals to interact with. This resulted in her trying to desperately win her mother’s affections by any means possible, be it though getting her spice, or impressing her by pulling off escalateingly illegal crimes. Nevertheless, none of it ever seemed to leave much of an impression on her mother, who still openly scorned and rejected her in front of others. Unshaken by how her mother treated her, by thirteen, Tan’shae was determined to become a bigshot crime lord in the hopes that such success would leave her mother no choice but to notice and praise her. However, Akaia Kyr’vel, Tan’shae’s grandmother, had other plans for her. The first time Tan’shae met her grandmother was shortly after her thirteenth birthday. Akaia arrived on Nar Shaddaa with a platoon of Mandalorian warriors in tow, and made short work of tracking down Kallec and her estranged daughter. The older, white-haired woman had come for Tan’shae, as she had become an adult by Mandalorian standards, which Akaia intended to take advantage of by offering her indoctrination into the Mandalorian culture. Ever eager to impress her mother, and excited at the thought of a whole clan to call her own, Tan’shae eagerly agreed and left Nar Shaddaa with her grandmother. Jhey’ryn remained with Kallec on the smuggler’s moon, despite pleading from her mother to come with her and Tan’shae. Akaia brought her granddaughter aboard her ship the White Raven, a refurbished Mandalorian crusader-class corvette, where her sect of the Kyr’vel clan of Mandalorains resided. It was like a dream-come-true for Tan’shae, going from practically no family at all to over fifty individuals, a number which would grow over time. Once settled aboard her new home, Tan’shae was taken aside by her grandmother, who told her of their great legacy. They were descended from a long line of powerful Mandalorian and Echani warriors, dating back three hundred years to the great Qatar Flynn, a force-sensitive warrior who fought alongside the mighty Jedi Revan and the legendary Canderous Ordo, before he became Mandalore the Preserver. Invigored by the news of her legacy, Tan’shae eagerly began her training as a Mandalorian warrior, under the mindful eye of her grandmother and the elders aboard the White Raven. Her training brought her to many exotic planets, like Tattooine, Kashyyk, Mon Calamari, and countless others. Such natural places were a wonderful change of pace from the polluted cityscapes of Nar Shaddaa, and the young Mandalorian quickly learned how to survive in any environment. On top of that, Tan’shae finally felt as though she belonged, now that she had an actual family, with brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, and any other family member she ever could have wished for. Their rowdy energy and close ties to one another more than filled the gaping void Tan’shae had had since she was young, and it fueled her drive to become great. Shortly after her eighteenth birthday, it became apparent to Tan’shae and those around her that she was a force-sensitive, just like her ancestor Qatar. Her grandmother had suspected a connection to the force, as Tan’shae had demonstrated almost clairvoyant intuition to anticipate her opponent’s actions, and had prepared to discuss force training with Tan’shae. She explained how she would be neutral with how Tan’shae chose to train, if she even chose to train at all, whether she choose the path of either Jedi or Sith teachings. The allure of power through the force was far too seductive for Tan’shae to ignore, and she quickly decided that she would train on Korriban to become a Sith, certain that doing so would finally make her mother proud. The Sith Academy on Korriban proved to be a difficult place to live. Tan’shae was thankful of her previous Mandalorian training, certain that she wouldn’t have survived the academy otherwise. It was on Korriban that Tan’shae met Heth, a voluptuously built Ratataki and former slave, who would prove to be a lifelong companion for the budding Sith. Unlike Tan’shae, who had great aptitude for channeling the force into a blade, Heth was more adept in using the force in its raw form, using it to electrocute, madden, and even heal those around her. They were able to form a formidable alliance, and stand toe-to-toe against the most dangerous things Korriban had to offer, be it monstrous tuk’ata beasts, or exalted, over-privileged Sith Pureblood acolytes, who always looked to strike the pair down, and “purify” the academy. Heth and Tan’shae eventually went their separate ways, with Tan’shae departing Korriban first to report to her new master, Darth Baras, on Dromund Kaas. The two swore to remain connected, and Tan’shae was able to hold her head high when she left, knowing that she had survived a place and trials that many others did not. At the Vaikan Spacedock, under the instruction of the Sith Masters aboard, she took up a second lightsaber, and begun her training as a Sith Marauder. Though she missed her friend Heth, Tan’shae was happy to find another companion in a svelte Twi’lek named Vette, a “gift” from her master, though she quickly liberated her new companion of her slave collar. Over several years, Tan’shae and Vette carried out Darth Baras’ bidding on Dromund Kaas, aiding him in extracting information about his rival Nomen Kaar’s padawan, before leaving for Balmorra to execute the first of Baras’ spy network. It was on Balmorra that Tan’shae met then-Lieutenant Malavai Quinn, employee of her master and liaison to her and Vette during their stay on Balmorra. Even with her playful flirting with the Lieutenant, Tan’shae could not have foreseen what a large part the prim-and-proper Imperial officer would play in her life. And the rest, well… you’ll just have to play the Sith Warrior storyline to see where it goes from there.
  5. that's awesome, thanks so much! ^^ I want to finish writing a part of it first, then I think I can send via a PM also, have you gotten any more of those "love letters" from Malavai after you get the third one? I keep hoping for another one to pop up in my mailbox, but so far, no luck above all else, I'm waiting for more things with him to be patched in next <3
  6. Hmm, it's odd that most of his decisions landed you in the light, because it was opposite for me xD I was able to get to dark 3 doing options that for the most part sat well with Malavai, and that's one of the other reasons I used him more than my other companions My sith is very much an angry, vengeful sort, especially with the backstory and culture she was raised in, so to cross her is a pretty bad idea xD (by the way, if you have the time, would you possibly mind beta-reading the Quinn/SW fic I have in the works? you do a really good job of writing Malavai in-character, and I'm just worried I'm being a little ooc with him at times >_> )
  7. Yeah, i remember actually being kind of scared when he did that, which is saying a lot, sine I'm not usually scared by guys who look like they've been having a bit too much space McDonald's that being said, I'm kind of sad that you don't really see many more scenes with him like that afterwords then again, I could be wrong. I'm level 47 on Correllia right now, so here's hoping I get some more scariness from him later, because it was freaking awesome when he was that scary.
  8. Just finished reading your fic, and I must commend you, it's very well written, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, being the Malvai fangirl that I am Though, your sith was faaar more gentle on him than mine was, I must say xD regardless, it was still a very enjoyable fic to read, especially with all of Malavai's internalized guilt leading up to what he did. I look forward to seeing more writing from you, as it satiates the rabid fangirl in me xD
  9. I've been browsing the Sith Warrior forums for a few weeks, and something I've noticed is a rather overwhelming disdain towards Marauders, saying that they're a bad/difficult/inferior class to play when compared to the Juggernaut. I've been playing a Marauder since launch, currently have her at 45, speced in Annihilation with mostly orange commendation gear, and I really don't understand the overwhelming hate. Personally, I love my Marauder, and I've had fun learning how to play her. I don't think I'm an exceptionally good player, not by any means, but playing as a Marauder hasn't been overly difficult for me. I can take down strong enemies and elites up to two levels above me, and still walk out of the fight with 30-40 percent health, so long as have Quinn healing and some medpacks on hand(i need them more for the elites, not the strongs). That being said, I haven't levelled a Jugg yet (or even the Jedi equivalent of a Jugg), I don't do flashpoints/operations, and I don't PVP, so maybe in those circumstances, a Jugg is better, and I have no experience playing a Jugg, so I couldn't say myself which one is better. But as far as PVE goes, I find the Marauder to be a pretty solid and strong class, especially with Quinn tagging along as a healer (I use pretty much no one else). I guess what I'm trying to ask is why there seem to be a lot of people have a great disdain for Marauders, when I haven't encountered much trouble trying to play one at all? I'd appreciate feedback from PVE players who dislike Marauders, as PVE is what I play almost exclusively.
  10. I'm currently playing a dark-sided female Sith Warrior, and in doing some research, I have some concerns about the possible romance with Malavai. I didn't really like him at first, but he's sort of slowly growing on me, and since my Sith can't seduce Vette as I originally intended, I figured I'd have her try and pursue Malavai. I've been able to have her flirt with him and such, but I've been reading around on some sites that he's the light-sided romance option for the female Sith Warrior. I was wondering if someone could tell me whether or not that was true? It doesn't make much sense to me that it would be, since I've had far more of his affection gains come from dark-sided actions as opposed to light-sided actions (I've actually lost affection from him with most light-sided actions, even the ones I thought he'd like!! How in the world could he possibly be light-side only?!). If it is true, then well... I guess there's still time for my girl to change her tune, but I'd really rather her still be bad and snag him any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
